Yeah, they only included the scene where he's trying to see her face, to build tension. He had every reason in the world to tell Tywin who she was, and then have her brought to Cersei, and literally no reason to stay quiet. The only time he saw her, he was sitting behind her, and she looked completely different. And there would be no reason at all to think she could be bringing Tywin Lannister his lunch.
Remember.. Roz, who had the conversation w Shae, is a Northerner.. she said ‘I grew up in the shadow of her father’s castle..’ Northerners are loyal.. she is also the same Roz from Tyrion when we met him in Winterfell, & Theon in Winterfell, & she is the story Jon told Sam about at Castle Black.. Roz is underrated..
Charles Dance (Tywin) had a really hard time filming his scenes with Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) because of how he had to constantly mock his dwarfism. Charles said he had to profusely apologize to Peter after ever scene, even though Peter said it was fine lol
Sign of the times, I'm afraid. Like...why would an actor apologise for their character saying mean things, in a show where other characters are literally murdering and raping people, and the actors feel no need to apologise. I dunno why we're all so protective over certain groups who never asked for it, and probably find it patronising. Apologising seems even more insulting, to me. Cus it's basically suggestiong that what you're saying or doing, extends beyond the fiction of the story.
Margery is probably like 75% power play and 25% honestly decent person. I think she enjoys helping people but also realizes how you have to play people.
6:40 Salador Saan makes the offer to pass on Davos' remains to his wife as a necklace because that's what Davos had been doing with his own knuckle bones till the Battle of Blackwater. Davos' backstory is mentioned in passing in a convo between Stannis and him in S2 but gets sort of glossed over - you already know he used to be a smuggler but became a knight after resupplying the besieged and starving Stannis with smuggled onions. For this he was knighted as a reward but Stannis at the same time - dutiful and strictly adherent to the rules as he is - he also punished him for his crimes of smuggling by chopping of the fingertips of one of his hands. Davos would go on to wear them in a pouch around his neck and deeply respect Stannis for his sense of justice. His inner monologue in the books explains his fierce loyalty to Stannis better than a show ever could but they still did a great job with him in the show imo.
It's kind of funny that none of the GoT reactors seem to catch on to the blue-stained lips and the disappearance/reappearance of the "little girl". Maybe if she was holding up a SIGN that said "I'm a warlock from the House of the Undying"..…🤔
Absolutely fantastic reactions, Chandra & Jordan! Loved hearing your assessment of Margery’s intentions & endgame. I realize this was recorded long ago & you know *_so_* much more, but I thought you were spot on. And your reaction to the “nipple removal” was entertaining and appropriate! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more. Cheers!
Mel was right and Davos was wrong. If she was at the Blackwater, things would have been different. He doesn't understand her, so he fears her and thinks of her as a danger to Stannis.
What made Jon and Tormund/Mance scene so unique was that Jon never lied. He never lied about what happened between he and Caster and LC Mormont, nor the dialogue. He mayn’t had told the entire story and context, but it was enough to get a disguising visage for the Wildlings.
I'm of the opinion that Tywin heard of the great job in administration and then the great job in defending the city that Tyrion did, and Tywin started to get jealous, and that is why Tywin comes down on Tyrion they way he did.
I think Tywin is too arrogant to be jealous of Tyrion, but hearing any significant praise of him would definitely trigger a sense of denial and prompt him to dismiss the good things, because they conflict with his fundamental bias and hatred towards Tyrion because of his stature, the loss of his mother, and the overall feeling Tywin has that all his children have been disappointments unworthy of succeeding the great leader he has been to House Lannister. I find his tightly wound ball of toxic relationships to all his children to be pretty unique characterization haha.
Oh Littlefinger didn't recognize Arya in Harrenhal. Otherwise he would have pounced on the information. He was lying to Sansa about seeing her, implying that Arya is safe with Catelyn... which she is most definitely not.
It seems like he must have. He met Arya and Sansa in season 1. He looked at Arya as if he did recognize her, but wasn't sure if telling Tywin immediately was the right move to make. Still, if he did recognize her he should have taken some action. Seems like his plans would benefit from helping Arya get back north to Catelyn - and maybe he was planning to try something, but Arya disappeared before he could make his move.
No, I believe he did recognize her but would only give up the information if it suited his desires. Giving up the information to Tywin wouldn't have benefited his desires.
He did recognize her! He didn't tell Tywin because he wanted to keep that secret knowledge in his back pocket until it became an advantage to him! That has always been Littlefinger's M O! (Playing both sides!) He is always playing the game, as long as it suits him!
Wait...the real Vancouver? From the rest of your message I assume you mean Vancouver, BC...but was anyone questioning that was the real Vancouver? I'm not even sure the Portlanders living across the river from Vancouver, WA think of that when someone says "Vancouver" haha. (Now which one is the real Portland, that's the question...)
@jerodast yes Vancouver, WA is where Fort Vancouver is on the Columbia River. It was a fort at the end of Oregon Trail run by the Hudson Bay Company that sent settlers south. You can visit a recreation of the fort here.
That earthworm jim/ash shirt is AWESOME!
Good call. I could tell it was Earthworm Jim, but I had no idea why he had a chainsaw and a shotgun 😄Thanks for the clarification.
9:42 I believe there is a chance Littlefinger is lying about seeing her sister, but just as much of a chance he noticed her and didnt say anything.
He absolutely would have said something if he truly did notice her, I believe he's lying to Sansa

i like how dragons are the most dangerous and feared things in the show and yall are just "awww how cute" lol
Haha Most dangerous AND most adorable

I feel their family loves being loved. They play politics with class vs war, but playing politics still
Oooo well put

What the Hell would anyone who had been fighting on Joffrey's side, be doing on a little rock in the middle of the bay?
In the books the Unsullied would be given a puppy to love, but would later have to kill the puppy after the bond was made.
9:02 - Well, that's exactly how we met Tyrion in episode 1. He's more than that, sure, but he is also that.
Good start for the season. Hang on, its going to get bumpy.
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
15:10 remember, she has SOME money, they took everything of value when they left the last city at the end of S2
Probably the best season
Happy New Year guys
15:52 Warlock like Pyatt Pree that stole Daenerys' dragons

Thank you!! ❤
I think the girl that attacked Daenerys was from the sorcerers of Qarth, because she had blue lips.
I may be wrong about that.
Mel was right and Davos was wrong. If she was at the Blackwater, things would have been different. He doesn't understand her, so he fears her and thinks of her as a danger to Stannis.

I see you're an Earthworm Jim fan :D
I like when reactors don't use subtitles, as they often are spoiler-y.
The irony is in Astapor scenes it might be better to actually use them.
I think they probably did see the subtitles for the Valyrian speech, as Chandra said "He's so crude"?
Chandra didn’t do the eyebrow flash…… I’m sad

The child had black lips.. Kinda reminds us of someone else who had black lips and could use magic.. yes?
Love you guys. Season 3 is the best season.
