- iRacing's first foray into console gaming is a resounding success. After purchasing Monster Games, the simulation platform has published a brand new official game for the World of Outlaws series - a real-world, American, dirt oval racing championship. It's available right now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. It is not available on PC.
While it lacks all of the cars, tracks, drivers and teams of the competition, it bulks up the line-up through a mix of authentic and fictional, plus a non-linear career mode. There's also online (not cross-platform) and split-screen multiplayer. But, more than specs in a description, the feedback and sensation of driving is top-tier. Typical with Monster Games not having good force feedback. It really is embarrassing 🤡. You still can’t change settings for wheel setup in Ignition like you could in Heat 5. Thankfully Ignition game and case is fully recyclable. 🙌🏼
@@ericszymanski8118Hopefully Iracing and Monster Games get the NASCAR licensing. As far as this game goes, the only problem I have with it is the lack of good damage physics and a more in-depth car upgrading system. It's pretty basic and hard to understand the difference when you upgrade. I honestly feel no differences in the upgrades except the engine ones.
As a dirt track racer in the US I just want to say thanks to you guys for trying this game out! I love seeing all the variety of racing genres on the channel and website! I love what you guys are doing! Keep up the great work!

Been playing since release. I agree they fixed and updated Tony Stewart’s All American Racing. They even use some of the old music.
They cleaned up the graphics mostly in Nascar Heat5 but destroyed the physics. This is the best of both the games with Sprint cars instead of Legends.
This is like a niche within a niche within a niche game. Amazing somebody makes it.
The game is genuinely a ton of fun to play. Only small gripes I have include the ai being a little wonky at some tracks, and the paint booth being a little awkward. Other than that though, the game is genuine fun to play
Best racing game on PS5, easily.. I'm so impressed this turned out so well balanced. It's going to take me months and months on this career mode. Maybe years. Solid 9/10 all day

This game is absolutely awesome why I'm glad that this title came back to console why it's a throwback from the PS2.Know it is cleaned up with new drivers and original drivers like Donnie Schatz and of course a classic Sammy Swindell from the original Ps2 game Pennzoil Sprint cars
If NASCAR and Indycar was smart they would let iracing take over their console games.
Man I gotta say, I've been hammering on this game since I bought it, it's really hard to put down! I love every detail this game has to offer, like the national anthem being played before the race, the 4 wide salute in the WoO Sprint Cars & Late Models, crowd reactions to crashes, the crashes themselves looking pretty close to what a real life sprint car crash or late model/street stock crash would look like, seeing the tracks you left behind on previous laps, and the huge leap forward in customization! (For Monster Games standards.) Now is this game perfect? Well I'm a bit biased, I think its the best dirt racing game I've ever played, but WoO 2002 exists and I've emulated it, and I love it as well, but WoO 2022 has some specialities that I love, as mentioned already. Career Mode has a special grind that almost feels like WoO 2002: it's pretty deep, straightforward, and rewarding when you win, and crushing when you miss the A Main by an inch! It's probably the best simcade on the market imo, and I hope at some point, NASCAR strikes a new deal with Monster Games and iRacing to bring us the game we've been searching for a long while!

I’ve played a ton of SRX and love it, when I saw this game was made by monster games I was wondering if Outlaws could beat that or give me a reason to wrap up SRX and it sounds like it does! Appreciate the review, definitely going to give this a shot!
I love dirt racing (my favourite is IMCA sport mods). Saw this today and y’all just convinced me to get it.
how is the playerbase? how long multiplayer game take to match players? how is matchmaking? is it popular? i couldnt find a ign review. will iracing eventually come to console and is this game a trial to experiment for them to enter the consoles?

