That's a great effort and probably the direction I woukd have done it as well. A few friends here in WA have done it and said don't when I said I was considering it. After seeing the rocky terrain, and the scrambles involved and considering my 70+ age, I'm thinking Yeah but Nah. Kudos for your great presentation and commentary. Thanks shiploads.
Thanks 👍. Yes, it is a rocky trail but people still manage to do it but often at a much slower pace than me. But if that is what makes it achievable for people than that is great.
Amazing video, thank you. Very inspirational and I have taken lots of notes for when I walk the Larapinta trail. A couple of questions. 1. did you ever feel unsafe? 2. Did you run into many snakes or dangerous wildlife. Thanks again for a great video.
Thanks. It is a great trail. 1. No, I never felt unsafe. 2. I was expecting snakes but didn't see a single one! Closer to Alice, I had a couple of dingos outside my tent, but I yelled at them like a mad person and they went away. Oh and a mouse in one of the shelters trying to get my food. So I hung both my food bag and pack from the rafters. Enjoy the trail
Enjoyed! New sub from US- Kansas
This trail and overall atmosphere are magnificent! Watching this just makes me feel good and motivated my friend!
