I agree; retinol does everything! I use Trentinoin at night and bakuchi oil in the morning. That and a basic moisturizer is all I use and my skin has improved so much! Plus I moved to a humid climate- that really helped. Perhaps others who can’t move can use a vaporizer instead.

@@GabeTheYabe Agency is great for getting Tretinoin. You answer some questions online regarding your skin and get matched with a dermatologist. They come up with a formula for you usually with some niacinamide and possibly tranexamic acid. It’s like just under $70 every two months but you can always skip a shipment or change it to a later date.
It really does everything! I use retinol or other retinoids for acne but it also helps with hyperpigmentation, overall brightening and skin elasticity.

Don't assume the Trader Joe's sunscreen is sold out just because it isn't on the shelves. Ay my Trader Joe's, when I went up to the desk to ask when they were going to get it back in, they said they had plenty of it behind the desk and that they didn't put it out because it was being stolen so frequently. So be sure to ask before assuming that they don't have any.
Love Biossance. I will forever love my Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion as a light moisturizer, but Biossance serums, eye cream, and face cream has won the affections of my sensitive older skin.
Awe, it's so nice to see you together this New Year's Eve! Yes, I definitely enjoy hearing the inside info you're able to get from these brands. It's so appreciated!
Many of your recommendations have improved my 62 year old skin. Especially the Biossance products. Glad I stumbled upon your channel this year. Thanks! and here's to a happy and healthy New Year!
The Trader Joe's sunscreen is hands down my favorite of the 5 or 6 sunscreens I have. Funnily enough back in the summer I had a way harder time getting my hands on it but *knock on wood* it's been in stock every time I've gone shopping since November.
Hello, I’m big on body scrubs! Soap & Glory makes one called The Scrub of Your Life. It’s heavily fragranced but I use it once a week and when washing in preparation of a special occasion. The smell is perfumed beautifully in my opinion and people give me compliments. When I get out of the shower I put a face serum on called a 1000 Roses (it is a holy grail for me) then apply on arms and elbows a body butter by Soap & Glory. It smells amazing. You have to massage a thick moisturizer on hands and feet so I use “aquaphor baby “ it has been the Best thing for the skin on hands 🙌 I use it every day and won’t go without it ever again! Hahaha there I go on and on talking about skincare and products. I hope that something in this rambling is helpful for you. Cheers !

Elta MD tinted uv elements is the best for people who hate the smell of sunscreen. I love this sunscreen. I actually wear it everyday where other sunscreens I wouldn’t because I hate the smell. Makes my skin look amazing too.

At 60 years old (yea… I know I am too late…) I started my facial routine for morning and night, with all your recommendations. I am already seeing huge improve of my skin. I wish I knew it 40 years ago. Thank you, and Happy New Year for you and your families. You are amazing ❤
I am very acne prone and sensitive, I didn't tolerate tretinoin even after 6 months of trying.... but tolerate the biossance retinol perfectly.. glad you guys approve!
I think it’s interesting how a product is deemed effective when there is so much cycling and combining of products. How do you know if results are due to one product and not another? For me, I have to try something for weeks or months to see if it’s effective. Otherwise, aren’t you just going by the ingredients list, how it feels, and lack of irritation?
My advice would be don’t let the Biossance price scare you; they often have 20-30% off deals and amazing gifts with purchase… I’ve been using Biossance for a few months and have found after the discounts and gifts it’s actually pretty reasonably priced!
After I watched your video, the HOT AND FLASHY video came up with her favorite products. She opened with a lot of gadgets. I may have missed it if you guys did this. But should’ve been one of your categories!😃
Could you all do a video on best anti aging products that don’t target acne also? Thank you, Doctors, for all the smiles, tips and product information that you have shared with us in 2022! I have one request for 2023 and that is mention fragrance when you are discussing specific products. I am hugely fragrance sensitive and I have unfortunately purchased way too many skin care products online only to find out that I am not able to use them because of the strong smell. Would really appreciate if you would note the fragrance free ones or at least the ones that have a bit more of a natural fragrance rather than perfume and other strong fragrances. Thanks so much! Happy New Year!
@@20thcenturyrelic thanks for jumping on my bandwagon! I don't think people realize how many people are fragrance sensitive. Some of us are much worse and some are not as severely sensitive, but there are a lot of us who can't take a lot of fragrance in our face products! Personally, I don't believe there should be fragrance in face products, but I know some people love their perfumed creams. 😥

Happy New Year, doctors! 🥳 Thank you for the recommendations, & for making having a skincare less intimidating. I appreciate the information you share with us here. ✨️
I use mineral based sunscreen because avobenzone which is in many chemical sunscreens burns my eyes and my skin. Although some believe it is oxybenzone, not avobenzone that does the burning. Eitherway, I use Australian Gold with SPF 50 or 70... although mineral sunscreens tend to leave my face white.

