Love that you shouted out Jones Road! Those pencils come in handy on the go especially for touch ups. I don't think the hrand gets enough love! The eye pencil is my favorite eyeliner of all time for a soft, smudged out, brown eyeliner for everyday use too
Minimal makeup gal here and I LOVE the westman line. I have the mini in a contour (I use as a bronzer, somehow it works) and blush and they’re amazing. A little pricey for a mini, but they last forever. Love that Nikki just posted a similar video, and now you are as well. ❤❤❤
How I love watching your kind explanations during night time routine before going to bed. Your whole presence is so motivating & soothing. Thank you so much ♥️✨️
I love this video. We downsized and moved about 4 years ago and the amount of old make up that got thrown out, that I wasn’t/ didn’t use was ridiculous and expensive. I now have a basic range and except for a few mistakes in purchases use everything.
I have your topaz palette and it truly works as a minimalist palette for me. I can use the eyeshadows as eyeliner, eyeshadow, bronzer/contour, blush, brow powder, and highlighter. That leaves me needing to add a concealer, lip product, and mascara. The palette allows for a range of looks from office neutral to glam. The pigments are finely milled enough to be buildable and perform well on my mature skin.

Wayne, I love your overall premise here. As I grow older (eke!), I find that that less is more. I agree that using good skincare products is essential. I haven't tried the Merit brand yet, but it appeals to me. I travel a great deal and have scaled down my skincare and makeup routine to just the basics as you suggest.
I was really hesitant to try Merit, mostly because everyone else was saying how great it was... and as an old punk I had to dig in a little. 😁 But it really is lovely stuff; it really does follow the less-is-more/quick-and-easy ethos. and I just look like me, only well-rested. So if you're on the fence about a Merit product, go for it. I especially like the minimalist foundation/concealer stick. Good stuff.
Wayne you have truly inspired me throughout my late teens, 20s, and now into my 30s. I’m forever grateful. I’ve had the best skin-like makeup because of the techniques, and knowledge you’ve shared. Hi Wayne, I love this video! I was intrigued to hear the products you recommend and why, and appreciate your comments about their expense as well. Of the lot, I've only used the CT Colour Chameleons, WA blush, and your lip glosses. I do not wear lip gloss in general however I wear your lip glosses regularly because of the effect they give the lips. I call them lip toppers because they pop a lip look like an eyeshadow topper pops an eye look, especially Chrysanthemum! Stunning! I'm looking forward to your upcoming launch, and supporting and celebrating you however I can! Thank you for your videos and tutorials!😉🖌️💗

This’ is a such a simple, effective framework to work frm. That bronzer shade is perfection (as an olive biddie, just abt everything runs too orange or red). Shared w my sis who’s been looking for minimal lewk for a trip we’ll be going on!
I'm sitting here watching while thinking about I've used 35-40 skin care and makeup products today (yes I counted)😅 I'm just not a minimalist especially when it comes to makup 😊 so I usually don't watch this type of content, but because it's you, I was still interested in what products you've liked ☺
Hi Wayne !! Just catching up . Love this video Evelom is amazing I have the Rescue mask and purchased the small cleanser and you are correct in saying it’s delightful and takes off everything leaving the skin super soft and clean . I have the WA powder bronzer and the Nectar highlight amazing too ❤ I will be checking out some of the other products mentioned in this video 🤗
Hello lovely. Age is just a number when it comes to makeup and skincare. The key is to focus on products that work for your skin type and needs. As we age, our skin might change, but that doesn’t mean we need to stop using makeup or creams. It’s more about choosing the right products that offer hydration, protection, and a healthy glow. Makeup and skincare are about enhancing natural beauty, no matter what age you are. 😊xx
