It's wasn't purely based on gender. He saw a genetic similarity in the some (curved little toe) that wasn't present in the daughter.

For example My brother has our great grandfathers ears (pointy like an elf) while it does come from my dad's side of the family my dad doesn't have those ears.
I just feel it's narrowminded of these fathers to say "well (s)he doesn't look like me" because HEAVEN FORBID the child look like their mother or have features of their aunt's, uncles, Grandparents or Great Grandparents.

It really bothers me when a man denies a child, then immediately after finding out the kid is his asks the mom to marry him. You were just in court saying you thought she cheated and that you wanted proof if the kid was really yours, then all of a sudden everything is so great that you need to get married? No. You need counselling. And the mom's need more self respect than being happy that a man that was denying her child a second ago wants to marry her now.

If ANY person treats a child poorly, because of their personal feelings, I would allow that person to be a parent, but I wouldn't still desire to try to make the relationship work between us. Example: If a cop lines a group of people up & he treats certain ones poorly, because of his personal feelings, more than likely, you would not desire to continue an up-close & personal relationship with that cop on a regular basis. When it comes to INNOCENT children our personal feelings should not be a reason to treat that child poorly-it's not their fault. Just my opinion.
Well if a kid is not mine and one kid is, I will treat them different. I do not see you caring about the Congolese orphan being hungry as we speak as much as the rugrat that is yours inside your home.

That is why I have always done all that I am able to do for ALL children within my community, as well as my own, because children are innocent & didn't ask to be brought into this world. I love how light hearted this episode was compared to others. There was no shortage of laughs. Even the couple weren’t really that nasty to each other and made each other laugh. For real, I hope he realizes how foolish he was though.
Yeah their a few episodes like this that are light headed funny case's although it sad that their on here compared to a lot of these cases most are really emotional especially the cases that involves adult children