if you guys haven’t already you definitely need to try the cosrx aloe soothing sun cream
NICE VIDEO! It would be great if there will be a "Best Products of 2022: Below $20 Edition"! Happy New Year, everyone! Keep up the good work, Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield! 😍
What is below $20 in Vermont, is $40 in California
Thank God for you two!!! I have switch my moisturizer and my treatments because you guys are not only docs but in detail into explains what it has and what it will take care of for us who dk anything bout Ingredients love and appreciate ya!
Thank YOU guys, for an amazing year! I love you so much! I found you here in the beginning of 2022, and I am so happy and great full for all your videos.
At 60 years old (yea… I know I am too late…) I started my facial routine for morning and night, with all your recommendations. I am already seeing huge improve of my skin. I wish I knew it 40 years ago.
Thank you, and Happy New Year for you and your families. You are amazing ❤
Same here at 63! It makes such a difference.
I am very acne prone and sensitive, I didn't tolerate tretinoin even after 6 months of trying.... but tolerate the biossance retinol perfectly.. glad you guys approve!
I think it’s interesting how
a product is deemed effective when there is so much cycling and combining of products.
So many mention acne control and I know that is a concern for many but I’m in my 60’s and want products that specifically address anti aging without acne fighting ingredients. Love you guys, you’re videos are so informative
I would LOVE for you to review Youth To The People products! I personally love them, but I'd appreciate your professional opinion. Thank you! I've been able to transform my skin this year because of your channel and expertise.😊
This is so helpful! After watching your videos, I've finally been able to get products that don't break the bank and effective at the same time. Your camaraderie is heart warming and the humor is icing on the cake. Best wishes for 2023 and I hope you continue to share your knowledge with us. Thank you!!
Congratulations!!! I'm a subscriber from Portugal and love your videos and the information that you are both sharing. Could you do a video about the Verisol and the collagen supplements? I hear there are several studies about it? Could you give us guidance on this? Best wishes for 2023!
As an oily girl, still at 53, I used to love the Occitan moisturizer with rice flour as its mattifyer. But they discontinued it. Glad to see other slightly mattifying moisturizers.
I'm grateful to have learned so much from you two - your channel is one that I continually recommend to those who are interested in skin care or how to best use the skin care they have. Between the information, the recommendations and your dynamic duo-ness, your channel and videos rank among my favorites!! Happy, healthy New Year to you and your families!!!
ADD TO CART thank you so much for all the tipps ❤❤❤❤
Thank you both!
Congratulations! Thanks for all the good information.
Could you do a video on skin care brands that you like that are cruelty free?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!🎉🎉🎉.. thank you guys for putting yourselves as an acting ladder for us consumers rather than doing the guessing games!.. yall do everything for us and we appreciate you both!!.. 2023 HERE WE GO!!
Dawn dish soap as a body wash for extreme sweating
Please guys can you introduce some products for Europe. A lot of the products you show are available only in Us.
I love European products!! I’ve been to France twice and always load up on my products there. Some of them have literally saved my skin!
Le Roche Posay is European isn’t it?!
@@robinisathakur yes, it is but like most other European brands that you can get in the US, there are also a lot that are only available over in Europe.
@@jessicapierce8369 I mean. How are they supposed to get and test products that are only available in Europe?
@@CBull015lol I was going to say the same.
It is as hard for OP to find American products in Europe as it is to be in America looking for European products 😂
I’m an esthetician and really enjoy these videos they are so informative and I always Learn alot 😊👍 thanks 🙏
You guys are awesome. I love this science and education you give us. PLEASE, keep it up. Thank you to you and to your families for your weekend time devoted to your TH-cam channel. Us midlife aging ladies who are keeping it real appreciate it so much
Happy New Year and many blessings to you and yours
I actually purchased Squalane Oil to use as a base on my face...prior to potentially irritating ingredients being applied. I love it. When I messed up my skin barrier...Squalane was a "Face Saver" for me. Highly recommend keeping a bottle on hand for skin emergencies.
I appreciate that y’all brought up alternate (affordable) options in each category (:
I wouldn’t buy L’Oréal since it’s owned by Nestle, so I was delighted to see another alternative.
I would love to see a video on caring for the eyelids, especially drooping.
Can we get an eye cream video? 😅
Avene physiolift
Paula's choice has great ones
You guys are AMAZING!!! My friends and I we all love you here in the UK!!
Very interested in hearing about products for mature/menopausal skin (over 50s)
Thanks a lot ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Happy HEALTHY new year!🎉🎉🎉🎉
The production on this video is on 💯. The growth has been amazing to watch.
Thank you, doctors, for doing these videos to educate us. You both Rock! Happy New Year 2023.🎄
I would love for y’all to do more videos talking about specific types of skin care products and go more in depth to talk about them. Example: Video talking about vitamin C and then giving a range from low to high priced vitamin c products that are good quality. Maybe throw in a few that you don’t recommend too.
Love the informative videos! ❤️❤️❤️
