I have been using the KDMLR wireless from Amazon for about 3 years now. I was amazed like you, that the noise cancelation is very robust, I record weekly in my noisy apartment, and unless the fire alarm is on I don't stop for noises anymore. The mic has a decent range too. Cost me $9. The best bargain in camera gear I ever spent if I overlooked my $19 RCA EZ101 digital video camera that started me on TH-cam in 2007. My phone would initially not work with my mic until I downloaded the free Open Camera app for my old Samsung A21 phone.

I use these. They were a massive improvement over the external mic provided with my Campark ACT 74 action camera. They work well on my Casio SK-1 keyboard too. I sometimes use a splitter so I can utilize both mics at once into a single input. Some kinds of the cheap little pocket sized inline headphone amps will give you bigtime mic boost with adjustable gain when plugged into the output of these mic's receivers, it's a suuuper touchy hot, loud signal. Yeah, like you said, I don't know how they can sell these for so cheap. They're so handy and work xlnt!

Considering the price, it sounds alllllll right. The second mic definitely sounds better on headphones!!
I have been using these mics for several months... I saw them on eBay and took a chance, and man was I surprised! They state you can go to 20 ft with these but... I was lucky to get 15...
I also use them for just audio, and I do have to sync it up in post. I have came up with a work around, so it isn't to bad to edit to my Cannon.

For $20 (and $6?!) the quality is kind of crazy. How's the lag? Did you have to sync the audio in a video editor afterwards?

@@knoptop oh I meant was the audio out of sync with your mouth at all due to delay/lag from it being a wireless system? Maybe I'm too used to dealing with lag from wireless controllers in video games 😅

I bought. Cheap wireless mic the best thing about it was came with a pice for my iPhone now my rode mic go 2 can be used on my phone. I planned to get that one your using to see how it does
Also... make sure they're fully charged before you use them for a video or interview. I use a mic like that for Zoom interviews I do (I'm a journalist), and during one interview the mic suddenly died before I finished the interview because it had juice but wasn't fully charged. I had to end the call because I wasn't sure what was wrong at first, just that the person I was interviewing suddenly couldn't hear me.

I like the good for cheap reviews. The mics are all probably basically the same but if not, you have to pick a personal favorite I suppose. Noise cancelling is good in some respects but sometimes it can sound like one is talking underwater if that makes any sense. Too bad it couldn't be turned off as an option. With all that said, I always think about how good something sounds compared to what pro film makers used many, many years ago and just how far tech has come with such things. Now I gotta get me one. Thanks for the review.

If I ever do anymore videos on my channel, I'd probably snag one of these. My production value is on the low side and I don't give a fudge as long as people can understand me, I'm good. This mic set up doesn't seem that bad at all actually. 👍

I think it's an 'American Robin'. I've been using the 'Merlin Bird ID' app to identify birds when I'm in the yard. It listens to the sound and can ID them. Oh and the microphone sounds beautiful
