Your van is beautiful! Love the pillow storage. I'm on my fourth year of living in my 25 foot class A Winnebago warrior motorhome with my little dog Tinkerbell filming places I go and camp for free. I'm 60. Started living my dream after beating kidney cancer. You are so organized! You are an amazing woman! Continue living and enjoying life! You go girl! You do amaze me living in a small space. I thought mine was small! LOL!
@debscreepy so glad that you beat cancer and are living your best life Vaning it ip. You are truly blessed, and I'm sure you not only know that, but live in gratitude each day. I'm willing to bet it had a great deal to do with how you beat that insidious "C" word. Will be keeping you in my prayers 🙏 as you continue your travel adventures that you will stay safe and have exquisite health while living your dream. Namaste 🙏
Love your bright, positive spirit, Bev! Always a pleasure to see that you have a new video up. I think the thing I like best is that you've decided that you're going to enjoy life and do the things that are most pleasurable and meaningful to you. You're setting a great example. Keep up the great work. --Gary
You're so kind to all of your viewers who post thoughtful comments by acknowledging you read their comments. I'm sure you've brightened many peoples' days by reaching back out to them. Fantastic.
Have been a subscriber for a little while now and find your content inspirational. I just turned 59 and feel like I'm at the start of my next big adventure. Thank you for leading the way.
Great video! You expressed my sentiments exactly. I've only owned my van for 7 months, but in that time I've put 23k miles on it. I don't live in it full time, but I go extensive periods of time in places far from home. Every time I leave the house, I have everything with me to be gone indefinately. Even driving around town, I don't use public bathrooms, I always have cold drinks and snacks on hand, I can lie down and take a nap anytime I want. There's no going back, I will always drive a van.
Another way to battle the heat is a very specific window tint from the brand 3M and it is there Crystalline series that black 97% of the heat from the sun, they have many options of how dark you want the tint. I'm about to have it installed in my van in a few weeks. I think if we could get the word out about this product a lot more people would stick with van life and ultimately enjoy it WAY more!
Something so simple - those little velcro hearts to help keep your curtains in place - you can see the joy in your eyes, and hear it in your voice. Bravo!! You're living what so many of us seek.... joy.
You've got some time in van life under your belt now and I really enjoyed this van tour update - beautiful van, words of wisdom, and radiating contentment living the life you've chosen.
"What is the point of all this stuff?" is a great question. I've been slowly paring down *stuff* for months now and my "load" is getting lighter and lighter so I'm feeling more free as each bag is carted off. Thank you for the fun tour of your sweet little precious girly van...it is SO pretty! Happy trails, Bev! :-)
I just love your videos you are such a joy to watch.I am 72 been camping off and on for years but last year was my first van year and a lot of ideas came from you. Maybe I will seen you down the road one day.☺️
Well, first of all, the camera LOVES you! You look great and you are a natural presenter. Your love of what you are doing comes through. Stay safe and enjoy every moment. You are inspiring many to consider doing something different, whatever that might be to find more happiness.
Congratulations! I'll see you out there. Great job! Love it! I've seen literally 100's of van builds in the last 5 years. You have absolutely killed. Nobody can touch this!
Hi Beverly, it’s Kendra:) you are so clever! Smart! Creative! Talented! Sweet! & humble! So happy I got to have dinner with you & meet you! There are so many interesting layers to who you are!♥️
I always love watching your videos! You exude peace, relaxation, and a readiness / openness for whatever adventure comes your way. I like traveling without scheduling every detail and I feel like you have the same style. am in my 50's as well and have plans to hit the road with my dogs in a couple of years as my kids will be going off to college this fall. But for now I can live van life vicariously through you! Lol Keep posting content and I'll keep watching!
@@BecomingBev You are quite welcome. If you are ever in Tennessee, look me up. I have an RV site for a van if needed. I am currently building out a 1994 E350 Club Wagon. Ran into a snag with a leak from the transmission. Hopefully getting fixed in the next few weeks. Like you, I used to be a nomad, then bought some land and now have a homebase. I am looking to get out there again and see the mountains. First Tennessee, then New Mexico and Arizona.
Hi, love the conversion you did to the van! I'm not a tassel fellow, but must say that I love it when you took ownership of your "tassel game!" Can't wait to see some more of your channel and videos. Take care and be safe.
I've been watching your channel for awhile and I love when you do a van tour because there's always something new or maybe something I have missed from your other tours. I'm trying so hard to get a minivan so I can get started but so many obstacles keep getting in the way. I'm determined to make it happen as soon as I can. Your van is absolutely beautiful! ❤
Hi Michelle, thank you for your time and for coming along with me on the journey. I wish you all the best in finding the perfect rig for you. May the adventures begin.
