"So was our touch just as sacred as I've made it seem? Or just another fabrication of a half-dream? Just those chemicals, the adolescent love... " God, I've felt this far too often
Me too man. I just sent this song to my buddy telling him that this song is the storm of emotions I feel during sex... between this song and "A Letter," it makes me think this dude and I share a soul... my favorite lyricist.
how are they underrated? this has half a mil views and is generally regarded as a revitalization of PHC. Not trying to be a douche but there are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more bands that are slept on that have heartfelt and thought out lyrics like these and a similar sound, try "Get Well" or "Nesh" by city cop (if you cant find it its because they changed names to glass bones). Saetia and William Bonney have a similar feeling as well, but with more renown.
It doesn't matter, neither hesitates to carry on. A kind of energy, sweat and block out everything to find every aperture and compel the animal pats. Fan flames. Taste (bitter) fruit. Just try learn how all the wires in the body work. Just try to feel it out, it's like medicine. Find it healing in whatever bed they end up in.
are there any artist that sing with no music? I would love to hear a voice like this with no background music.. I think it would speak to me on a higher level.
+Austin Bridges They have a couple spoken word albums but they still utilize subtle background music. The lyrics are definitely more emphasized though.
maaaaate this is legit what i went through, if I interpret it as intended at least.. in my mind its about wanting to lose your virginity but still being in love with someone else which is basically what happened to me and all the thoughts and doubts ring so true "i see the church steps, a vision; is there fiction in this one too, it's true i made a tale of it here still its a little unclear who's been haunting who. and time can be such a funny thing always moving to the future glorifying the past, amplifying the pain in frames in glass. was our touch half as sacred as I've made it seem?"
i like how deep and personal the lyrics can get but for instance with this song and maybe another 1-2 i don’t understand when he says certain things if that makes any sense .. or the message of the song as well
Not to mention I literally just saw both of them at the broadberry and Richmond. They sound completely different. Touche amore is a little heavier music wise I think. La dispute adds a lot of unique sounds and jams a lot

Tony, the song is written from the perspective of a person struggling with the idea of causal sex after having experienced great love.
