I remember my family and I saw it together and my mom rented it in California in hotel room Shame it bombed at the box office but still one of my favorite summer flicks Love the voice actors; Chris Rock, Brandy, David Hyde Pierce, William Shatner, and Laurence Fishburne I spent forever trying to find the soundtrack, it was actually my first introduction to Craig David Nostalgia Critic thought it was okay; doesn't know if it wants to be a legitimately clever adult film or a giggle fest for two-year-olds There are some clever ideas in this; the designs are great, the environment itself is pretty cool, and sometimes, even some of the puns are kind of clever The animation as well is so gorgeous to look at, it’s just so colorful and flowing But the story is every boring buddy cop flick, the live-action stuff is awkwardly done, and a lot of the humor just isn’t that funny The live action scenes are lethargic but the animated portions are amazing Funny they ended up making a tv show The movie holds a lot of relevance today teaching kids to be clean and eat the right way, good way to teach them how a virus works

Osmosis Jones got me through my recovery from surgery in the hospital. Twice. In ‘06, I had a brain tumor removed. My parents brought a portable DVD player and my Osmosis Jones DVD. In 2014, I had back surgery because of a tumor on my spine. That time, I had an iPad and have Osmosis Jones downloaded on it. Now, in this tough time, I’m gonna watch it again.
Lol I loved this movie. It was one of my “sick” movies to watch. I had a bad immune system as a child. I remember wishing that a Tylenol would team up with osmosis and fix me lol
I liked this one. Knew about the children's book. Forgot that the Farelly brothers directed the movie. Voice-casting was cool and the soundtrack was dope. Brandy Norwood voiced a character and did a song called 'Open'. The message of the story was clear that taking care of yourself is so essential and everybody should relate.

Cells At Work is an Anime on Netflix all about human cells and the immune system. Each episode deals with a different common ailment and how the body reacts to it. It's really entertaining and super informative.

I went on a Voodoo tour around the French Quarter a few years ago and witnessed an annoying little girl around the age of 7-9 play in a greasy puddle near bourbon street. All the native Louisianans (this includes myself) gasped and gagged at the sight of this shit because we all know better. Her parents were embarrassed as hell because the guide stopped the tour and guided the group to the nearest bar so the little girl could wash her hands.
I enjoy watching Osmosis Jones back in the day. My former best friend at the time gave me the movie. I like the gross humor, voice acting was good especially the performance from Lawrence Fishburne and surprisingly the film was somewhat violent though in PG cartoon mode. The soundtracks was awesome. Love the R&B tracks.

I first saw this film while on a ferry ride to Ireland back in 2008. On the way back it was 101 Dalmatians. I didn't see the title though & I kept figuring out what Osmosis Jones was until I finally found it in 2016.
I haven't seen the film. I am assuming that the animation parts of the film are an abstraction. Abstraction is where a non-literal storytelling device is being used to explain something going on. An example of this is musicals. People are not actually breaking into song and dance within the context of the story. Rather the musical numbers are being used to convey the motivations and emotions of the main characters. Another example is any video game that has turn-based combat. Combatants are not standing waiting for their turn. This is just how the game communicates combat. In the context of Osmosis Jones, I'm assuming that the animation is an abstraction to explain something very complex. In the context of the story, the insides of Bill Murray's body are not actually in animation. That said, I might be wrong. The animated sections of the story might be intended to be literal.
I hope you guys review Birdemic next. I think you're reaction would be...interesting. If you were impressed by that amazing dog animation in Soul Plane, well, you haven't seen anything yet.

I prefer the tv show Ozzy and Drix. It educated me about the body and cells. It also take place in a kids body which is more relatable for childern.
Check out Prince of Egypt. It is a fantastic animated film. Though its basswd on Moses, a religious story, its is wonderful film making, to me..

I haven't seen the film. I am assuming that the animation parts of the film are an abstraction. Abstraction is where a non-literal storytelling device is being used to explain something going on. An example of this is musicals. People are not actually breaking into song and dance within the context of the story. Rather the musical numbers are being used to convey the motivations and emotions of the main characters.
Another example is any video game that has turn-based combat. Combatants are not standing waiting for their turn. This is just how the game communicates combat.
In the context of Osmosis Jones, I'm assuming that the animation is an abstraction to explain something very complex. In the context of the story, the insides of Bill Murray's body are not actually in animation. That said, I might be wrong. The animated sections of the story might be intended to be literal.
