Love the 308, especially the QV, I would swap my 348GTB for one in a heartbeat!! Nice presentation with excellent research. I also believe post 1983 Ferrari started rust treating their cars, so this makes the QV quite desirable for that reason too......
Replacing the fuel filler hose, which can crack, leak, and catch fire is a good preventative measure. Also, replacing the fuse block with an updated version is another good idea, as the original fuse block tends to melt.
I bet this thing drives miles better on the original smaller wheels and narrower tyres. Big wheels and tyres almost always kill feedback and fun levels. ANd there's no way it's more 'comfortable' on bigger wheels with lower profile tyres!
There was a 2 litre version for Italy and some export markets due to taxes on the higher cc machines. Great video!! New subscriber from Guyana South America.
This 1982-83 GTBi QV has the engine cover extend all the way back so that there are no vents or louvers behind it. The 1984-85 GTBi QV has a smaller engine cover, and there are louvers/vents behind it.
Great post as usual, haven’t watched in a while I’m probably in the minority and that’s fine, however hate red for most Ferrari’s. Typical and boring for me. Think it’s too bad it’s no longer silver and that’s usually a great color for any car. Personal favorite car color is white variations and most Ferrari’s look great in white ❤️
Point with metric Michelin TRX wheels was they have wider tire contact patch width to wheel width ratio than normal inch sized wheel and tire combo. It didn't catch on and now they are just expensive oddity.
lots of bull shit info you are saying about factory tires on a Ferrari. Every Ferrari comes with the best set up for the model they release, just like any American muscle car manufacturer. Upgrades come afterwards!
My favorite Ferrari 👍
One of the best auto enthusiasts shows out there!! Colleen, you are a great presenter -

Ho tanta nostalgia peccato perché non capisco, complimenti
I love this car! ❤️🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷😷😷😷😷👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great video, iconic car 😍 when did they add the fender shields, as far as I am aware it was not an option available on the 308?
Lots of people stuck fender shields on their cars, just stickers.
Thanks! I would take them off, go back to the original vision of this beautifully designed car 😎
Great post as usual, haven’t watched in a while

17:38 -328- 😳
308 😉
Too many cars they get mixed up lol. Im pretty sure we did a 308 and 328 video that day.
Now I want to go drive my 308 QV. Too bad it is hot hot hot out.
If you drive faster it will be cooler.
Is that car legal in California?
😎👍🏽
8:04 to 8:18 - do not coast to a halt with the car in neutral. Put it in the appropriate gear.
I know it’s “ferraris” online but why don’t you do something on that beautiful Lancia in the background.
We did. Theres a video on it and we no longer have it.
@@FerrarisOnline noooooooooooooo
I’ll have to look it up. 😎
The first qv s are lower in seat
Wow I didn't know that. The problem with the original cars are the fit for a tall person.

Shame it’s not automatic transmission… I can only drive auto. Great car.
