I had this on my ancient PC as a kid, and it crashed without fail after completing the final set of doors, so after 25 years I’ve finally seen what comes next. But gutted there’s not a final Bowser stage. Thanks for uploading!

Ah the memories of waking up early before school and playing this game. The soundtrack features some pretty great remixes of more well-known SNES Mario tunes.
I remember playing this when I was 8. I was so stoked about it, and learned how to use ms dos to play it. Then it crashed halfway through my play through and I could never progress.
I know it would be evil, but I kind of wish Nintendo would just randomly give the Mario license to crap developers to make random low-quality Mario games on non-Nintendo platforms. Imagine getting a mainline Mario game at the same time a Hotel Mario game is released on PC, it would be terrible but it would be beautiful.
"do this again... 24 MORE TIMES" I see this game subscribes to the Super Solvers/JumpStart 3rd Grade school of design. The original floppy release of Treasure MathStorm may rank as one of the best gameplay-to-file size ratios ever. It's amazing what you can do by literally writing math to make infinite math equations, when all those other games have to make do with content produced by hand. As for people giving it a hard time because it's a Mario game, I feel that's fair, just out of the sheer amount of times I've seen people saying they got "tricked" into renting/buying the console versions because it had Mario on it. This isn't exactly the best use of $60 you can find on the NES/SNES, and even other third-party Mario products (Super Mario RPG) were known for being high-quality.
Everyone is pointing out the origin of Weegee, but nobody is talking about the scary ass sound Yoshi makes when it eats a Pokey! Yoshi's digestive resonance is terrifying!
The first interation with the koopalings/ their deaths. 2:49 we see Larry. 52:51 Larry get burned. 53:21 we se Roy. 1:45:05 Roy gets burned. 1:45:30 we see Wendy. 2:23:36 Wendy gets burned. 2:23:57 we see iggy. 3:02:44 iggy gets burned. 3:03:19 we see Ludwig. 3:49:30 Ludwig gets burned.
I was so convinced that the snes version is the only copy that existed and this one is a fever dream. It really takes me back in the days when I play around DOS games
I thought it was gruesome seeing Bowser freeze and break apart into icy pieces in the SNES version but burning down the koopalings to a crisp in the MS DOS version is even more gruesome yet funny.
The hell is that voice acting LMAO?🤣 Gotta love how they didn't even bother editing the dialogue boxes so it matches the new voice overs. Like this dude here (4:30).
I like how instead of the koopalings just retreating or falling like most Mario games when you defeat them, luigi just fucking kills them with the fire flower 💀

Literally now that I’ve seen Weegee a million times this game feels like a fan made game
It technically is, seeing as it was made by The Software Toolworks and not Nintendo. Nintendo just approved the licensed use of their IP.
6:34 That taxi driver was definitely on some sort of drug

its slower for me
I love how this was clearly voiced by developers sitting around the office. Adds a lot of charm, to be honest.

Because it's the meme of yoshi he's yopi
Ah, the origin of the Weegee meme.
xD
At this point, I don't see Mario and Luigi. I see Malleo and Weegee.
Malleo and Weegee are wacky Super Mario parody character names! Very creative and imaginative.

Knowledge Adventure doesn't have any part of the game whatsoever.
Also, you forgot that the game was the origin of the Weegee meme.
Koopalings's deaths are mature in this Mario game.
came for weegee, stayed for the pretty good dialogue
While this game might not have the 'best' of reputations, it was one of the games I absolutely adored as a kid. Thanks for the throwback!

this game actually baffles me to think nintendo gave the OK to release this
I guess It was whem Nintendo was Just giving their licences to anyone. I think Nintendo din't have much to do with the game.

I didn't LOVE it, but as a kid, I enjoyed this game purely because it had mario in it. It was very buggy on my system though, and frequently crashed
The origin of Malleo and Weegee

This game screams so much weird. Also, WEEGEE.

This game reminds me of an NES version back in O'Neal School that we played.

That's because both games were made by the same team
