The project is fresh and nicely executed. The architect has used paint brush with colours to explain his design rather than usual sketchpens which is impressive. Also he has beautifully blended his knowldege of interior designing and landscaping. Another aspect I liked is his sense of adequate indoor lighting and the use of natural light which I find missing in many projects. Overall, it is inspirational and a great effort.
Brilliant & in just ~5000 Sq ft. Plot its a marvellous project.... The best feature was the green aspect of the design to bring in a lot of plants into the house yet not sacrificing the design or space.... Kudos to the Architect...

I guess, this house is not 100% vaastu compliant, kitchen is placed on Western side, supposed 2 b on agneyam.....otherwise its my dream home.... stunning feature is green aspect at evry floor... im looking forward more plans hiren sir like dis without compromising on vaastu....im really touched @ the architecture... thnks..

I think the architect has done a wonderful job in accommodating the client needs and the execution of the same... It looks well planned, open, purposeful and above all sophisticated .
I like the colour pallet of the furnishing as well as ensuring greens are brought indoors as well as out doors with enough outdoor spaces.
I have saved this one as one of my favourite designs and will be in touch with this architect once I am ready to rebuild my house

Bamboo is notorious for its growth and with its roots spreading albeit about 12 inches (shallow) ... hope you have taken account of it. Love your work though!

Just want to understand, in the description it's mentioned that the cost is around 4000-5000 per sq.ft. What I never understand is does that include everything... Like material, interior furnishings etc..? The the furniture displayed that is in addition to the cost mentioned ?... Can someone guide please. thank you

Im never going out if i owned this house
Mr. Patel, your ideas are amazing..this house and also the one you did for family of 3 in Ahmedabad. Especially double height element somewhere in the house. Few queries:
1. Double height rooms does not have fan..is it because of central AC?
2. Cost of project also includes interiors?
3. What would be per annum maintainance cost (if any)

This house has double height volume in 2 areas . 1- in veranda which is non Ac
2- first floor veranda kind of living space which can be closed with sliding doors . This has air con if needed in hot summer . This area is quite good in Nair big and evening and comfortable without fan due to openness and cross ventilation.
Cost mentioned includes cost of interior and landscaping both
The annual maintenance does not require huge cost . Compare any vehicles and how do we spend for its maintenance. We shall also maintain the house similar way to have longer and better life of the building

What about materials he use on facade..
The funny thing about design is that something that looks crumbled in small space, becomes elegant in bigger scale.
I hope it comes with some sort of fumigation plans. Mosquitos paradise.

I have been using planters from Luxaire! They have many collections of planters. So, you should check them out!

With due respect to the architect, i think water color isn't a media for quick presentation like this type of videos and i think the architect is bit lazy as he didn't draw the 2nd floor rather he mess the 1st floor plan.
Overall his work is good i guess :)
Dear Gourav, for me doing a water colour of plan is a bit like doing a painting. Overlapping 2 plans was an idea continue the 1 st floor journey to 2 Nd floor . I used lots of water colours in my design process, so I thought it will be a good idea to explain through that media .

Yes you can get beautiful pendant lights from Luxaire! I also have been using Luxaire's pendant lighting for 2 years now.

Use of wood in ceiling and keeping the flooring of a darker shade makes the area look dull and defeats the very purpose of "bringing in the natural light" from outside to make it well light.

@ Buildofy This is a request from majority of subscribers: please show a full video with sound, little or no music along with the architect'/(s)' sketches and explanations. It's very annoying and dull to watch with just a few pictures of the home and majority of video being focused on architect's sketches and explanations rather than view of the creation as a whole. Good example is the video of the home of Architect Nitin Killawala. THAT is what subscribers and viewers want to see and listen to in that fashion! Please change your format of your presentation to that only or closer towards that style which is more appealing and watchable. Thanks.
