It is a incredible radio! I have got the pleasure of playing with two of them this week and I have about six hours total on mine. That’s very weird with the cropped model files in sleep mode. I keep mine in sleep mode and have not had a problem as well as another one I was playing with. I’ll keep. Look out for that!

@@westhobbiesrc8051 Yes did all that and I get rpm and receiver volts but no esc data. I even updated firmware on esc and receiver. One thing i notice in live log in brain app it doesnt show esc volts or amps. Should it?

Always appreciate the fantastic, in-depth reviews! I have a NX10SE, but am really intrigued by the upgraded programming experience that the iX14 provides. Since I have yet to get my hands on an iX14, I was hoping to get your thoughts on the gimbals as they compare to the machined aluminum gimbals on the NX10SE. I believe they're both Hall Effect so I recognize this is more of personal preference, but was curious to hear your take on how they might compare, and if there are significant advantages of one over the other? I will say, I'm a pinch-hybrid flyer as well, so really like the shifted stick position with the iX14!
Thank you! I’m glad the videos and channel is helpful and you enjoy it! So I have not held a NX10SE (just a NX8/10) so I can’t say how the gimbals feel compared to the IX14. But the only difference between the NX10SE and IX14 gimbals is the 10SE is aluminum and the IX14 is not. Both are Hall effect. The IX14 gambles are very smooth and precise. The IX4 radio feels way better then the NX series and the programming is night and day easier and better on the IX14.
I have the NX10 and currently find no real reason to update to iX14. Of course the iX14 is very appealing with the nice graphical user interface. But for configuring or flying, there is no difference between at all.

I'm bummed they cost so much. Just now almost mastering my NX-8, and now see touch screen? COOL! But still, that's a serious chunk of change for a radio. I see some of these newer, smaller, kinda game controller looking radios, and think that's kinda what I'll wait for. In hopes Spektrum will come out with something like that soon. The 'younger generation' and all the video games they play will make our older guy's big fat radios obsolete soon enough.
