We have a Karen neighbor. She's absolutely nuts!
She causes a lot of problems. Fortunately, she's moving soon. It will be a huge relief for us. I don't know (or want to know) where she's going, but I pity her new neighbors.

No, because she didn't lie or file a false police report. It's just a really unfortunate situation. All you can do is spread the word around town that Jane Doe (or whatever her real name is) is the "Karen" behind this story, and hopefully no one will want to associate with her.

What? 10 year old children can’t walk home from school in-escorted? It was typical for me to walk home at 9 years old. 3~4 miles takes about hour and a half. I guess time have changed. But still in rural Georgia, it’s farm community and everyone knows everyone and it’s safe. Karens

GOOD LORD. I also grew up in rural Georgia (1960's) It was a half a mile (Dad clocked it once in his Buick) from where the bus picked me up in the morning and dropped me off in the afternoon, to our house. If it rained...I got wet. If it was hot, I sweated like a prostitute in church. A couple packs of beef jerky, and soon, every dog along the way, quit barking and accepted me. Today, they would call it child abuse.
    Insanity.

One, never open the door unless you have a second glass door between you and them. Two, don’t answer questions. Better yet, just don’t answer the door. If they have a case, then they have a warrant, if they don’t, they won’t. Then it is just a fishing expedition.

48 years ago, I was walking to school, the store and to friends house when I was 10, uphill, in the snow both ways. Technology is to blame for a lot of things nowadays, because back then, if something like a kidnapping or murder wasn’t in your state, you never heard about it. Now with our technology, we know if a mouse farts in Commifornia, it’s breaking news in Ga. Everyone translates what happened there to happen where they live.

Worse than that, the Fannin county deputy gave the kid a ride home, confronted his mom (Britney Patterson), chastised her, then left. Returned later that evening and arrested her for child endangerment in front of her kids, booked her for suspicion of reckless conduct, released her on $500 bond. They say they would drop the charges if she would sign a safety plan, which includes a tracking device on her son’s phone. She is fighting the charges.

Thats not a Karen, if they charged her with something, it was more then 11 year old walking to the store.
This is also a dangrous view point to hold, calling someone a karen for reporting child endangerment means that some people will be less likely to call when a child is in danger because they might be put on blast
