Wow. I can only imagine how relaxing it would be to live in such a place. My only critic is with the 2nd photo. Uneven floors are my enemy. Loose gravel and pebbles, I loose balance easily.
Cannot make house like this in Australia.. Poisonous snakes will easily come in.. And sometimes kangaroo will break in too..and do not forget bush fire... Always avoid buy a house next to the reserve or forest... Tropical garden and ponds might looks pretty.. But homes for snakes...
Most of the designs have the stove positioned against a wall where the cook has his or her back to their guests. I would rather be facing the courtyard when cooking.
i am an architecture student. i've come to learn is for safety measures. a gust of wind blows the flame of the stove and it dies, but the gas keeps coming out.... oh boy