I’m also 59, and about to do the same as you. I’ve been slowly moving towards the Nomad life, not purposefully. Rather kind of a subconscious progression. I became empty nester and sold everything and started traveling for work. Last year I took 6 months off and lived in the family cabin, bought a SUV and went on road trips. I went back to work in the PNW and am now thinking about the van life. So, I’m looking for a van! 2 more months of work and then I plan to get back to the cabin and prepare for van life travel. Thanks for the tour and all your ideas!! Love your spirit 🌼☮️
There’s so much to love about the van. It’s so self contained. I wish you all the best and it sounds like the cabin could be a home base for you if you need it. That’s cool.
I've been living in my Jeep Patriot for 2 months now. Prior to that I was renting a room from a couple that owned an 8,000 square-foot mansion on the river. I am so much happier now
OMG! We did that in our motorhome with hanging crystals and different colored Romanian beads so when the light hits we have colors all over. Your Maxair fan they have light bars that go around the square. Yep, total 70's vibe we love it!
The notice that there was a new Becoming Bev video popped up and I paused the Branson Country USA video I was watching and rushed to see this one! I have missed ya, Bev! Glad to see another video. Jennifer is looking good!
I always love watching your videos you exude peace relaxation and a readiness openness for whatever adventure comes your way I like traveling without scheduling every detail and I feel like you .
Thank you for the updated van tour. Wow, I did not think you could improve on the original build but you have. Thank you for taking us along. Safe travels.
Hi Bev, I just watched this video again after watching your one about someone saying you have a soft life and I just wanted to say hats off to you and good for you Bev. You’re a smart lady and you’re living the dream but you didn’t just get where you are right now from nowhere. Thank you for sharing what happened in your life and how you got to be where you are right now. Good for you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 don’t let anybody make you feel bad about what you have achieved!
Oh I've been waiting for this. Fabulous!!! Beautiful and efficient...I part time in my van as well, for 6 years now, but am always looking for ways to tweak things. You have some great ideas that I'm going to try. Thanks Bev!
❤ your beautiful van Bev! You certainly have used your limited space wisely and your decor is gorgeous. I continue to downsize mine and getting tweaked for full time travel. The USA 🇺🇸 awaits me as I begin my travels in Lydia Mae 🚐🥰
Hi Bev! This full tour of your van is awesome. The prettiest full size van I've ever seen. Your exterior shots are beautiful too with the shiny paint and custom artwork with the branch and birds. Love!! Thanks for sharing. Safe Travels
I have loved watching your van become yours. Thank you for sharing your van life adventures. You are an inspiration to me. My retirement plan is to buy a van, kit it out and travel. I'm excited with the possibilities!
Bev, I think you have a near-perfect setup. Your buddy in Texas did an outstanding job. I do have three questions: Do you carry any recovery gear for going off the paved roads? Does the van have issues with changes in elevation when driving in mountainous areas? How is the gas mileage overall? Maybe these questions can lead to content for your channel. Thanks in advance. I love witnessing your journey.
Yes, my recovery gear is called AAA. Lol I haven’t noticed problems with changes in elevation. Although I now know that you can’t cross mountains with less that a quarter of a tank of gas. I get around 16mpg. Thank you for being a part of the journey!!
"My tassel game is strong." Fantastic. This is the first video of yours I've seen. It definitely won't be the last. I love your energy. And not only is your van delightful, but one of the most functional I've seen. Respect.
Hi Bev every time I see your van it looks completely different, for ever changing for the better, at the moment it’s a typical ladies van everything so feminine looks stunning in there, your really getting to grips with space saving everything has its place looks so good well done, don’t stop vanning until you have been to England lol, lots of love to you Bev stay safe ❤️🌹xx
I think a van, like a house is a work in progress and it keeps getting tweaked. i think it would be fun to van in England. Thanks for taking the time to always watch and comment.
Love your positive energy! I would love to convert a van to a camper so my Husband and I could camp. We can’t do the tent thing anymore, we are 58. Love what you have done with your van!!
Your van is feminine, stylish, and beautiful! I'm with you about having a van as an everyday driver even apart from full time van life. I like having my things with me and it's pet friendly travel. Love the paint job and designs on the van too! By the way, how long can you run the A/C off the lithium battery or can you? Thank you so much for sharing! Happy safe travels!!!🏞️
Somehow I just CANNOT picture Bev as sitting in a retirement home someday thinking of all the "What if's" so many do when they can no longer get around like they used to do. She's going to be raising cain until her last breath and making people sorry to see her not around.