I have red blotchy skin on my face [cheeks mainly] which is the result of growing up in a fairly hot part of the country [northern north island, New Zealand]. I've tried lots of colour correcting creams/lotions over the years, the best being the Shishido I tried back in the 80s, can't afford it now though, but recently Lacura [ALDI own brand] released a new one that is a not so little jar of green cream that you literally pat onto your skin after the moisturiser and under your foundation. The green then turns to beige and blends in with your skin colour without leaving any hint of the green or even the whitish cast some leave behind. Undoubtedly a dupe [most of their products are but their illuminating foundation is truly the BEST foundation I've ever used while their tinted moisturiser - without sun screen, they do one with as well - is also fabulous]. Best of all at a fiver they are easily affordable - only 6 shades though ranging from very pale to dark enough for most Africans to wear but not much in-between. And their foundation or their tinted moisturiser over the colour correcting cream leaves you with skin that is even but, best of all, looking as though you aren't wearing ANY foundation at all. I have no idea what they are dupes of [actually I think the foundation is one of a blurring illuminating foundation, pinkish bottle with gold lid and pink writing on it selling for something like £70, no wonder people queue for the Lacura version at a fiver] but if you don't have much money and have an ALDI near you it is worth checking to see if they have any of their skin range in [they came in about a week ago here in Ireland, I got the last tinted moisturiser but there were quite a few left of the correcting cream and other skin products] because if you can't afford items into double figures - and I can't being on disability - both Lacura and the Primark/Penneys PS ranges are very affordable and very good. Love your videos, they are always so helpful even when all you can afford are the cheap ranges [Essence are another great range and also affordable].
Aldi foundation in the round, glass bottle is an Armani silk dupe and you're right 💯 it's fabulous stuff for the price ! The concealer is great too . I love the daily glow moisturiser that comes in a sqaure-ish, plastic, pump dispenser bottle, yellow looks like Clinique .. Lacura roll-on collagen lip oil, in a white tube with silver lettering is brilliant stuff for around £4 . Think it's a Charlotte Tilbury dupe . It's always a lovely surprise doing the weekly food shop finding Aldi have make-up or skin care on special offer 💄
If you have great skin the minimalist look is fabulous! For the rest of us mere mortals, I’m 70 and still have oily skin with some sun spots and wrinkles. No makeup conceals wrinkles so I embrace them. Your skin looks fantastic ergo you go with the minimal look, I’ll stick with Estée Lauder foundation my go to for years😀
Hi Nancy, the excess oil (sebum) keeps the skin naturally moisturized, which can help prevent dryness and fine lines as you age. Embrace having oily skin my lovely xx
When you are choosing shades for your revamped makeup line, pllleeeaasssee can you include some cool shades - especially for lips and cheeks. I find that even colours that claim to be cool can look slightly warm on me. The tone has to be just right. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect cool, mauve pink lip liner that would be just a tad darker than my natural lip colour. I'm also finding blusher with a slight purple tone looks good on me, but there aren't many of those around. Emma x
Hi Wayne, could you do a video about how to clean/maintain brushes and sponges etc for complete beginners? Apologies if this already exists and thank you for your amazing videos ❤
I have to agree westman atelier is great, not the price it pains me when I buy but everything I bought I've loved (the highlight nectar, the foundation, and the lip balm I used it all up until it changed texture) I'm not the biggest fan of their blushes due to the texture being a bit drier than I would like.
Oh what is the colour of that second laura mercier lipstick/balm? it's so lovely and pink. Also it makes sense to invest in key products you'll hit pan on! love that you are not sponsored but I would absolutely shop any links you posted !
I generally use the oil and moisturiser together in the evening. You can mix them together or apply Separately. Totally your preference. In the day I generally use a serum/oil alone, or if I have run out just the moisturiser. Xx
Hey! I’ve done quite a few videos on contouring and bronzing in the past. Feel free to search through my TH-cam channel-there’s a ton of content to help you get the perfect look! Hope this helps lovely xx
I absolutely love Westman Atelier (sp?) Products. I like not having drug store products shoved in my face when i dont use them! I love your recommendations! xoxo ~lori
We are currently revamping our product line, to bring you even better cosmetics. We do not have a launch date as of yet, but will make an announcement nearer the time xx
The westman atelier highlighter must’ve changed 😭 your review, as well as tons on Sephora, said no glitter. I ordered one and it’s PURE glitter. Like so much that any adult would look crazy wearing it. I saw a few other reviews from the last month saying the same thing. Companies always have to ruin a good thing haha. Did order the bronzer too though, and love!
