Well i can tell you this much....everyone still really wants PSA mags lol. I had the slicks, couldnt get em to run right. Bought the black finish, same story. Even with the fixes. Theyre now both out of stock. I re sold both sets on reddit in five minutes full price lol. Just lost out on shipping. That would was worth the experiment. Now i just run oem. Excellent video. You have some of the best mag videos out for the 43x.
@brandonewoldt2427 I've got 400 rounds through 2 of them and 0 failures 🤷♂️. I know that's not thousands but I'll get there eventually and doubt they will fail much if at all but to each their own, you carry 10 rounds I'll carry 15
I bought the palmetto arms mag for the Glock 43x mos and the only problem the slide will not stay open during empty mag I disassembled the mag Clean it and oil it lightly with a rag, now I have over 400 rounds through the Mag with zero issues.
Throw on a rapid engineering backstrap, and the 43X feels like a 1911. Throw in a PSA or SA mag, and now you have a 15rnd carry pistol that shoots like a full size.
So this is a re-release of a video that I made a long time ago. Also those excess arms extenders for the dagger micro magazines don't get the best reviews. Have you tried them out yourself?
I have both the shield mags and PSA Mags. On my 48 MOS shield mags runs flawlessly but jams on my 43x MOS. Switched 43x’s mag release to OEM and ran PSA MAGS with one failure to feed out of 200 rounds 🤷♂️
I've found that the PSA magazines fail to lock the slide back after they've been left loaded for an extended period of time. I contacted PSA and they sent out new mag springs, which fixed the problem, but these are the exact same mag springs. The original mag springs took a set and I believe this is the root cause of the problem, It's just too weak to activate the mag catch.
My s15 mags via a retailer was cheaper than the PSA. I just don't like the overmold and prefer a uniform material. My 3 Glock mags are in the case with its mag catch. I have 6 s15 mags....
I went with SIG (for now), I got the P365X with the +2 MagGuts making stock mag 14+1. Then I have the XMacro Mags which are 17+1. All OEM Mag structures (MagGuts uses different spring and follower). Love them both, with my XMacro being my Golden Gun.
Same here i rock the p365x with wc grip module and +2 from magguts but in the wekend il take the 43x out. I started having issues with my sa mags after 700rnds. And gave me trust issues. So i went back to stock mags. Il rock it with a +3 from tyrant and 2 extra mags
@@pitufealo123 My P365X is using the Armory Craft (OEM Modded) grip module with sniper grey finish. My XMacro is running the Gold TiN Barrel and FCU with Golden Bronze Armory Craft (OEM Modded) grip module, hency my 'Golden Gun'. 😆
I own 5 PSA mags (3 black finish, 2 micro slick finish) and have had 0 issues with my magazines. That doesn't mean other people haven't been as lucky. I did a multi part series about how to fix your PSA mags based off some viewer's feedback about issues they were having. It seems that the PSA mags are having less issues than Shield Arms magazines in general. My advice is to always test firearms and accessories extensively before using them for EDC. I normally put 1,000 rounds through a setup with 0 issues caused by the gear (ammo can be bad sometimes and that is not the gear's fault) before I consider the firearm or accessories acceptable as part of my EDC rotation.
Thank you! This is a rerelease of an older video I did. You shouldn't have gotten a notification about the video if you are a subscriber for my channel.
could not get each brand of magazine to not jam in my Glock 48. Both brands were the latest generations. the sheids were worse than the psa's. Glock mags I have never jam even once in 5 years. I wish someone could figure out what the spec difference is in pistols since some guns run fine and some do not with these magazines. I believe Glock knows which is why they never came out with a 15 round mag for the 48. And yes I tried the metal mag catch and stock plastic with no difference in malfunctions.
@@BigTimberLodge I've put about 50/100 rounds threw each no issues. A few of them went threw a "break in". The first few times the slide didn't lock back on a couple, but that stopped after a few uses.
Why do you need more rounds than the standard 10 if you can’t hit something with one or 2 rounds I think you might have some problems in a self defense situation just my opinion these micro 9mm are pretty much for a quick self defense situation I don’t know I was in the marine corps and we were tough one shot one kill if I think iam going to be in a gun fight situation I would probably not have a micro 9mm I would have one of my full size pistol just my opinion hope everyone has a great day stay safe Semper fi

The plastic front sold me I can run Glock backup mags with the psa
I really like that feature!
you can still run your oem mags with the metal mag catch on..only when the situation calls
For the love of god Glock come out with your own mag plzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glock did come out with magazines for the G43x and G48. They're 10 round magazines and they are readily available.
If they did then nobody would buy the G19

I see these comments all the time and never see it actually happen. I've seen one one video on TH-cam showing them fail
Same, I just run OEM now too 😒 I'd rather have a 99.99% run rate, vs a 50/50 (maybe it will, maybe it won't) extra 5 rounds 😅

Interesting observation. I have heard the mags either work or they don't. I will have to try my mags out at the range to see if they still work
I have 5 Gen 3 S15 I have never had an issue not up to 5000 rounds but have heard stories.
