You linkedin video is by far the best, because you show it properly, how to do all the steps. And you have the best advice about how to navigate yourself professionally on Linkedin
I was just telling my sister this morning that I had no clue of using my Linkedin profile or looking for a job through Linkedin, she was insisting on working on it since from her last two jobs they got in contact with her through this platform. Thank you for these tips Marat!
I recently updated my LinkedIn profile, and within a few weeks I got a couple of leads for my business. It really is worth it to spend some time improving your profile!
Thank you so much, Jennifer! For your kind feedback :) I am glad it served for your profile set up. Hope you start seeing the leads very soon! Have a good weekend.

Thanks very much - the LinkedIn explanation of viewing Profile Strength Meter was almost useless since it said to look for a "meter" which to me meant literally analog meter (i.e. a dial with a needle) or a digital meter - seeing your description of the dashboard made it simple to figure out what to look for in my case.
It's true that LinkedIn description is quite confusing, unless you've already come across the feature a few times and know where to locate it. You are very welcome! I am pleased to hear that it was helpful :) Good luck with your LinkedIn profile, hope it turns fruitful very soon!

I get so much value from your videos. I’m trying to figure out a way to differ and change my primary occupation from my side hustle on Linkedin without confusing people with totally unrelated posts. Do you think I should make two profiles?
This has already been asked before and I think, yes, you could try making two profiles. As long as you can complete them and manage to keep up with both.
It was a really helpful video and explained in simple words. Nice informative and helpful. I will surely update my profile as per your recommendations. Thanks a lot

LinkedIn is a MUST when it comes to finding a new job, networking or improving the quality of your career in general. What is your LinkedIn profile? Which are the challenges for you while using LinkedIn?
The way you explain is really easy to understand. Maybe you could modulate your speech a bit but that’s since i take public speaking classes and I am picky about it.Thanks for making this video. This gonna surely help a lot of people.
Thanks for all of this content in one useful TH-cam. I will probably need to watch it a few times to catch all of the great help as I practice on my account, but these are very helpful tools and all the 7 tips are really covering a lot of aspects
Really helpful information! 2 quick questions: 1. What's your take of turning on 'career interests'? It says won't show it to current companies, colleagues, yet not sure about the potential 'risks'; 2. Activate premium member: does this give you better chance being viewed/connected by recruiter, or maybe they prefer not to view your profile, as they cannot do it anonymously anymore? Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the feedback! :) In regards to your questions: 1. Activating this feature will increase your visibility in searches, but it doesn't mean getting contacted for relevant and attractive to you positions. The risks are there also, since you would appear as "open to opportunities" to recruiters who are not at your organization. But if anyone at your company hasn't updated their LinkedIn to a current role, they would also see you. I would recommend this feature for less experienced professionals, who just look into switching jobs but don't have particular interests in a certain role or company. 2. If you activate "Premium" it isn't going to influence the anonymous views, they will still be shown as anonymous. But you'd be able to view the whole list of your profile viewers (if they are visible) instead of only the last 5 which the free profile shows. If you want to get in touch with recruiters yourself then the premium option would be worth it, since you would be able to send "inMails" to anyone.
@@myemmotion Thank you for the response! 1. I was earlier under the assumption that the 'career interest' could actually help potential recruiters identify you (as it allows you to select specific roles you're interested in), yet what you said do make sense to me. I guess it is indeed possible that someone from the company with a new recruiter account could look you up and see what your 'career interests' are and it is the risk that comes with it unfortunately. 2. It seems like the 'Premium' allows you to view more visiting history/reach out to more people, but not going to help me stand out in recruiter's searching results? Maybe something like my profile would appear in the 2nd page of searching results without premium, but maybe would show in the first page if with premium.
@@daviddeparis3852 Got it, thanks for sharing your experience! Indeed your account would have more junk offers once you switch to open, but does it bring you more legit opportunities, meaning do you feel like switching to open is worth it? You previous comment sounds like your answer may incline to not worth it, just curious.
@L L If you check the description made by LinkedIn of “Career Interests”, it’s exactly the same as “open to opportunties”. www.linkedin.com/help/recruiter/answer/67406/viewing-candidates-who-are-open-to-new-opportunities-in-recruiter?lang=en And regarding a Premium account, you can try it for free during one month. And you should. So you could check all the features for yourself. It definitely increases your visibility but it wouldn’t get you a job, unless you actively look for it at the same time. Hope it helps :)
Excellent 👌 really useful.. I have a question, probably you may answer.... I am living in India and am looking for a job in abroad for example - Canada, USA, Europe and Australia. So, in reality is it possible to get a job in abroad from India?
Thank you very much for your feedback! Regarding the question, you can look for a job abroad but keep in mind that the vast majority of companies would require a work permit for you to be considered as a potential candidate. Years ago it was easier, because some companies helped with visa and work permit paperwork, but nowadays it's complicated.

I used open to opportunities and got a lot of junk offers
@L L If you check the description made by LinkedIn of “Career Interests”, it’s exactly the same as “open to opportunties”. www.linkedin.com/help/recruiter/answer/67406/viewing-candidates-who-are-open-to-new-opportunities-in-recruiter?lang=en
And regarding a Premium account, you can try it for free during one month.

I was wondering about this too, how can I search for a job abroad
@@emmsummer7811 You can search for a job abroad as long as you can work legally in that country.