The eye shadows are so pretty but having never used eye shadow in that form I recently got pencils from laura mercier, but I don't think im foing it right, I feel like im poking my eyes through my eyelid but getting little color, I would love an application tutorial
Hi, for the stables, it’s best to keep makeup minimal since the environment can be dusty and active. A light, natural look will be more comfortable and practical for the day and perhaps a red lip for dressage? 😊
Wayne, you are incorrect about the blush. It is not universal for every person. The one that you have shown has a blue undertone. So, it's great for cool's, yet not for warm's. I'm an Autumn, which is warm coloring. The majority of the population around the world are cool's.... like 90%. Season's matter so much. Those of us that are warm's, are so often forgotten. Whether it's in makeup, or clothing, etc. Please don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy watching your videos. They are very informative. Thank you!
Please tell me your waterproof mascara will be available again soon? Its my holy grail and I am having to use inferior products (and my husband is tired of me buying and returning things) 🤣
Hi Heather. We are currently revamping our cosmetic lines, to bring you even better products! We are very excited about this, but currently don’t have a launch date. Please fee l free to subscribe for our latest updates, but be reassured that we will make an announcement nearer the time! Thanks so much for your interest and support xx
@@WayneGoss I hope it's soon -- and that you don't do anything with the mascara formulation (other than make it a tad bit easier to remove lol) because it's perfect as is. I'm just a random Internet stranger but I think you're amazing and really appreciate all that you do.
Hi! Is that possible to have the name exactly of the products please? I love….too much These! I’m French….i beg your pardon for my english…love your vidéos so much….❤️
I just wanted to buy your contour kit but it was sold out after sending an email an asking if it comes back in stock I got the response that your brand will be revamped- is there a date yet?
You seem a little sad in this video, I am so sorry...Pheraps you're only tired. here in Italy today weather is so rainy! I hope it is sunny there!! Be happy! Before a MUA, you are a wonderful human being! May you have a wonderful day ☀️
oh I am happy to hear that! I have been following you for years and over time I have observed and appreciated your expertise, but also your sensitivity. Thank you for your videos!
Wayne, I have never been able to find a creamy lipstick, that doesn't dry my lip's out. No matter that they claim to be creamy and moisturizing, they certainly are not! I prefer to use a creamy lipstick, and not a gloss. Even lipgloss dry's my lip's out. So I use my Vaseline, which I can count on at all times. Just as my grandmother did. She lived into her 90's, and had no lip lines around her mouth, or on her lip's. I've tried everything on the market, and have spent so much money on lipstick's over all these years, yet I still can not find a creamy lipstick that doesn't dry my lip's out. Do you know of any creme lipstick, that you can absolutely guarantee me, won't dry my lips out???? Please, I need your help and expertise. Thank you, so very much.
I’m sorry you can’t find a lipstick that suits you. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee anything in life unfortunately, it’s hit and miss finding something that works for my darling. Sorry I can’t help you more xx
Good expensive products. Maybe one day I will visit England to buy it for my Asian face😊 In my country "the total Wayne Goss brushes collection" is costs almost like a one salary ...😢 and other cosmetics collection is very high for middle class population.....
Love your videos and clicked on this one to see the minimalist make-up. I counted them: 17 products. Maybe, try doing a minimalist video with a total of 5? Difficult for a make-up artist I imagine, but try the "your mission if you choose to accept it" is to have a maximum of 5 products total. Would love to see that video please Wayne. 😉
Wow..too expensive for me. I did try eve lom eye serum, ot was a sale, but it burns due to retinol in it. Im hoping it will go away the more i use it. 😅

You are so welcome Paula! Thanks for watching xx
What moisturizer and oil do you use at night? 😊
Whatever I have at hand ... I'm really not that fussed about those things. I've no idea what is in those bottles. But nothing fancy! For sure!
@@WayneGoss Thanks, they’re great bottles.
