The insta-dock can be improved by making that station your next immediate destination...then after entering warp turn on auto-pilot. As soon as you land you dock. No need to spam the dock button. 😊

I didn’t know that, I’ll definitely give that a try. Thank you!

It's not true. It depends on the station and the gate you are warping from, sometimes you will land 0m from the station and sometimes it is >0, you can be targeted and killed during this time. Using Instadock saved spot 0m from the station you don't have to spam the dock button just use auto-pilot after entering a warp.

I don't think I've docked the normal way at Amarr for months. Even when I'm bringing a battleship to and from there I instadock and instawarp. The latter probably causes some confusion to the campers.

For the instant undock, you mentioned putting it out at least 100km from the station; to be able to warp to it you need to be at least 150km away; so I'd recommend making the location bookmark at least 175km away. For instadock, if the station is set as destination, you can start warp to the instadock location, and once in warp click the Autopilot button; that will ensure the dock command is executed RIGHT as soon as you "land."

Be careful dude, Ami is a popular camp system. You can reach that pocket from the other side from Gademan. Much safer to go LS.
Also you can use safe instadock with setting the destination to the station, jumping to the zerodock bookmark, and hit autopilot when in warp. In this case your ship will automatically dock without even be lockable.

Thanks for the advice. Will you be doing more EVE tutorials?
I would really appreciate a detailed exploration guide (data, relic hacking), with different site types, wormholes and stuff.
I'm using your Heron alpha fit.
Some data sites have hostile NPCs for example. Is there a good alpha fit that's able to scan and fight?

I do plan on making some more tutorials!
Glad you are liking the Heron fit!
As for your last question. I haven’t explored that yet, but that is a great video idea. I will try to do a video on that someday.

You did things out of order in your Google doc. Able to see that by using . and , buttons to go frame-by-frame on the video. Good advice. Another good piece of advice is to encourage people to train (faction)Frigate V and Covert Ops skills up so they can use covert ops frigates. Its far cheaper and less risky than relying on an Astero or Stratos. Its better than a Metamorphosis but the Met does benefit from the +2 to warp that can be improved to +4 with a stabilizer.
Sad that Tishy keeps getting banned.

For the mwd cloak trick, i believe it is a tiny bit safer to activate the cloak before the mwd.
Otherwise, depending on how fast you click, you could be targeted between the two actions, because the mwd will make your ship signature larger which makes your ship easier to target lock.

MWD Cloak trick only works for you when your base align time is longer than 10 seconds. Otherwise, you'll just slow down your alignment and warp. There may be some value in being cloaked and slowing down your alignment and warp. Fly safe.

Flying a ship that aligns in 2 seconds will help.

      It sure does!

@@Cypherbyte94 One thing that can help for slower ships is the use of afterburners and MWDs to help get up to speed on slow-align ships where the align time exceeds the duration of 1 cycle of the propulsion mod. Due to how the game really just uses vectors rather than realistic physics, you're always moving in the direction of the destination when you tell your ship to warp regardless of the visual direction of your ship. Therefore if you have a battleship like mine where the time-to-warp is 14 seconds and an afterburner with an 8 second cycle, doing 1 cycle of the afterburner as the ship is 'turning' and accelerating to the destination can reduce that 14 seconds down to more like 8 or 9. Obviously it only works when the propulsion module's cycle is substantially lower than the time-to-warp variable.
Its fun when you start getting used to this tactic and can do it flawlessly. Really cuts down on that annoying acceleration time when you activate an acceleration gate.

They'll just whine about these strategies and try to demand that the developers get rid of insta docking or insta warp. There are pages of them whining on Reddit about how covert ops ships don't decloak when they hit a bubble. Then those same people wonder why lowsec systems are dead and no one wants to visit them.
