When I was in the Marine Corps there was this “kid” his parents had to sign papers to get him in. I kinda took him under my wing because I had younger brothers. We had to do a beach run and he wanted to quit. I started singing this song to get him motivated to finish the run. MCRD San Diego!

I ended up as an a special operator with 3 car ribbons ( never signed up for that!!) But I always felt that I would have let him down if I gave up.
So please clarify for someone that happens to be ignorant on this subject (that ignorant person is obviously me haha). A kid can be in the service if the parents sign papers?? Props to you for taking him under your wing and using music help him help himself to not give up. I like stories like this. Taking the time to give a crap can make a huge difference in a person's life. You're awesome. Most people don't take the time.
This has to be one of the most chilled laid back things these guys have done. It looks like they are all sitting round a camp fire passing around a bottle of whiskey while having a sing song. And it looks like they enjoyed it which is so nice to see all the smiles on their faces.

I saw them up in Newcastle. best gig I've ever witnessed. amazing band, not just the vocals, but the passion in their playing. absolutely fantastic. their albums actually do them justice, they sound 99.9% the same as they do on their records, live. I'm not exaggerating either! Halestorm supported these guys and I tell you something, they aren't half bad either!

My favorite human being in this world, Chris (RIP MY SWEET BROTHA) turned me on to these talented musicians and their unique sound right after their 1st album came out and I've been captivated by their melodicdies and poignant messages in their lyrics. Would love to see them in concert...1st on my BUCKET LIST. Hope to be able to see them soon.... Guys keep on rock in...cuz this ole gal sincerely and truly loves your music!!! Bless y'all for keeping it real and bearing your souls through your songs... Your honesty and depth of subject matter hasn't gone unnoticed even by those of my generation....