I found your channel on Tiny Home Tours last night and what an great upgrade you did to your van! Love the new kitchen cabinet, the large built in storage drawers under the bed, a/c generator, shower, new potty/bench cover, electric bike and all the bling! We used to do RVing, now full time living in MX but I still like seeing what other people are doing to live interesting lives and travel freely. Continue to enjoy!
I must have been off grid when this posted. Just love your van. They/you did such a good job with the layout. I love it that you show people it does not have to be a cluttered mess like so so so many vans in van life. Such a cozy little space. I LOVE IT.
Hi Bev. Your story is mine exactly. I'm 75 and can't see the point of sitting at home, doing housework, watching TV, gardening and waiting for a visit from someone. So I left (again) with my dog and moved into my Merc Sprinter van. Using my unit as motel room, only when and if I need to get off the road for some reason. At the moment I'm sitting on the side of a beautiful river, in the best part of Australia, watching the crazy world go by. I feel safer, invisible and more at home here than anywhere. And tomorrow my view will change, so I feel like I'm living an adventure, not living in God's waiting room, in some 'acceptable' comfort zone. I left all the windows in the van and tinted them 90% and arranged everything around the 360deg view. The peace & comfort is amazing. I really admire what you do and can personally relate to what you say completely. We are very lucky...we have have found the good life! Cheers. 🌹
My hubby and I have the same van and just started our weekend van life. What an amazing feeling it is to be free! We want to continue our adventures but haven’t yet figured out a way to make money while on the road. I love how you used your space, and I love your energy. Thanks for the idea with the throw pillow covers, and the outdoor shower. Genius! I look forward to watching many more videos. Keep on moving and keep on smiling. 😊
I love the idea of you two out adventuring. You’ll tweak your set up as you go. I’m still making adjustments. Thanks for the sweet note. Sounds like you’re having fun with it.
💓 Myself and my 4 cats are on our way to van life soon. My house closing is in 5 weeks. My van is not built out, more a temp build, but we have to start somewhere, right😉!? You are so beautiful and living your best life! Love that!!!!!! The van is amazing & your spirit is so welcoming!! Huge hugs and tons of love! 💓 Thank you for sharing!!!! 🥰
Good for you we to have been in our van 7.5 years in Bulgaria at the moment it's wonderful wakeing to different places.keep going for how ever long you happy
When you described your van is like a hotel room is quite an understatement. Because most hotels don't come with spectacular views like you get when you park in these scenic locations
I love all of the embroidery on the outside of your van and all the fancy lace, decorative pillows, and the cool accents. Id love to see how it lights up at night. I bet it is heavenly. Bleach is my friend too! Lol. Looks wonderfully cozy in there! Ty for sharing.
I'm in an '84 micro-mini coach on a Nissan truck frame- a vintage mini Nissan motorhome. You van campers would probably envy some of my amenities such as the small bathroom w/standup shower, but you'll be happy you have a bigger engine. My four-banger engine takes its sweet time to get the rig up to 55 or 60, the payoff is that it gets a solid 18 MPG. I've had to renovate, but I've kept the old look as much as possible. I don't apologize for all that old wood, the old curtains/valances, or even the dated wallpaper with a coffee pot/teapot print. I've resisted changing interior lightbulbs to LED because I'd miss the "warmth" of the incandescents, but I hear they now have "warm LEDs". A little hominess is so welcoming when I step inside to put the teakettle on a burner. You're right- having everything you like right with you is sooo nice. I know my tea is superior to anything I could find in any restaurant, so are my china cups. There's always some kind of stress- even driving in normal traffic can wind you up a bit. You need to step back into your small living space and feel comforted and warm. I'd say- avoid the "white-out" interior, you know, the "polar bear eating vanilla ice cream in a blizzard" look.
I love all the updates on the van.. you lead a very wonderful life.. I like the part where you said the whole country is your backyard!.. so COOL really.. Big Hugs my Missouri friend!
I love watching van lifestyle and you one of the lucky one chance to do it.. everywhere you park is you backyard and that’s awesome.. some days imma do the same thing..Now I’m old is my chance to live and free be any places I wanna be!🥰😘👍
Great tour Bev. I love all the frills but if you stayed in the windy desert for any amount of time even bleach would not keep everything clean and white. Your decorations are beautiful and well thought out.
What a great use of space. I like that you don't seem to have to shuffle things around to get at what you need. Nice to have windows for views, too. Downright luxurious, yet highly functional.
Dominique… I’m laughing. If you watch me discombobulated video you will see that getting to this organized, not shuffling things around place has been a process. Lol Yes I refer to my van as a little posh hotel room.