Anyone else notice the controller vibrations go away when running close to the wall in turns, I notice it most on career mode, playing on PS5, hope they fix the preorder dlc glitch soon

Driving this on a CSL DD is amazing. The feeling between the cushion and the low or mid line is massive and the ffb between every single car is massive. Really is such a great game. The only fault is simply an issue with it being new and thats a very small online community so far especially in Australia. But given time im sure there will be leagues starting to pop up

Interesting. The feedback on CSL Elite hasn't been great, almost numb to be honest.
Id argue this could possibly be the best console racing game i have seen released in years, maybe with a few exceptions (not exactly sure where assetto Corsa type games rank because i didnt play enough). Has some things that need improvement for sure, such as AI awareness, the fact that the cars can run like a second faster then real track records, and the damage model is an abomination, but its a really good game with tremendous potential to get better. A great amount of content with tracks (could use more real tracks) and classes, even going as far to reach outside of the outlaws to gather real drivers to fill out the game which i appreciate. A fun game with a great middle ground between arcade and sim. I hope they lean a tad more towards sim in the future maybe, but its seriously miles above the tony stewart games. havent been this glued to a racing game in years. Id say for me, its atleast as good as World of Outlaws 2002 in the overall sense. Liked your review btw
Not getting any force feedback with Thrustmaster TX. I only feel anything in the wheel when it is at full rotation on either side
Alright Ik that these aren’t even apart of WoO but they should add micros a bullring like Tulsa or the dome, more irl tracks without buying them, more wrap and number options and I think you should be able to customize your own trailer and when single player you can see your trailer and truck on the infield and while u tune your car or in multiplayer in the middle of the track or where ever they park.

I have the original World of Outlaws for XBox 360, Nascar Heat 4, and Tony Stewarts dirt racing game for PS4, I just won a PS5 and am considering purchasing this! I was happy with the Tony Stewart Dirt game, but this seems to look exactly like it! I love iRacing is affiliated with this game, but if your a racing fan iRacing itself is night and day better, Id rather invest a bit more for iRacing myself definetly worth it! Once you try iRacing nothing else even comes close to measuring up

Love the game, but I have a question. Why the hell on every dirt racing game do the cars always try to turn right on the straights? And how do you fix it?
Personally, I have the exact opposite problem. The car constantly wants to turn left, and right at the apex of the left pull to when it "let's go" at my personal "turn in" point, it throws the car and the line I was looking for is now 3 lanes left.
I go to the track a lot and this game is so realistic, rewarding and fun, definitely worth the money. also, I heard that they will be adding new cars and tracks with DLC's
Iracing publishing a game like this but with imsa would be so good
I absolutely love this game, but do not want to play online because it’s a smash fest. They need to figure out how to fix this like having penalties or ejections from the race. I tried one race and everyone was just smashing it’s no fun. The career mode is loads of fun though
That honestly any public lobby racing game. When the player count get bigger itll get better and league are always where its at anyway
@@fast_mattw8059 I just wish they made the online like a true Iracing lobby. There were a couple races where it was a tough battle and no slamming, but 95% of the lobbies are just s wreckfest

I love dirt track racing game but the first one of word of outlow Game it very lame too me but this 2022 world of outlow dirt racing game looks great i will definitely be getting this game when I get a Xbox one x/s because your review video really wae very very interesting to me and it makes me feel very happy for what you been very helpful to me be fori even get the game thanks you for what you been doing it's very nice and keep up for everything you are going and it is very helpful because it makes it more every to know if I could even bother I every buy it

They don’t even have it on next Gen. But without playing its 1000x better than NASCAR Ignition. I’m excited for it and have too many sims to go through before I pay iRacing prices. I am hopeful this helps bring some more iRacing content to new Gen and consoles. I’m thinking 7.99 a month 😂😂😂😂

As an American, I'll never understand why we apparently love racing and watching racing in a circle/oval. How utterly unstimulating. Never liked it, never will.
As a fellow American, I actually enjoy road racing a lot......however, I grew up in Indiana the heart of dirt track racing and I can tell you, find a dirt track local to you and make it a Friday night out. You will be very surprised. You couldn't pay me to watch a Nascar race or even indycar on an oval but the grassroots type of dirt racing is so much damn fun.
There actually are three dirt venues within 35mi of me. I've been to a couple races, but it just doesn't excite me. But, hey, for those who dig it, more power to them.
To be fair, being at a rally or road circuit live probably wouldn't be that fun for me either, as you're just in a spot and really don't get to see the whole course (come to think of it, I'm not that partial to anything live if I'm just a spectator). But, I wouldn't have ever had any interest in motor sports if it weren't for those styles, so I'm thankful for the internet allowing me to find different kinds of racing.
As a European i always loved oval racing more than any other form of racing.
