- Spectator Drags from Oxford Plains Speedways Armageddon of Destruction event, the final of the season. Street legal cars and trucks race 1v1 for one lap around the track with the winner moving on until it's down to two cars, then they race the best 2/3 to determine the winner!

So proud of my niece Haley in the Subaru. She's spent many evenings at the drag strip this summer learning how to launch that car and it's paying off. The smile on her face after this was priceless! Can't thank you enough, Carbon, for being there and doing what you do!

Why didn't we see the Mustang racing?
When I heard her name was Hill, I wondered if there was any relation. Super cool!
That is awesome! She's off to a great start, good seeing some new cars joining.
@@effyfil4277 the Mustang has a broken radiator. It will be back next year with a few new upgrades. I ran my other Mustang in the B class.

The AT&T truck ... are you kidding?!? Incredible. Love this stuff. Wish we could get type of racing in Texas (LOL as F1 rolls into my town this weekend, I'll take Spectator Drags action over that any day). Glad I can enjoy this stuff on TH-cam, appreciate the content.

1:45 that moment when all the hard work you've put into a slow car to make it look like another backfires and you're actually paired against the car you're impersonating.
He's not trying to make it look like anything other than what it is, a modified turbo Corolla. He was nervous since he's never done anything like this before so he took it easy and just made a lap. That car is well built and plenty fast enough. Once he gets some confidence, he'll show what it can do. At least he had guts enough to get out there and try it. I didn't do any better my first time out there, it's a lot harder than it looks.
@@roberthill1208 it's fwd he'll never win against real cars. I plan on bringing mine out one day hopefully I can get a run in against you to see what a stock mercedes can do against a veteran in a mustang!

I am honestly shocked at that surprise finish. I did not expect it to be that competitive. Like most, I assumed the at&t truck had a gimme victory coming. It was definitely fun to watch. Awesome driving by both drivers!
The Corolla had a hood scoop, spoiler, Enkei rims and those awesome mud flaps.....I guess I expected more.
The car is fast, he's just never done anything like this before. He'll be back.

What I think would be interesting to see is if you included at the end an interview with the guys that did not go on Green. I would love to hear what happened.
There are two lights in turn 1, one on the inside and one on the outside. Most of us use the outside light because it changes a little quicker but that one wasn't working. Caught a few guys off guard.

At&t truck was fast on take off. But the Olds was faster on top end and handling

What's spinning up in the AT&T truck before the start? Is that launch control or nitrous or what?
Its a single turbo setup.

One laper knee slapper. That truck is a one laper hereo. Add another lap or two and results would be much different. The truck is cool but the suspension is so sorry that it has to take advantage of a good launch for a race win. Just plain boring

I bet if white Oldsmobile guy lost, he'd be crying about the damage on his car, but he has no problem bumping other people off the track when he's about to be passed. You can even see it here how he tries to bump off the truck.

I'm pretty sure it was a play on words. The car is probably a Buick regal with a Oldsmobile cutlass front end. Or something like that.

Without a doubt, this was the worst, least enjoyable spectator drags video I've watched.