No roast today? Not even a little roast? Love your videos and your humor 😘
Thank you 😊
Hi could you do more of the simple eyeshadows that stays on the lid no cut creased and no smokey eyes just the lid
Feel free to check out my previous TH-cam videos, where I feature a range of eyeshadow application tutorials xx😊
Love this video! Thank you.
Oh thank you for sharing 😊
You are so welcome darling xx
Ah Eve Lom was one of first balm I used.
The beard is incredibly handsome ❤
Thanks!! It keeps me warm 😊
Love this, thank you.
You are so welcome lovely xx
This is amazing! Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊 x
Lovely 🥰
Thanks!
Welcome! 😊
This was perfect!!
In your description you say “ trust me on this”. Yes we will trust you Wayne.
Thank you! I’m sure some don’t 😊xx
The eye shadows are so pretty but having never used eye shadow in that form I recently got pencils from laura mercier, but I don't think im foing it right, I feel like im poking my eyes through my eyelid but getting little color, I would love an application tutorial
What shades are you in the Merit foundation stick and the VBB contour stylus, please?
Hi,Wayne, an equestrian subscriber here 😉Could you do a 'go to the stables look 'and a 'competition make up look 'for dressage riders please ? 💖
Hi, for the stables, it’s best to keep makeup minimal since the environment can be dusty and active. A light, natural look will be more comfortable and practical for the day and perhaps a red lip for dressage? 😊
Love the thumbnail ☕️!
Thank you!
Hi Wayne! Which moisturiser and oil do you use now? You didn't mention the names :)
Hello, what is the Brand Name of the Bronzer ?
Westman Atelier I think
@ Thank you 😍
Gotta look into all these products now! 😂 If Wayne likes it, I'm in!❤
😂😂
I’m French….i beg your pardon for my english…love your vidéos so much….❤️
Please replicate this video using drugstore products if possible. Can't afford $150 for skin cleanser. Thank you. Love your videos.
Noted and thank you xx
I'd love that! I love splurging, but it's alsoso nice to know where I can save.
You can still follow the tips in this video with your own stuff, you know.
Go to a different channel then
omg the way I’ve always been a slut for stick foundations🖤🖤
😂😂
What colour was the bronzer?
@wayne goss, do you use Jones road concealer to cover the eye hollow?
Yep x
"I think brows have become overdone" - I glance sideways into a mirror at my absolute Eugene Levy's. Lol.
May you have a wonderful day ☀️
No, I’m not sad. Must just be my face 😃 Weather is very wet here too in the UK. Have a lovely day X
oh I am happy to hear that!
I have been following you for years and over time I have observed and appreciated your expertise, but also your sensitivity.
Thank you for your videos!
No powder to set?
❤❤❤❤
What do you for black under the eyes make up ?
What is the spelling of your treatment product, please?❤
Klira
@@WayneGoss Thank you Wayne. My search will continue! 👍
Have you tried Neutrogena hydro boost lip products? I live in the desert and this brand has really worked, no peeling lips.
@@janedough6575 I will definitely try them. Thank you so much!
💙💙💙💙💙
Mr. Goss, I am desperate for your mascara to restock! Only thing that holds my curl.
Good expensive products.
Maybe one day I will visit England to buy it for my Asian face😊
In my country "the total Wayne Goss brushes collection" is costs almost like a one salary ...😢 and other cosmetics collection is very high for middle class population.....
Hopefully one day you come and visit the UK my
Friend xx
Love your videos and clicked on this one to see the minimalist make-up. I counted them: 17 products. Maybe, try doing a minimalist video with a total of 5? Difficult for a make-up artist I imagine, but try the "your mission if you choose to accept it" is to have a maximum of 5 products total. Would love to see that video please Wayne. 😉
Maybe, maybe. Thanks for watching xx
❤
That’s that wayne espresso
Wow..too expensive for me. I did try eve lom eye serum, ot was a sale, but it burns due to retinol in it. Im hoping it will go away the more i use it. 😅
😲retinol eye serum messed up my under eye skin, if it’s burning stop using it!
@@janedough6575 yep I have, thanks
I agrée. You don’t need tons of skincare products if you use Tretinoin. I personally use 0.1% tazarotene.
