He would need a very good day to catch her obviously. Vadeni was beaten by both in different races and his fairly special too!
Excellent ride … all the very best 🎉❤
A Brilliant Effort from The Whole Team and Not Forgetting, The Horse Alpinista, and I was There, to Witness, This Fairytale....
Well done Alpinista...Hit the trifecta...
Torquato Tasso very nearly got there..Excellent race.
@@scottjones5455 Fully agree, excellent performance, especially with the 18th, very proud!❤
@@scottjones5455 He ran a great race.
Top mares love this race traveled beautifully and strongly. Old luke Morris pulled the trigger at the perfect moment .
Absolutly brilliant alphinista
She was the best and won well.
My pick Vadeni DID not do bad was close 2nd.
Vadeni ran a fantastic race.
Bold one here- but if Alpinista and Torquator tasso’s had the draws switched, their positions would have swapped.
totally true. He ran a brave race given his draw. He was very fast in the end, he could have easily won his 2nd Arc.
Her emotion at the end. How I was when Kalanisi ran the greatest race ever seen by man in the Breeders Cup Turf 2000. NOW UPLOAD A REMASTERED VERSION.
Winning the arc on ground he doesn't like, gutsy as hell, terrific job by all connections, Luke Morris, outstanding, my European horse of the year.
Gran cavallo e che se ne dica di Luke Morris monta perfetta anche se si vedeva a metà retta che aveva in mano un treno
Great race !!!
Great win for alpinista! Vadeni would of won on better ground I think. Torcasso did well only horse from high draw in first seven.
I'm amazed how well Vadeni ran on this ground. I thought he would be closer to last than first.
@@rivergold4835 I was more worried about the trip 1m4f. Might be retired now for breeding after winning french derby and eclipse👍
@@MB-zm8lc I wouldn't be surprised to see them give him a chance in the champion depending on how he comes out of the race,
@@MB-zm8lc They might retire him. His highness the Aga Khan is in the home straight, why not keep him in training as a 4 year old?. He should enjoy what years he has left watching
outstanding racehorses on the track.
@@nightowl7459 champion might be a bit soon, what about breeders cup turf? Get better ground there and no baaeed!
Wow!!!!!!!
What a race!!!!!!!
The top 3 are all SUPERB horses!!!!!!!
Gutsy mate very good
Thank you for seeing the first achievement in 85 years at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Thanks to ALPINISTA.
What a ride from luke Morris horse is a machine wins on any ground glad I took antepost at 7s 👌🏼
The Lady is a CHAMP!!!!
magic moment!
alpinista was class! the best horse win no doubt. I'm a bit pissed Aidan didn't take out Luxembourg on that ground. now he's picked up an injury and will never be the same horse again
Think he was going for place money at best just remember it costs the owners money to supplement it so if they take it out that's money wasted so they probably wanted place money at best
She certainly has a smooth stride with good timing of steps, …her jockey did a great job to help her to move at just the right time in order to take over the lead and not allow enough time for anyone to catch her. Wow! 👍👍
Well Done Alphanista...n Sir Mark Presscot n his teams...👍👍👍
Being out of a Hernando mare she was always going to love the soft ground, Hernando's love the soft over the jumps.
Va invicta desde el 2020 no conoce la derrota está yegua fenomenal
buzzing for Luke Morris
Morris show a masterclass
Sir Mark - She won the Arc, Sir Mark - She won the Arc! Eeeyai addio - Sir Mark - She won the Arc!
I just could not see her wining having been ridden out to beat Tuesday last time out. I was very wrong.
She beat Tuesday comfortably. The Yorkshire Oaks was a slow and messy race.
Well deserved win for Luke Morris
Settled front 3rd of the field, never worst than 6th, stayed in touch. Good ride on the best horse.
That was some ride by the lad -just had her in the right place all the way round -made it look easy which it was;t but that's the sign of a great ride - Incredible to see a mare like this just keep improving -a bit like Mark Prescott
Absolutely tremendous 😍🐴🐎😃💞😁🌲 Congratulations to Luke and all, Luke is my jockey been following him since he started racing, Love you Luke, Look forward to seeing you at the races again. peace and love to everyone. thank you universe. Thank you Luke 🌲😁💞😃🐴😍😀👽🌌🛸♾️♾️🫂🫂💫🥰🧝♀️🦄👁🧿✨️☘️🤗😁😁😁😁💞
Love this horse, been following it for along time, and pleased as punch it won, not just for my own pocket, but for the owner, the trainer down to the girl who looks after the horse - Alpinista cemented her name in horse racing history on the back of her 6 group one;s in a row wins, culminating in the Qatat Prix de l'Ark de Triomphe, but just hope this is not her swansong, she's at the top of her game, and possibly go on to emulate Enable in the breeders Cup double.
Please bring the glorious Alpinista to America for the BC. We need something fine and beautiful to cheer for in these dark times...
It's possible. I believe the owner and trainer are considering the Breeders Cup Turf or the Japan Cup.
Class performance from Alpinista ..dont give up on Vadeni though ! He finished like a train
Stayed on well, did not finish like a train.
@@countbelalucozade another 50yds he wouldve won the race ..lie down will ya
@@irlgman3566 That's your losing betting slip talking. Better luck next year.
A wonderful race and delighted for the winning Horse, jockey, trainer and connections. One question: The Japanese consistently bring their best horses to the Arc and yet regularly ride races that are completely unsuited to the conditions. Titleholder was ridden like a pacemaker rather than a proper favourite. Why make the journey and then throw it away with poor tactics time after time?
They keep treating the Arc like if it was one of their Races. Their style might work in America, Hong Kong and even some British courses but they won't work at Longchamp.
It seems to be a dream of the Japanese horse racing world. I'll try again next year. Don't learn.
The Draw won it. If last year's winner had her draw and she his places reverse. That's racing.
So if baaeed wins the champion stakes(assuming he will)...who would be horse of the year alpinista or baaeed???🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Baaeed will still be voted Horse of the Year even if he loses in the Champion Stakes , which of course is his for the taking , cant see Adayar beating it over a trip too short for him
@@44sledge ok but alpinista just won her 8th in a row including 5 group 1s and she just won a race where baaeed ducked...she still has a chance imo
@@kourtlandperry1698 Alpinista wins 3 Group 1's this year , Baaeed already won 4 Group 1's ,. maybe wrong , but I am sure at tha Cartier Awards , They will make Baaeed Horse of the Year . Wont be the only award he wins , Top Miler as well .
@@44sledge she also won 2 group 1s last year coming into this year...
Baaeed is in a different parish to Alpinista. Horse of the year though is a toss up between Flightline and Baaeed.
wt a ride well done the whole team
To all the naysayers that didn't believe in Alpinista. Politely... Take that!
What a horse last 8 races - 11111111
Grande Alpinista 🐎👍
Unfussy ride. Sat just off the pace and kicked hard at just the right time. Mare overcame some concerning stats. Prescott will sleep well tonight.
