I started as a Gallente almost 14 years ago now. You made a lot of solid points. I would disagree with your training regimen. If you adhere to your basic philosophy (which I agree with) you should train skills of all those agnostic skills (as well as Hybrid turret skills) in the order of quickest to finish for each level. That gets you the most skills first. Faction railguns can use T2 Ammo (which is far cheaper than faction ammo) so training them at least to level 1 to qualify the gun to use the ammo is necessary (and quick, once you have Hybrid V trained). Using Spike on medium and small rails gives them much better hitting power at range that any faction ammo. Using a Web to hit things under your guns is OK, but most of the time, that's what drones are for. Get rid of those pesky frigs that want to orbit too close to hit with rails. I’ve played the game on and off for some years and come to these videos just for the Loru content, but always leave with something new or better understanding of the game. Run-on sentence notwithstanding, Loru is where is at! “You’ve come to the right place.”
I use 8 ammo types in Rail Guns and Blasters; Antimatter, Uranium, Lead and Tungsten, and their 4 Federation variants. This gives a very good spread of effective ranges. Iron is just too weak. Of course you can fire anything you have, but these are they types I manufacturer and use. I use Null when hunting Autothyssian Lancers. To save ISK, I always use the non Faction ammo, unless it is serious.
I see a lot of Gallente fits going on. Do you have a recommendation on Corp for someone who likes armor and drones? I flew with Brave a few years back and am thinking of getting back into EVE but I believe they were mostly a Shield corp
Excellent video! You've almost got me converted to rails. I can only suppose I had a bad experience once upon a time (I'm a 2004 character) and it has biased me against them. There again, perhaps it's because I consider the Megathron and Kronos model to be the ugliest battleship around 😉

Some comments from 5 year-blaster tengu and your Kronos bro) 1. Specialization skill boosts your T2 ammo dmg, not T2 turret dmg. For example, You have T2 gun and T2 ammo - you get bonus. You have T2 gun and navy ammo - you dont get bonus. I dunno if it gives more dmg to navy gun and T2 ammo combo, but who cares cause it goes next. 2. You dont really need a green gun. In case with missiles it works (green launchers have bigger DPS), but with guns its just weird stuff. T2 guns are much better and have the same DPS. And yes, tracking scripts are gods for rail fits)

L4 can be managed, but I mostly did blitz mission for burner standing balance. PVP with small groups in wh and ofc ishtar hunt in null). The last time i was piloting blengu about half a year ago. And it was good in its niche. Even if classic tengu is easier to control and more comfortable.

Comparing to proteus tengu has +50% optimal and only +25% dmg and no tracking bonus, while proteus has +50% dmg and falloff. It is more of "do-or-die dive into your enemy" in Matar style, than trying to orbit your prey like any regular blaster vessel. Its fun, but only if you really get what are going to dive into)
Love your videos, agree with a lot but unfortunately not all that was being said here. Flying also a rail Kronos and just putting my experiences out there. Tracking isn´t needed on rails, you will hit anything from optimal to falloff range without boosted tracking. It seems to me that people that run blasters/autocannons try to boost optimal range and rails/artillary like to boost tracking are like warriors that like to boost intelligence and mages that like to boost strenght, boost the stat that is already high, since its all % based, you will get the most out of it. For example, run 2 tracking computers with optimal ranged script and with Fed Navy Irridium charges you get falloff well beyond 300km, now that is a save range to snipe from.
