Home Design and Interior Design by Alicia Zupan - This was a complete concept, design, build project - All Home Design plans, cabinetry, hardware, plumbing, electrical/lighting were designed by Alicia Zupan. All custom draperies, bedding, furnishings, lighting and accents were procured through Ethan Allen Design Center OKC.

Alicia Zupan’s vision is superior... I would never have combined some of the pieces she did, and yet it all works. This is an exceptional home in every way. It has a formality that is livable, and the warmth of a “home”.

Had to check my monitors settings - was the client like, "no color or drama anywhere in the public spaces"? I like a monochromatic design as much as the next guy, but OMG, so many missed opportunities to add character and personality. The Hudson chandelier would have worked well. I was getting depressed with all the grey however. Hope it came with a lifetime supply of Zoloft. I would love to see a "Kalen reacts" episode with this! Where there is finally some color, it doesn't mesh well for me. Robin's egg blue with a near-chartreuse door? Yuk. Never have I seen a kitchen with 2 islands - that was interesting.
There was a red tomato by the kitchen sink for a pop of color! Lol:-)

loved the mud room and pantry, the whole place was staged perfectly except the color scheme...there wasn't any..all beige, cream and brown, reminded me of those 1950s upscale mental hospitals and shiplap is so played out

The placement of furniture and finishing touches is glorious. However the color choice gives it no personality, making it look like an upper class hospital. Honestly, the clearing of the palate has been over done. It is time to incorporate some personality and color. No self respecting Frenchwoman would abide this for very long.
