    "In my UN-LIVED experience" is actually a huge problem, all these activists, our youth are demanding change or allies to causes they have no experience with. It's about feelings & parroting what they are told is important. I see this in my millennial son who has devolved an attitude in line with many others. Who thinks they have experience, more experience than me & know better than me & anyone else... without the lived experience to form his beliefs.

      @christiansgrignoli3351 we never stop learning, millennials & gen Z experience's & social lives are majority online compared to other generations. Social media is a double edged sword

    • @markandstephaniebrewer3289
      @markandstephaniebrewer3289 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Not all Millennials are the same. Older Millennials grew up without social media and have lots of experience taking care of ourselves more like Gen X. I have also noticed that millennials who grew up poor have a different work ethic than Millennials who had an upper midclaas household. Our poor parents both worked, and we had to learn to be somewhat self-sufficient until your parents got home after work. Poor kids were expected to help out around the house, so you best believe we grew up with a different moral and work ethic.
      That is why I find Vivek to be so powerful because he is young enough to be effective in the role of President, but also he is old enough to take on the roll as our founding fathers required when they created the US President position.

    • @fatmonkey4716

      If you find yourself engaged with one of these younger types, they seem to only try to pick apart your arguments with the weakest link they can find. Make your point to refute their ignorant claims and then remind them that you noticed that they ignored a different part of your argument. Even if they run away from strong arguments or criticism, you have reminded them of personal responsibility, if even for a moment in their goldfish sized memory.

    I do wish when you guys discuss race based affirmative action you could acknowledge that it has played a role in desegregating work environments. I was there in the 70’s when companies were making the decision to hire the first black person. Affirmative action also helped integrate women into the workplace, also something that needed to be done. We no longer need these programs and now they are causing problems, but they served a purpose .

    • @aquamon68
      @aquamon68 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      When we read novels like Robinson Crusoe we see rather crude and racist passages and scholars say that in the times the novel was written it was quite normal to voice these kinds of thougths in public. Then slowly things changed, the sons of those who used slur words against blacks thought it was not the right thing to do. I don't think there was any government movement that compelled them to do so. Therefore I think it was a question of time that hippies for example could come up with ideas like equity in the work place without affirmative action. My point is things would have evolved positively by the will of human consciousness without any directive by those in power. No one ordered men to help their spouses to do chores but they do it nowadays isn't it?

    Well. This is most excellent. Douglas outshines Vivek, sorry Vivek! But they are both quite brilliant. I Douglas weren’t gay I’d….

    Douglas needs to be in Viveks team and Trump if he wins. Trump would agree with all this because Vivek is taking it further forward than Trump did.

    I am sure the community here could answer my understanding of meritocracy… in a class of 10 students, if in case a prospective employer is willing to hire only one.. it’s absolutely clear that the kid who scored 7.76 gets selected and the kid who scored a 4.5 doesn’t stand a chance. That being said the kid who scored 7.75..should he accept this is the way system works? I am sure I have over simplified the broad nature of what the speakers define as merit… let’s assume the score is aggregate of a lot of factors.. (scores in a exam, leadership, etc…)… my view is that the kid who came in second is an ideal candidate for the left to radicalize considering the kid who came second turns resentful and the left would make him feel like a victim blaming the system…. Would be grateful for any thoughts on this!

    What these men are is intelligent 'without' assuming special status for fortune of that gift. It is very common amongst 'true' intellectuals, who, balanced or recovered (from public education), care only about ideas, and not about how they or their gift can be monetized (thought they often become wealthy as a biproduct of their good fortune).
    Those who 'consider' themselves 'elite', for possessing some other 'asset' (usually inherited wealth, beauty, talent, athletic ability, or 'memory, which is used to synthesize intelligence through academic resonance) not widely more given, aren't made grateful and settled by that simple good fortune, what they want is for 'you' to realize, accept, and publicly acknowledge that you are not as 'good' as them.
    They don't, as is incorrectly said of them, always or necessarily additionally want power or wealth. Their egos often and only require your respect and deference. Only those who suffer greater insecurity pursue (as opposed to suffer) fame or celebrity as a broader means to greater evidence of their personal superiority and status above the status quo.
    The architecture of 'elitism' is 'institutional' narcissism.

    Vivek and I hold differing opinions on abortion. From my perspective, the central issue revolves around whether it's a matter of a woman's autonomy over her body during pregnancy or if abortion should be approached as a human rights concern, regulated through political discourse. I believe that the choice to pursue an abortion should be based on physical, environmental, and physiological factors, and should be individually assessed. To truly prioritize the well-being of unborn fetuses, American legislators should invest in pre-fertilization abortion prevention options. By the time abortion is discussed with a patient, it often becomes a yes-or-no choice. My stance involves discontinuing abortion clinics, reducing social and economic barriers to abortion access in the United States, and ensuring that the decision-making process includes the patient, doctor, clergy, father, and family, without undue external influences.

    Trump cannot manage a discussion like this that is why while he was a relatively good president, he still managed to lose his reelection bid and while half of the population adore him to the point of being almost fanatical, the other half are also losing their minds out of hatred for the guy. Americans should support Vivec Ramaswamy. You cannot get anyone better than this dude among the present candiates from both sides of the aisle.
