    - have only 6 attempts and that too till the age of 30 to crack UPSC while a sc person has unlimited attempts
    - and after all this, have to accept the same salary as a reserve category person

The reason why such people leaving India is not a very bad situation is because in India there is no such cases of 'empty' job seats. So instead of being a wasteful human resources they are doing what they can in other countries thereby helping humanity as a whole. Also did I forget to mention almost every big businessmen in India work at foreign countries for some time. So it's not a very bad thing as Indians thought it would be. Well I don't know about all these reasons..... I can tell you why I am leaving Indian citizenship. I'm moving to New Zealand this September because I got a job there as a clinical psychologist that is literally paying me 4 times better pay(not even exaggerating) and also giving me benefits. I found better friends there, ones who don't judge others for class differences( something I experienced here), people are much more mindful about each other. I also find myself planning financially to purchase a house and it's honestly so much easier as everything is clearly defined and easier to access online. The added things I get is which might not seem very important others but is somewhat important to me is that, I can access better brands and services that aren't available in India , I get to go to my favorite concerts every now and then, I get to play basketball with my people in my neighborhood almost every weekend, I feel like I have more freedom than before because I dress the way I want without having to think if people would stare at me and I can just be myself without having to justify myself to an aunty or uncle. 🤝✨️
EDIT- Wow, I really did not mean to trigger everyone by this, I was just telling the good reasons for moving abroad (something I noticed none of the people in the video talked about) Some of y'all really went as far as asking me to get out 😅 like this hostility speaks for itself. Grow up guys, it's okay to move for better opportunities and lifestyle. Everything isn't about nationalism and desh bhakti, it's okay to be realistic about these situations and ask yourself about the actual pros and cons of moving.
It's not easy to pick up your life and just move, you need to ask yourself hard questions like am I secure enough financially and emotionally to pull this through? Am I or will I be able to find good community there? How safe and how diverse is the place? It's difficult yet it's worth it to me.

As a Malayali with umpteen family members abroad, I can tell you why:
    1. Most Indians are only seasonally patriotic (Independence Day, Republic Day). They don’t have the same connection that an American or a Russian feels towards his flag.
    2. Opportunities are few and far in between (especially in Kerala) for the educational standards that most people have. And govt jobs in India are dominated by North Indians.
    3. Reservation. There’s a level playing field abroad which is meritocratic.
    4. Living standards. My aunt who’s a registered nurse in the US and makes less than me PPP-wise, can afford a much better and easier life due to the infrastructure, law and order and environmental standards there. I love visiting them and enjoying that for a few weeks every year.
Giving up your citizenship in times of peace for the betterment of your family is not wrong. However, if you’re in the middle of a war and you’re doing it to avoid a draft, then it could be different. There are enough people in India to take care of that at the moment anyway so..

@MasteroMatter + having an European passport means you can visit almost any country of the world without needing the complicated documentation and long waits required to get a visa (Europe has on average around 184 countries visa free between their country members with some like Germany or Spain being at 190, India has 60 visa free destinations) also just with the personal I.D card from your own country if you are European you can go stablish yourself on almost any other country of the European Union without having to give any explanations to anyone, you literally can get on a train or plain, move to another country and just start working there, change the tax system you live under and eventually become a citizen of that new country if you want. This is very practical if you want to make the most out of your profession, lifestyle and projects since every country has different culture, climate, and most importantly tax system and state management. In some places you might be paying more taxes as a business and less as an individual self-employed professional or salary worker while on others businesses have lower taxes and simpler burocracy, it's your choice where you live and where you work, some countries here like stonia don't even require people to be physically there not even a single day in their life to get a citizenship or run businesses, it's crazy.
Another particular advantage about European passports it's the fact that most countries here give you the choice of having double or some even triple nationality, India doesn't allow that to happen, you either have Indian citizenship only or you can't have their passport.
The price of superior education is another thing to consider, it's not the same all across Europe but you can study in the best public universities of this continent, which are well ranked globally, with big discounts compared to foreigners, even when the prices for most degrees are already very low compared to those in countries like China, South korea, United states, India...or directly even free in countries like Germany . All that without considering scholarships which are not that hard to get. Most definitely you won't be ending college with debt no matter your income as long as you do pass exams.

Apart from just what an European passport, our relationship with the international community or what having euro means, I could keep talking for ages about not so strictly relevant things that I like from Europe that I can't get elsewhere honestly like the architectural history or the quality of the gastronomy on places like Italy, Greece, spain.
There are of course also things i do dislike tho, like the existence or NATO, the slightly limited independence each country has to not follow the E.U agenda, how bad we might be looking like in 20 to 30 years from now or the fact that Europe pretty much looks like United State's dog in terms of global decision making which leads to things like what we are seeing on Ukraine these days... But overall I do feel privileged to have grown here.

Digging at the end of the historical tunel you'll find that Europe's advanced position is built upon exploitation and dependence on faraway lands, one of them being India. I know that's not directly related to your comment but the statement seemed too shallow to ignore😅

Last person is soo correct. Indians after a certain amount of time they are coming back. In this period they earn in dollars and come to India and convert it into rupees and settle down in life in India comfortably. This is actually happening with India. Those million number doesn't even matter comparing to our population

You know that the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, is part of LGBT? So you would send away people out of India who might be just as talented and business driven as Tim Cook, just because you disagree with lgbt? If this doesn’t change, that is why India stays poor.

The last guy spoke my heart, am living abroad since 7 years, and yes Bharat Mata ka jo pyaar hai no other European and western country can replace. I will come back to India, sooner or later. Bharat mata ki jai. 🇮🇳 Ps - Only those who have never lived abroad would say about giving up Indian Citizenship, an experienced person will never say this without giving second thoughts. Life is not so easy abroad, even if you earn a lot, money is not everything.
