Right? I'm enjoying it. I could clearly see Danny "paying a Lot of attention" at certain points. He's doing great... no complaints... it's more...that it is just really cool to see world class musicians up there really trying.
@@Jath2112I was thinking that during the show….how fun the rehearsals must’ve been and what a thrill it must be to play these songs live. The shared joy of music!
Tony Levin, a year ago with Peter Gabriel, was so relaxed and having fun that he was clearly just full of joy. Here, he's still obviously having fun but is highly focused on the technical challenges of what he's playing. And Peter Gabriel's music isn't exactly easy, so that really shows just how difficult this music is and what incredible musicians we're lucky enough to see in our lifetimes!
Mr. Vai really can play anything that he wishes to. Especially if someone writes it down, or if he takes the time to transcribe a piece of music. This is, of course, how he came to work for Frank. He is up to the task like no one else.
I was really wondering whether he could meld his style into KC as well as he does and he didn't disappoint. His lead work on Sheltering Sky, Neal and Jack and his take on Frame By Frame are all classy, technically brilliant, respectful to Robert and still unique to him
Belew has to have at least 4-5 brains. Look at what all he's doing during this. Pedals, playing, singing at the same time. That's serious stress, but he always seems happy, so... :)
Vai kills it here. I like that he puts his own distinct take on the solo rather than just copying one of Robert's, he shows in Sheltering Sky that he can mimic Robert's tones and style quite well as it is
Tony Levin is a master of his instrument!!!
Vai gets better now hitting the tone. Nice solo.
Belew still has that energy.
Danny & Steve will continue to find the rug, and Tony & Adrian will continue to tug upon it.
Yeah, Ade's voice sounds great.
This is awesome and speaks of amazing Bill Bruford is. For Danny Carey to be challenged by his parts is wild.
DC’s snare drum is so much lower (not good or bad, but takes a min to get used to).
Maybe it’s different in the room….

All of them naturally, but it’s a beautiful sight to see Steve and Danny reveling in this challenge and outcome🌞
meanwhile Tony and Adrian are just having a blast ripping through this meaty material
Seeing them in October in Cincinnati. It’s already sold out! Can’t wait! These cats are the professional’s professionals.
Yep…I’m there!
Steve is cooking!
I had my doubts about Vai but I like his take on these tunes and that SOLO was awesome!

I have realised Vai always tries different ways of solo at the ending. Thanks for uploading this
I love beat!
It's great how everyone is uploading this tour, they all know how momentous this is. I NEVER thought I'd see these songs live.
I like it!😅
Absolutely brilliant!

I have no idea who that long haired guy is who playing the drums, but boy does he rock!!
Danny Carey (TOOL drummer)

Ill take it
Poll: which of the two rugs do people like the most?
You know Danny’s is the coolest, just can’t see it
Adrian's
Terrible audio!
You’re right, but I’ll take this over no audio at all
i dont get what are you expecting of a cheap camera recording, you can totally tell the sound was crystal clear on the theater
Terrible comment!! Tell mommy to clean your ears and limit screen-time.
Really? That's the take you post? Did you happen to notice the AWESOME display of musicianship
