- The 5th and final Spectator Drags of the year from Oxford.
"Class A" Street legal cars and trucks race 1-on-1 for one lap on the oval track. Winner moves on loser goes home. Final two cars race best of 3 for the win!

After all the trouble I had with the Mustang this summer, this was a nice ending to the season. Even though I was having trouble getting into 2nd gear, the car performed well and I went home happy. Congratulations to Ben Lahey on an awesome run and a great win! Thanks as always Carbon, we really appreciate what you do!

Robert Hill I wanted to record them all but my phone was about dead at that point. I was only able to get George Duns burn out. I wish they didn’t do 3 cars at once

That was an exciting afternoon! I was happy to see Ben Lahey to pull off a clean race against Lyman, see Robert back out with the Mustang, see Kyle back in action with the Capri, getting to see Chelsea having fun once more, just getting to go to these events in person and then get to see them at a different angle later on makes it even more fun. Thank you so much for posting these videos, Carbon!

It's always so sad when the races end for the winter. They bring me such joy. I love love love watching the same people every week get better and better. Also, that Audi was a beast, lol.

Thank you, I appreciate the support! The Mustang wasn't very active this year due to several mechanical issues but this was a solid end to a rough season. Hopefully we'll be back next year with a few improvements!

@@carnationvideos4258 I've got a pretty long list of suspension and Driveline upgrades. The engine and transmission are still stock, for now. Future plans are a Tremec 6-speed transmission and a new engine with a Kenne Bell supercharger.

@@carnationvideos4258 plan from the beginning has been to super charge it but I didn't want to put all that power onto worn-out stock suspension parts. My goal is to get it around 450 to 500 horsepower. Nothing too crazy, just enough to have fun with.

I jumped out of my seat when I saw the Audi take out the white Cutlass... The white Cutlass should be banned for a few months after what he did to the Audi a few races back.

I did my first spectator drags back in September at the old airport (1/4 mile runs) and I beat a 4 cylinder Fusion, and a V6 Hyundai Tiburon, but got walked by a Trans am, SO much fun. I'm buying a new to me car this week, and can't wait to go back in may!

He will do so much better if he were to stiffen his suspension as big and beefy as his truck is the weight of his pick up makes it loose and sloppy around the corner and needs to be stiff would be so much better I can clearly see he has Superior horsepower it just needs to stiffen around the corner

Great to see the rematch between the Audi and the Cutlass. Glad it was clean and we got to see who had the fastest car. Not gonna lie... a lil piece of me wanted too see what would've happened had he gotten to that rear bumper!
It looked like it might happen again. The Audi jumps out with the AWD, but the Cutlass was looking for a way to get around him but couldn't

Audi needs a stage 2 or 3 tune, and it will WALK that gutlass. S4s are really quick with the the right parts. Significantly quicker than any NA v8 car.

I too am glad the audi got a win in, because they have been at it for a while and it feels like the underdog... but i'll tell you hwat bobby..i just bought an 84 cutlass supreme today because of the ones i see in these videos. they just look badass and sound great.

As an owner of a Black WS6 exactly like that one, I'm happy he started with a drift, mad he didn't push the car a little harder. Those WS6s are built to turn, he coulda hung in there with a bit more throttle
Pretty sure that was his first time out there. This is a lot harder than it looks.

You do realize your SRT Neon is one of the best handling US FWD compacts ever produced along with Fiesta ST, Focus RS and good old Cobalt SS Turbo, shame to see this specially when I hear your loud blow-off valve releasing boost !!!

I've never seen drag races in a circular format before. I could win that type of event in my Corvair, as its suspension would rule the day. I'd just stomp the go pedal and smile. lol
Yeah cause the Corvair is known to be a great handling machine and all, history states the opposite and anyone saying "I'd win it all" never even raced for real yet.
A fast, well handling SRT-4 lost to a mundane Accord cause the Accord chick is a better driver so cars don't mean much here without skilled hands on the wheel.....those are "spectator drag" races meaning the spectator can see the start and finish, in drag racing you only see the start line and need a clock to call the race 100%.
@@g00dl00kinb0i You obviously have only read some abstract bit of the history of the Corvair, as they have been doing quite well on the SCCA circuit and were the very first Yenko cars to be produced. Why? Because their 4-wheel independent suspension was superior to the standard solid axle car and they weighed in under 3K lbs. And, yes, I have raced before and all in Corvair and many top three finishes and several wins under my belt. Do some research before spouting off about a car you have zero experience with. Keyboard warrior.

Not to mention that it happened some 50 years ago using a race car version not a stock road car, in the end the car was discontinued due to shady handling and is one of GM's biggest failed attempts right next to the mid-engined Corvette that didn't become true for 6 decades, now we have a 2020 C8 and the Corvair is still a failed attempt from the past.
BTW: There was a modded dark blue Corvair racing on Seekonk or another oval, it was out with the FWD junk by the time the 1st round was done !

If there were enough competitors I’m sure they would have a separate class for AWD and 4x4, which would make it more fair for the other competitors here, but alas they have to work with what they have
Still a ton of fun to watch, but is almost a bit disappointing to see the Audi win when it’s by far the easiest vehicle there to drive (just point and squirt, not much skill to it)
