  • Project Clean Street Food | FSSAI
To upgrade existing food streets across the country and provide safe & hygienic local eating experiences for consumers, FSSAI with the support of state government bodies has framed benchmarks for hygiene and sanitary conditions under the “Clean Street Food Hub” initiative.
Large scale training and capacity building of street food vendors would be an integral part of this pillar to:
    · Ensure health, hygiene and safety standard of street food for all consumers.
    · Ensure social and economic upliftment of street vendor community by helping them in improving quality of offerings thereby attracting more customers.
    · Enhance the popularity of Street food by transforming it into a global brand by itself.

    Dear FSSAI ,

Many bakery items in many small cities are not tested and also are not having any manufacturing , best before dates , nor FSSAI licence no. , kindly do stop them and inspect strictly such loose eatables should not be made available in market without licence and proper norms , focus on small cities of Maharashtra. And also inform people how to complain to FSSAI about these. Foods should be SAFEST!!

There should also be some replacements made in the basic ingredients used like using whole grains flour in place of refined flour
