    I absolutely love watching your camping trip whether there is activity daily or not. I do hope you will keep this up. Been searching for a simple video camping series just like this so keep up the good work. I can't do it on my own but I sure enjoy watching your adventure. T😊hanks and keep it up.

    Love your videos, you are nice to listen to; you don’t talk too much and you are peaceful and that is very nice.

    👍 You should try placing some apples about ten feet up in some of the trees around the perimeter of your campsite and see if they are taken during the night.

    I was wondering how much the night vision outfit was, what brand and where you got it. We had an experience in Pennsylvania- (northern bucks county) while camping. We want to be ready for next time.
    Cant wait for your next videos. You are brave to go alone. This is something I want to do j yt st for my own curiosity. I know they are real.

      It was a walmart special lol. $200. I decided to get it on short notice (before my trip) and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I guess I can't complain, for the price it did well. the focus is a little tricky. Its a xanb30 Xvision. I don't feel like I am knowledgeable on night vision, so....... My suggestion if you do get the night vision, wait until you hear something before you use it. Who knows if they can see it, I didn't see anything using it except for the first time I picked it up and pointed it in the direction of the noise.

      @@youcandoit4787 thanks for the reply. I thought the video from the night vision was more than acceptable. Good price, really. I am not looking to spend a great deal (who is nowadays!). I have a drone, a great Nikon DSLR (photos and video) camera, my note 10+ (a plethora of old smartphones, actually), and a voice recorder. all I really need is night vision, and maybe an extra dedicated video cam. A trail cam would be nice, but I think I have enough. With the advent of technology, Sasquatch being a reality has become quite apparent, plus there are far too many similar stories for this to be fake. The government (or the powers that be) is duping us. Watch youtuber Steve Isdahl on his channel "howtohunt". I think Steve is straight forward in his thinking. We really dont need proof, we have it. We need the "why" of why there is no truth from the authorities and the military. Also, David Paulides and his "missing 411" is quite interesting. I am in the northeast, I believe Sasquatch has been squeezed out into the open by our own overpopulation. He migrates along the Appalachian Trail without a doublt. Our encounter was not very far from it. Bears dont throw huge logs into your camp at 2am. They dont woodknock. Humans would have had a hard time being so silent in the thick brush around us. We were the only campers that week. Sasquatch is real, they are people, not fully human but a people. I hope they dont hate us.

    Here is a suggestion so that you do not have to listen to 12 hours of audio... download Audacity, it is a free audio program, and you can 'look' at the audio, and go to specific spikes to listen to them. That way you do not just listen to nothing. You can also edit, label the audio spikes, etc. In fact, you can look at the audio in spectrograph view among lots of other things. Very handy.

    • @youcandoit4787
      @youcandoit4787  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use Audacity when I download the audio to my computer. I like to listen to it all I am afraid I'll miss something or it won't show up as a spike on Audacity. I also like to just plug in my headphones to my recorder and be able to walk around and do things while I listen like cleaning or something. I didn't realize you could label the spikes, I'll have to look into that. Thanks

    • @glennnorbergDONOTUSE
      @glennnorbergDONOTUSE 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, when I look at my audio I look at the spikes 1st and then work my way down. I totally agree, listening to these subtlest stuff is important, but I get impatient and go for the spikes first. 😆 That way I avoid listening to hours of the ambient. Great job on the videos BTW.

    Ungulates are attracted to some plastics and rubber. It's why they chew coated wires. I cant remember which ingredient it is that attracts them, just that it does.

    Great outting . I've said this to others , be careful what you wish for . Can't wait to see the rest of it . It can change the way you look at the great outdoors . It's a shame to see all the deadfall and standing dead trees on that hillside when you zoom in on it . Wildfire just waiting to happen . When solo like that , think about some form of protection , even just a can of good bear or pepper spray and a sat phone or an in reach device . And that scat pile you found in previous vid looked canine , are you in wolf country ?

    • @youcandoit4787
      @youcandoit4787  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I didn't see anything like that, although in the past (years ago) I swear I saw evidence of track covering. It is pretty hard-packed ground around where I was camped, and I had an elk come into camp for 45 minutes and tromp around, and I didn't see evidence of it except a couple of tracks before it reached the main camp area. But this isn't a joke, the morning of day 5 I saw a fresh pine tree limb in my camp. At the time I thought it was strange, and I pondered it for a minute, but then I put it off as a squirrel clipping. I hadn't thought about it until you just said this. There is a clear view of it in the final day video I am making right now, I don't point it out or anything, but it was always in the back of my mind as new. Hmm interesting, I had not thought of that.

      @@youcandoit4787 Well, I believe that we are dealing with a real flesh and blood animal. Something that is perhaps smarter than a dog, with the sences of a wild animal, can see well at night, keen sence of smell, and hearing. I suspect they will see, smell, or hear us long before we notice them. They are timid, but teritorial and can be agressive when threatened. They have, like all animals to keep their distance from humans. I can speculate that perhaps they have learned to conceal their footprints, in an effort to remain hidden? Otters use tools, beavers build dams? Primates use tools as well, some primates have been taought sign language? Could a Sasquatch in the wild adapt concealment techniques?

    You know if you watch a trail cam from a night you will see a dozen or more animals and animals make noises at night its not always something sinister and deer and elk love to knock their antlers on trees. Now if you get pinecones or rocks thrown into your area at night short of human i dont know what to tell you? And screams and whoops if its not bobcats, mountain lions or elk i would invest in a gun. Well keep the videos coming and stay safe
