lol, the fact that obsidian, the thing that you can easily shatter with a piece of metal or even stone, is almost stronger then a diamond, the hardest material known to man, is pretty convincing on it's own.

eh, its more like having a bottle of water with the right concentration of bleach. It doesnt glow on its own. But it will redirect light in a way that makes it look like it glows.

Another fall damage hack: use sweet berries. You can fall from any height, but as long as there are sweet berries below you, the damage being taken will shift from falling to the berries. Just hope you can get out of the sweet berries in time.

It's been confirmed to not be a cave update. Many are speculating it may have to do with combat or the nether, the latter of which you mentioned.

Infinite obsidian does exist. You could break the nether portal from one side, use a different portal to go to the nether and enter the portal which leads to the broken nether portal and another portal would appear.

I was just thinking that you could permanently load a chunk of the nether using the dropper and portal trick then put a ton of buckets into a dispenser and automate lava and obsidian super easily. The wither cage nether portal farm requires you to make a wither and do some other stuff, so it’s not super easy and not something that you would do in the first couple hours of a world

The torch "glitch" will never be patched. In Bedrock edition (at least) the game says that if you're digging straight up, place a torch under your feet. So it will never, never, ever be patched. (hopefully)

Going back to that series of pistons at 7:16 taking cobblestone and conveyer-belting it into one space, Mumbo actually did an "unbreakable" door very similar to that a good while ago. It used a system similar to that, but with two layers, and it created a cobblestone wall that, when broken, would automatically replace the block. Cool stuff.
Another thing, if your running out of air in the water, place a torch next to your head, it creates a small air pocket so you can get a air bubble. Then place a torch a bunch of times so you can get full air bubbles. This is pretty useful for exploring ocean monuments.

Me and a friend once made two of those torch sand towers on a server and broke the bottom torches at the same time, which created a huge lag spike. We wanted to try and crash the server but ultimately we were too lazy to build them that big. Instead of a crashed server we got messages in the chat (not privately to us, just general messages) wondering what happened. Pretty fun shenanigans.

@@verde7595 yep, actually glacial blue ice irl does give the illusion of glowing and the best way to do it in Minecraft is to just make it give a low light level with its amazing blue colour.
