Thank you for yet another video that makes me smile! I bought one of these from a buddy about 8 months ago (Model 29 from the mid 1980s.) A few boxes of cartridges later, I STILL cannot fire this weapon without giggling. Does it thump your hand? Indeed, it does. But it's a GOOD thump! (And with the weight of this handheld cannon, the recoil has less bite than a .357 Magnum through a 3" Ruger SP101.)
The only good thing about being in my late twenties, living in quarantine, and figuring out how to still have fun with my friends was watching a bunch of classic movies like Dirty Harry 1 2 and 3.
Love Hickock45! Him and Paul Harrel are my two favorite men keeping it real on big YT channels. I just got my ccw and i'm looking for holster recommendations, I think i'm more of a shoulder holster guy under my jacket and not a hip guy. Any recs would be appreciated!

Yes, the Model 29 is one of the greatest handguns ever produced. And yes, the Model 500 is a handgun, too. (Both are amazing for hunting. With these two, you could hunt any animal on the planet)

Yes they are. I prefer the Magna grips on my N Frames where I can find them (just on 27s so far).
I don't have big hands and I've owned that exact same gun with the exact same grips and the thing fit me like a glove.

There is still nothing like the classic Model 29 if you want the best .44 magnum revolver. Clean lines, fun to shoot, can't go wrong.
