Great software if it could handle more than test sized data sets. Unfortunately grinds to a halt merging just 2 data sets with 3000 rows and about 50 fields.
Thanks a lot for the tutorial. I am getting cross products using inner join - Could you please recommend how to solve it in Prep. I do not see where to mention cardinalities. Thanks in advance
Is there any way to speed up the data cleaning stage? 5,000 rows (with a computer that ranks in tests of speed in the 99th percentile) takes ages any time a change is made or simply loading the view of about 6 fields at a time. So slow it is faster going into excel and looking at the filters. If the software was 100x faster... would be so good, but too slow to use atm.
I found a link for the upcoming Washington, D.C. roadshow data sets. Hopefully they are the same files used here. www.tableau.com/community/events/new-day-data-washington-dc-2018-08-02
Hi there, Thank u so much for the information. You were absolutely spot on. They are the same datasets which was used earlier. Please keep helping the Tableau Community at large the same way in future. Cheers. Natasha

Tableau is really powerful. i like it, these features really saves time
Is there any way to get the link for the data set? I don't understand why Tableau would not give us the chance to actually practise this excercise
I found it with a quick google. Top result.
It would be helpful if you had attached the excel files you have used

At what point in the flow process would you handle leading and trailing spaces, especially when they are in the fields that you use for join clauses?
How do we get the data file to follow the whole process?
Where can I find the datasets?
Where is the dataset for join practice? 2016 internet users and excel file. Can someone plz share it
Can't believe that there is no data set for us to practice? Can you please upload the Dataset so that we can practice? Thanks

That's was really good! Thanks for the lesson.
how do we get the csv file to follow the whole process?
Computer science degree doesn't like writing an ETL to transform data? That's the best part....
After the split, it's not coming the new field in join, can you suggest?
for each action, like split country or join two excel files, does the DATA PREP create a new data or just command of the action?
Thanks a lot for the tutorial. I am getting cross products using inner join - Could you please recommend how to solve it in Prep. I do not see where to mention cardinalities. Thanks in advance
really didn't understand how I'll be able to find the data set?

Agree with you Pankaj ... but for a newbie, it will be really helpful if we can follow through with same data set used in presentation

Recommendation! When you make videos you should respond to comments
