That can absolutely be the correct play as it allows you to give up a base that is being sieged while counter-attacking. Else losing the base can put you even or even behind when there is no need for that.
I like what the last guy was doing with the adepts, using them as a cheap way to keep your gateway units running around the map while he teched up to disruptors and archons

The minerals will mostly go towards your immortals and gas will go towards your sentries. You can constantly produce 1 or 2 robos with 3 gates on 2 base.

I have a 2base, 1 gas zealot all in cheese, at 5 min you have 21 zealot, 7 gates, charge, a prisme in the main base. very good against Z So if you are interested, im here ! (idk if it work on high lvl im diamond)
I think its a known build, you're supposed to hit with an immortal I think and pull off gas. The counter is if the zerg knows its coming they build spines. You then need to focus spines with immortal and maybe dodge spine shots with warp prism lift? Im not too sure.

This last game, can you check the replay, oracle movement ? I think his plays don't make sense to harstem, because he plays reactive. Looks like maphack to me, also it feels like his actions don't match his mmr. Or do i just suck?

Often when I hear you read patch notes any toss buff is followed by a nerf and i hear you say oh that's still playable not understanding that the objective is to balance to parity and not play from a disadvantage and try to makeup the diff. The last few patches have been incognito terran buffs, somehow the cyclone comes on top, and upgrades are cheaper. This is why proplayers shouldn't balance the game bc they're delusional about their own skillset and viewing the results objectively. Like instead of brain dead terrans building a raven with their bio armies the infestor gets nerfed??? Make it make sense. And the reason the game gets balanced this way is bc of hero syndrome most casuals relate to the human terran units and want to be the terran white knights that win against the other 'evil races and save the day,' thus winning the big tournies. So a T vs X is the most desirable outcome in attempts to grow the game.
