-Cashmere, what a fabric. Hmm. I don't know Chenille. -Statement coats, mentioned last week, are inspired. I will just reiterate briefly what I said then, I don't understand why some consider cold weather a fashion dead zone. Just seems logical that the more fabric you must wear, the greater the possibilities. Statement coats are a great example of that thinking. My favorite is the Miss 60 (?) patchwork, multi-fabric, multi-texture coat. Fabulous. The icy lavender Everlane coat, yes, I bought that as a gift for Dion, but Dion sends us multiple-choice gift ideas so that we don't fuck up. So it was Dion's eye initially, and then my eye, and that coat was a home run. -Scarves are another example, to me, of being innovative as well as practical in winter fashion. They're an accessory but also functional. So you can do with scarves what you do with e.g. jewelry and belts, you can go radical and not look like a freak. -Personal note, Dion's Manchester City scarf. For English soccer followers and for City fans especially, the date is May 13, 2012, City-QPR. In a lifetime of sports fandom I have never experienced the frisson that I did that day. And when we had one Dion, just out of the shower, in previous despair, took a selfie in her bedroom mirror holding up the Man City scarf. -Query: what about vests? In ski country, they are essential and can be very striking. On women they reveal some curves. Seems like there is real fashion potential there. "Bleak" is common adjective for winter. Whatever the temperature where you are, this will be a long, cold, bleak winter in America.
I recently got a Kermit hat for my winter wardrobe and I love fun beanies for my winter time wardrobe! I have a statement puffer in royal purple and my mom's old teddy coat! I unfortunately am allergic AF to wool but genetics can be a blessing and a curse!
He'll yeah I want you to talk about running and more running essentials/outfits for athletic activities!!! Also I love all ur videos they're so calming omg
