    Had a similar experience, in a hammock, pitch black, heard step, step, step, then something like a big stick hitting the ground. Continuously getting closer. I had the 1000 lumen bike light hanging on my runner, it was fully charged. I figured I would wait till it got close enough that I was almost shitting my pants, then hit the light on. It was 30 feet away, when I hit the light. When the light came on, I could see a bush, with 2 eyes in it. The eyes dropped lower, then moved back and forth, like it was trying to get out of the light. I figured it was a buck, challenging me. Not to force it further, I shut of the light. It took off fast, I mean really fast, in like 5 steps it sounded like it was a mile away. It got quite, I went to sleep. I figure it was a deer, but I was surprised I could only see the eyes. The bush it was behind was thin, and easy to see through.

    I'm a retired Police Officer with 26 years on the job.
    I don't believe a word you're saying because you're much too calm about the incidents, you never showed the side of the camper that was allegedly hit, and the memory chip being "accidentally" left out of your camera.
    The stomping around sounded like someone thumping the ground with the end of a log.
    I'm pretty brave and I'm always armed with a handgun but after the first two nights, I would have pulled up my tent pegs and SPLIT!!!!
    Sorry but I don't believe a word of it!!!

    FYI...studies have been done with Bonobos, Chimpanzees, and Gorilla with trail cams and they all notice them immediately and once noticed, they avoid them- or any other unusual object, so a trail cam is not necessarily helpful.

    A few questions: 1) Did you look at the exterior of the trailer to see if there was any damage or other evidence of the 'hit'? 2) Was BF on your radar before any/all of this? Did you ever give him/the phenomenon any thought?

    • @youcandoit4787
      @youcandoit4787  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think I'll put it in the next video. There was paint missing where I assumed it hit, but there is no way it could have knocked the paint off, so I am assuming it was there already. I hit the spot myself, and my trailer flexes i.e. it bends in then back out. There was nothing around the front like a rock or tree branch or anything, I was hoping for a handprint, but couldn't see anything. 2) Yes I have been putting audio recorders out for about 7 or 8 years now whenever I camp.

    This is my first time ever watching one of your videos. I really like the monologues and the videography. It's got that genuine homemade quality to it. I really want to follow you and I haven't seen any other videos of yours yet but I will say watching your video with audio is almost impossible the sound is so loud it drowns out your voice.
    I hope you don't take this as a negative comment because I really am interested in following your story here but if I'm being perfectly honest with you I almost don't want to hit the follow button because the audio was so bad. I am going to finish your video to give it a chance but I got to tell you muting the audio everytime you go for a walk just to make it through the video is kind of a drag...
    I hope u can fix that it would make your channel much more enjoyable to watch.. again please don't take my comment as negative but take it as constructive criticism..

    Just curious if you were alone why do you have two camping chairs next to the fire?

    • @thecrafthawg6645
      @thecrafthawg6645 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To make it look like you are not camping alone. Many campers do that.

    • @wheelhousecrouse
      @wheelhousecrouse 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thecrafthawg6645 doesn't make sense to me. If we all say Bigfoot is an intelligent of a creature as we do they would see only one person ever around camp. Two chairs to me seems like a video mistake. I watch many of these videos and look at the smallest details. Great audio I am not arguing but the proof is in the pudding. Why two chairs? The fact the poster hasn't posting a response in a year is suspect to me........

    Were ever you have your microphone you need to move it because you have to much noise when walking great videos etc but that noise ruins it in my opinion 😉 I think it's making that noise because on a shadow of you looked like it was dragging on the floor next time sort it out please otherwise would have been a good video 📹

    First time visitor. Sadly, the admitted poor mic made the viewing excruciatingly hard to enjoy. I did not make it all the way through. Buy a dedicated mic and I might be back. ✌️

      M. Gonz If you skip ahead to about 15:28, it gets to the quieter, more interesting part. That was worth it until the end. It was very objectionable for the first half. I almost stopped watching also.

    I tried to watch it but the scraping sound was just to annoying and loud, couldn't hear much of anything you were saying. I had to just skip to 15:40, I haven't tried that yet, I sure hope the annoying scraping sound is gone where I can hear the important stuff!

    How come when people see them , there running away or peeking from behind trees or what ever . never seem to hurt any one. If they where real. People are basically afraid of the dark. See people out camping and act just like you. Besides your out there looking for them and when you find some thing that might be them , you run away and hide. That's crazy.

    #1. Your mic rubbing on whatever it's rubbing against or something loose..its horrible. #2. Please tell me that your not that stupid to be out there with no firearm? I didnt even see bear spray on you? Please tell me your not that naive? It's people like me who will have to come out, find your body, and drag it back to civilization when you dont come home because you didnt take the necessary steps to protect yourself out in the wild. Great video otherwise.