@@BecomingBev Haha. I'm right there with you. I converted my minivan about 5 years ago and certainly had stuff in there that I never even saw until I decided to remove them. Now, everything I put in the van has as many uses as possible and the things I use the most are pretty much the most easily accessible. Probably why I appreciate your build the way I do :)
I am a part time RV’er with a channel, and as soon as you mentioned you rolled your dirty laundry to save space then I subscribed on the spot! I love your van and how adorable you’ve made it! Stay safe and enjoy yourself!!
Good morning Bev! Really nice tour, first time I saw the birds and branches graphics, cool! I agree that less can be more, you show how it can be comfortable at the same time. Roll on!
Such an elegant van. It reminds me of a southern mansion with one of those big wrap around porch. Love the little heart shaped velcro. And your pink tool bag! ⚒️ 💕 I am so inspired by your story. I find this lifestyle so intriguing and hope to hit the road in the next 2 years.
I surfed at Surfside. The best break was at a place we called Octagons because of the house that marked where to paddle out. Decades later I'm living in Dallas and the local paper has a story about Surfside along with a picture of that beach house. Turns out we should have called it Hexagons ...
Lovely to see a new video..its been a while..and is like seeing an old friend! I agree with you on the less is more...while I am based in a tiny cottage in the UK, people have often wondered why I have never been interested in the "bigger, better, more" attitude most westerners have. I have more than enough already and am truly grateful for what I do have! Peace.x
Can we just stop to admire how stunning Bev is?!
What a sweet thing to say. Thank you.
Pretty lady and after the shower scene wow everything is in the right place.

Yes, my recovery gear is called AAA. Lol I haven’t noticed problems with changes in elevation. Although I now know that you can’t cross mountains with less that a quarter of a tank of gas. I get around 16mpg. Thank you for being a part of the journey!!
Love your channel...you are a delight...thanks for your up personality..you are a true joy to listen to!!
Thank you Nancy. What a nice thing for me to read
I love what you've done with the outside of your van! Did you cover that in any of your videos? It's a beautiful color 💜
Thank You. My friend Yvonne put the decals on it before I bought the van.
"My tassel game is strong." Fantastic.
This is the first video of yours I've seen. It definitely won't be the last. I love your energy. And not only is your van delightful, but one of the most functional I've seen. Respect.
My tassel game is strong. LOL thank you for watching my videos and I’m so glad you enjoyed it
Hi Bev every time I see your van it looks completely different, for ever changing for the better, at the moment it’s a typical ladies van everything so feminine looks stunning in there, your really getting to grips with space saving everything has its place looks so good well done, don’t stop vanning until you have been to England lol, lots of love to you Bev stay safe ❤️🌹xx
I agree, at this point in life I want to be comfortable.
The AC only works when I plugged in or using the generator.
Just a quick hello to say I'll keep watching. Always bright and cheerful you are ,so that's the way I feel when watching.
Awe…. I love the idea of you feeling a little brighter and cheerier.
Somehow I just CANNOT picture Bev as sitting in a retirement home someday thinking of all the "What if's" so many do when they can no longer get around like they used to do. She's going to be raising cain until her last breath and making people sorry to see her not around.
You might just be right about that. Lol
@@felicitycalf3479 hahaha. Yes!!!
I’m 58, and extremely intrigued with van life. You have a beautiful set up.
Being intrigued is how it all starts. Lol.
You don't look ,59 you look like your in your 40s like me 💙🙏💜☯️☮️🕉️♾️⚛️ love your videos always xx
Thank you Aaron, As always, you’re a sweetheart.
Even at 59 Bev has more going for her than many gals half her age and she can still raise men's blood pressure!
Thanks for popping over to check out my channel. I’m super happy with all of the upgrades. You’re very observant.
After watching maybe hundreds van converting on TH-cam, your van is the one of the best I like. Really good job 👍
Well, Thank you Bonnie.
I must have been off grid when this posted. Just love your van. They/you did such a good job with the layout. I love it that you show people it does not have to be a cluttered mess like so so so many vans in van life. Such a cozy little space. I LOVE IT.
Thank you. It’s such a small space but if it was dirty and cluttered it would drive me crazy
Cheers. 🌹
My dear Sun Seeker… Your message gave me the biggest smile this morning. Thank you fro sharing a part of your journey with me.
Love how you covered a lot of things It helped me to decide what I want and don't want
Thank you. Im glad you’re getting some clarity.
Absolutely love your van. Beautiful inside and out. I can see from your facial expressions how much you truly love van life. Wishing you the best.
Sometimes I’m surprised at how much I love my van. Wishing you the best right back.
Love the van and you are absolutely stunning! Your voice is a delight to listen!

