You nailed my recent decision 100%. Almost ordered the TRX4 Sport Kit, but in the end I wanted a licensed body of my choice, as well as my own wheels and tires. ElementRC did not make me pay for stuff I don't need and just offered the better package. Even if the performance of both kits is on a similar level.

Missed the best one. The SSD Trail King has all the advantages of the SCX10 and double the quality. Front scale motor/transmission, transverse battery, excellent shocks, and room for a complete interior. SCX10 compatibility combined with SSD quality, performance and support.
@@rccraft5900 i have build both and vs410pro gives you more easier build and a lot more aluminums no plastic axles and everything so smooth .the ssd kit not as smooth and to get it to compare of what u get with the vs410 pro u it will cost more.

Great list, I was a little surprised to see you put the Element #1. I know you like the Traxxas and it has done very well in all of the head to head matchups, so it should give people a good idea of how good the Enduro is. Thank you! In RTR form, the TRX-4 Sport wins. In kit form, the Element wins by a nose. That's because of better packaging, overdrive included and all the 'cons' are not present in the kit.
Don't overlook the SSD TrailKing... Not mainstream, but you're not about that, right??? AGREE with the Element - including that they SHOULD have included the upgrade Crossmembers and Shock Hoops!! 😲 SCX10 II Scale Builder's Kit - SOLID! Built it, LOVE it. Shocks SUCK!! But that TRX-4 Sport AGAIN..... Wow, you guys really love that Kit! I'm not saying anything in EITHER direction about it... great list! but you should have mentioned that the trx4 has the best drive train of them, I am one of the guys that traxxas left hanging with the bash brand switch and not a traxxas fan by any means but trx4 durability is crazy. And the fact that the element is an old style also with the center trans layout. ssd trail king and rc4wd tf2 should have had mention at the least? love your videos man keep em coming!
What I like is that I buy a kit, lets say SCX10, and modify it with my own ideas and custom made parts. You can do a lot with the gearbox putting it lower and tweaking the composition. Its fascinating how much you can improve it simple ways really.

I got the RTR Sendero and been happy with it since then, but yeah AE/Element RC should've included those hard plastic parts in the first place instead of selling them separately, though not really a bummer for its price.
Have you done a review of the 3 racing crawler kit or is it not worth considering? I'm looking at getting in to RC scale crawling currently saving for my first rig
The Element should not be number 1, with the “soft” plastic and the crappy pan-hard mount. And without any aftermarket aluminum option parts available. Its good, but its not number 1 yet.
I'd still buy the Sport kit over the Element. Just sell the body and rack and use the cash to by the Proline body of your choice and you will have a better all around truck.
Anyone know how to stiffen up an axial scx10ii frame? I was looking at getting a hots racing c channel frame for my truck but not sure if that would make my truck less bendy or if the metal is same thickness. Or if I just need to get metal center supports that are in between the frame rails. Any help would be appreciated.
so guys, what do you recommend: i am looking to buy either the vs4 10 pro or the trx 4 bronco. i don;t want the sport because i love the look of the bronco. but out of the 2 what are the pro's and the cons. does the trx4 comes with 3 link in the front? i have a pair of vs4 10 origin axles, and if i ever brake the axles on the trx 4 i would like to use those ones. out of the 2 which one has the better transmission and chassis? and why? thank you so much. the vs4 10 pro is crazy expensive and that body is ugly as fudge ( my opinion )
I have the trx-4 bronco and absolutely love it..it's virtually unbreakable..VERY well built..I'm in the process of removing the electric lockers and inner fenders..replacing them with trx-4 sport parts..you might consider a trx-4 sport kit and buy the bronco body?..just a suggestion..the vanquish is WAY overpriced in my opinion and not built as good as the trx-4..
I love the bronco! It won't disappoint you. 1970scout has a good point about the sport. I however like being able to switch the lockers. I do more trailing cruising than rock climbing and like being able to make the tighter turns and don't need the diffs locked all the time. The wheelwells help keep some of the trash out and I run the rock lights but they aren't necessary. So IMO It depends on what you are planning on doing with it most of the time on which way you should go.
For sure a good set of tires is 75$ plus even cheap beadlocks are like 45 that's not like vanquish that are 90, then another 50 for a body and add 20 for paints.
You have got to be kidding soft plastics put it way down the list the list should read #1TRX 4 followed by the Vanguish @#2 then the SCX10 at #3 then maybe the element and why even include the gen 8 there others better out there like the TFL bronco, sorry but you have lost me as a subscriber, I hope Element are paying a lot cos you have lost any credibility you had
The soft plastics are a minor issue and hardly detectable on the assembly kit by must buyers. Easily upgraded too for $30. Just because you disagree doesn't mean we're getting paid by Element RC. :)

The trx4 unassemble kit is crazy good. Did the free mods, changed the foams and lowered the cg and this thing will keep up with my class 3 wraith!
The Trx4 Sport is a great package. I've read some iffy reviews about the kit version, but it does interest me. What were the mods that you did please.

Im loving my element enduro kit. Just needs a few things and it will be good to go. Climbs well.
The SSD Trail King should be in the mix. I’d choose it over the Vanquish.
I think the ssd kit will be my next build.it is nice.

Buy carbon frame and alu support interconnections. Mine is super stiff.

the traxxas still kills, body and wheels/tires under 300, u will have to spend 100 for wheels, tires, body on the element...
