      Fellowships in UK are dedicated training in one of the branches like Cardiac or neuroanesthesia. FRCA is an exam which is taken by students of anesthesia in United Kingdom. Botth are different. FRCA is equivalent to MD in India. You pass MD exams and then you are allowed to practice in India. Same is with FRCA, any trainee who is undergoing training in United Kingdom is required to pass both sections Primary and Final FRCA before they are awarded a CCT, as Dr Shishir pointed out. So FRCA and Fellowships are entirely different. FRCA is just an exam and Fellowship are training posts.

      @Iluminati
      Hi,
      FRCA is an exam, passing it doesn't affect your salary in UK. Your salary will be dictated by National wage decided by BMA. It depends upon your Role and type of post. Most salaries are fixed and decided by years of experience. FRCA is just an exam that is written by Students as a part of their training and certification in Anesthetics called as CCT. So FRCA doesn't decide salary.
