Just now finishing up his book. Mind you, I have never heard a Hanoi Rocks song in my life and I've been a rocker for 50 years! I bought it mainly because of his association with the Dolls. I read alot of music bios and I found Sami's book to be most excellent. It's refreshing to read a music bio where the musician isin't strung out all the time and bragging about their sexual conquests. Sami comes across as a true musician and a great guy. Thanks Sami for writing your life story.
I met Sami at Piano Bar. I had been drawn into the club by the extraordinary sounds of Mad Juana. It turned out to be a a life changing year long friendship with many of the band members and Sami. So much happened and happened so fast I'm still remembering days and nights coast to coast, not all great some really low times varying between us all mixed with euphoric experiences most would probably never believe happened! A great regret of mine is no longer being in touch. I'm glad he's landed on his feet and expanded into the great man he is, but maybe wasn't always able to be in the moment. One of the most honest hard working loyal friends I've ever known. Stay safe and well Sami g x✌️🎶🎶
sami yaffa is a true musical legend , european countries like france spain netherlands and italy have never produced a band like hanoi rocks yet finland did,in the 1980s and 90s there were picture disc vinyl interviews of bands put out maybe this was the start of the spoken word for bands
Waste Some Time With Jason Green @ Another splendid interview that you've got on your show, for it is a major surprise that the guys over at The Metal Voice didn't give you and Johnny Monaco the call to join their show for this past weekend's Creature Con(with Ace Frehley,Bruce Kubick, and Vinnie Vincent coverage) coverage since both you and Johnny would have done a much better job on that show's very episode than Mr. Smack-A-Ma-Goob(what the hell that word means).
Great! Love a good biography top of list for when pension comes in lol. Annoys me that can't order signed copies due to ridiculous import fees Grrr. Looking well chaps😃. (Wish Mr Pearcy had narrated his book in his own unique voice!) Thanks.
Unfortunately, Nasty has prostate cancer which was undetected and has consequently metastasised - spread to the bones. It is localised and he it optimistic about the treatment. It hasn't interfered with the current 'Stenfors' project but it doesn't bode well.
Then maybe he needs to embellish and make some shit up for his next book. Why dont you do that for him and send it too him. LOL You dont really understand that an autobiography is a device used to tell someone's life to others. Not put in extra stuff that doesnt exist, to make you happy as the reader.

@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen good deal thanks
Nice!
Hell yeah Hanoi rocks I think he was in the cherry 🍒 💣 bombz as well
No, that was Dave Tregunna. He was in Demolition 23 though.
Listen to the entire interview.
his book is great. I am about 3/4 of the way through.
The way Jason lets the guest talk is so nice. Can't stand interviewers who constantly interupt.
what happened no new shows in 2 weeks, did i miss something?

Sami ain’t spoiled like Stephen. Whole different life long work ethic!
300, 000 per member, Hollywood bowl 100, 000 per member at the whiskey, and the Roxy
Gyp Casino is the original drummer of HR and alive, so hit the road, jacks!

Hope Nasty recovers. And Andy has an addiction problem that makes him hard to work with but who wouldn't want to see one last performance.
Very disappointing book,no depth to it at all,...there`s nothing we didn`t know already in it.