Good for you we to have been in our van 7.5 years in Bulgaria at the moment it's wonderful wakeing to different places.keep going for how ever long you happy
Wow. You Two are professionals. I’m sure I could learn a lot from you. Happy travels
I know exactly how you feel about your space. I am still so in love with my camper. I could live in it i am sure. Love your videos .
Yes… Jocelyn you get it. Thank you youre sweet.
When you described your van is like a hotel room is quite an understatement. Because most hotels don't come with spectacular views like you get when you park in these scenic locations
You have a point.
What a wonderful personality you have! Glad I found your channel 🌻🤠🌻 Much love to you and your family from Alton Missouri 🌻 🤠
Awe… Thank you my fellow Missourian.
I love all of the embroidery on the outside of your van and all the fancy lace, decorative pillows, and the cool accents. Id love to see how it lights up at night. I bet it is heavenly. Bleach is my friend too! Lol. Looks wonderfully cozy in there! Ty for sharing.
It is so pretty at night. Thank you for your kind compliments.
Yes I have a shower and toilet envy. Lol I like that you’ve kept it vintage. That’s cool. Thanks for letting me have a little peak into your world.
Love this channel, love watching your videos Bev! You're a bright light and a great inspiration
Awe. Thank you. What a sweet thing to say.
love, Love, LOVE your insights and sharing your feelings. Thanks SO much
Thank you. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it
I love all the updates on the van.. you lead a very wonderful life.. I like the part where you said the whole country is your backyard!.. so COOL really.. Big Hugs my Missouri friend!
Big hugs back to you Dennis. Thanks for always watching.
As always another great video, thanks for sharing and be safe 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for taking the time to watch and for your kind words.
You did it at 59, I have to wait until 60, Good to see you out there enjoying life. Hope to see you in the future
I’m thinking there’s still plenty of life left to enjoy our adventures. I wish all the best.
Great tour! Lovely van! Lovely lady with a great attitude!! 👍🏻👍🏻🙂🙂🙂
Thank you Nikki. You’re sweet.
Hilarious! Well done with gaining your diving certificate. That mine looks amazing. 👍
It was a very cool experience
"My Tassle Game Is Strong!" Excellent!!🤣Excellent Video!
Lol my tassel game is strong. Thank you
Thank You 🙏 I’m 58 and I’ve wanted to convert my minivan and GO !! Thank You so much for sharing Blessings
you can do it! Start with what you have and do an easy build to start off with.
You have a great mobile home. Thank you for sharing this video. I got some ideas for my vw transporter. Good luck on your journey. 💪💪💪
Thank you…. Wishing you all the best.
You seem genuinely happy and it comes through. You're bedazzling game is strong LOL - loved it! Enjoy and continue to shine Bev
Haha. Yes it is. Right up there with my tassel game.
Great van and attitude. Have fun traveling and stay safe.
Thank you Kenneth.
I love watching van lifestyle and you one of the lucky one chance to do it.. everywhere you park is you backyard and that’s awesome.. some days imma do the same thing..Now I’m old is my chance to live and free be any places I wanna be!🥰😘👍
You’re so right. Sometimes I think about my life, and I think it’s now or never
I have me a van and I just paid it Off 2 years early and this is my dream is to be able to travel in my van. You such an inspiration to me
It is such an adventure. I have loved this chapter of my life. I wish you so many beautiful adventures.
Great tour Bev. I love all the frills but if you stayed in the windy desert for any amount of time even bleach would not keep everything clean and white. Your decorations are beautiful and well thought out.
Thank you Dee… I’m definitely doing laundry once a week. Lol.
I think you have the best of both worlds with a homebase and an RV. I’ll have to check out your channel. Thank you for the heads up
I turn 59 in a few weeks and this is my dream! I love what you have done with your van… stick with it girl… you have a Great spirit of adventure!
Awe… What a sweet comment. Thank you.
Good morning Bev! Really nice tour, first time I saw the birds and branches graphics, cool! I agree that less can be more, you show how it can be comfortable at the same time. Roll on!
Thank you Mark. Yes I usually show the other side of the van.
Hitting the road all starts with a big desire. Thank you for your sweet note and kind words.
I surfed at Surfside. The best break was at a place we called Octagons because of the house that marked where to paddle out. Decades later I'm living in Dallas and the local paper has a story about Surfside along with a picture of that beach house. Turns out we should have called it Hexagons ...
What a sweet walk down memory lane for you. Hope you’re doing well and settling in to your new home.
Peace.x
Hi Suzy, Welcome back.❤️ I think there’s something beautiful about living below your means. I think what you’re doing is brilliant.
