Because it is a classic, elegant but the same time cosy and "simple" with all that nature around and beautiful Orange tiles which makes people forget about the chaos and decadence in the cities. This style is ambivalent peaceful & chic. I own a similar home that built some years ago😊 regards from México.
Boomer generation benefited immensely from post war spoils and the need to populate the US rapidly. They did their job. To this day settling Europeans comfortably is in place in the US continues. Ukrainians for example are settling comfortably in the US while they show the brown immigrants in the media. Now the new crop of people along with immigrants from the so called third world country are being exploited with heavy surveillance. Consider yourself lucky to have that inheritance. Many people are in far worse condition. Absolutely hopeless for many.
