Another great podcast. I live in Halifax and played at Siddal with Gaz’s dad, Gary. Really enjoyed this & Love to see the England boys reminiscing about their camps.
I love all these conversations, James. Brilliant, really. Nothing like it, anywhere. You hear in politics these days that "we need to have a conversation". Well, politicians, this is what a conversation is. Mutual respect and interest. And modesty. Thank you.
This blokes toughness is massive...the year he hurt his shoulder...I still can't believe this bloke played on and particularly the manner in which he played!!!!!
absolutely hated James when he was a Bulldog. But once he became a Dragon I completely changed my mind and he quickly became my favourite. He was one of the best buys The Dragons have made in recent years bought a great attitude and commitment to the club and I was devastated that they terminated him, it explains why they are in the position they are in. Gareth was always underappreciated by the media and one of the most exiting players to watch.
Gareth was such a baby at the storm his so old now 🤣 Another great chat with an ex storm boy …love hearing about the storm from ex players thanks James I remember the game Gareth was talking about when he was injured I’d gone up to Gold Coast for the game …I remember them saying the Doctor who operated on him was actually at the game and was called into work he apparently was waiting for the phone call cause he realised how bad the injury was watching the game Your kids know you love them …no matter what
Most under appreciated NRL player to the media i’ve ever seen, bloke was an absolute gun week in week out

Garth was a great player at the Dragons.
So was Gareth. 😁
Another great podcast. You can tell what great mates these 2 are. Right at the end you could see James getting emotional.
Another great podcast.... Would be good to see Jamma interview Willie Mason, Brad Fitler, Joey John's and the hardest man in RL Karl Fairbank

Loved Widdop at the Dragons and was such a shame how things ended. Would love if you could get Ben Hunt on the Podcast at some point

Two legends. Wish Gareth was still in the NRL. Would be great to have a friendship that elicited emotion like James displayed. How awesome.

He’s the biggest waste of money at Castleford, done nowt
I miss Gaz when he was in at George

It’s just a given you play on, in rugby league! You can’t have ever played
Gareth widdups effort that year was one of the most underrated courageous efforts I've ever seen playing footy!!!
