Thank you! I agree and not just because she is my favorite, but she was set up episode one to go on that journey to be the Commander (Jon) trained sniper/assassin.
It's.about.time! Can't believe yall held onto this for TWO WEEKS and started these other shows. SAVAGE! That Arya moment is worthwhile. Still has me in tears!
These are the only people I've ever seen react like me when Arya hit the Mike Jordan switch hands on the Night King. She is just too nice with it. Most people are haters on it though. Most people name their swords too, and we know what The Hound thinks of those people.
@kennyhudson9201 most people hate on it because it made no sense for her to be the one to kill him. The show differs greatly from the books like that lol. She had no connection to the night king unlike Jon who was brought back and prophecised to be the one to fight the night king ends up doing nothing.
@ GRRM is the master of turning fantasy and tropes on their heads. He would most definitely introduce a "prophesied to defeat the big bad" type of character and then have that character not be the one to do it. That's why the Red Wedding worked. Because people swore Robb was being set up to avenge his father. Arya, in both the books and the show, has just as much, if not more, of a connection with death than Jon does, and that includes the fact that he died. Because, he doesn't remember anything about being dead, so it had no real effect on him anymore than someone surviving a near death. Arya, worked for death, via one of his avatars the Many Faced God. She has killed many. Sorry to say this, but I think even thinking that it made no sense for her to kill him is nonsensical hate. It wasn't the MOST obvious possible hero. But it wasn't the least. It was the 3rd most possibility. I think assuming that only Jon could be the one makes no sense. I also believe that if Dany had somehow been able to be close enough, and just manage to poke him with Valyrian steel, there would still be hate, despite Dany having as much of a claim to the Azor Ahai, or the Prince/Princess that was Promised as Jon. People are just hating because it didn't go the way they thought after decades of speculation. Novel ended.
Melissandre shouldn't have given Stannis' soldiers flaming swords either way. Technically speaking, a flaming sword is a bad idea in normal combat because you wouldn't be able to do burn damage effectively, but the heat could burn wounds to prevent bleeding and weaken the steel of the blade. It would also make the wielders easier to pick out and target on the battlefield.
Loved the reaction and how hype y’all were. It’s been a long journey up until now. 1:01:20 okay but let’s NOT forget it is supposed to be someone with Targaryen blood who kills the Night king. I know y’all watched HOTD and most GOT viewers (watched or read) so you know the long running prophecy. I will always think it was wrong to have Arya kill him for all they set up, ESPECIALLY with Melisandre, but I will maintain that I love my girl and am proud of her Can’t compare Arya to little finger through their lifeSPAN, he has been an adult for many years and she has been a *legal* adult for 1-2. Of course a 40+ Peter is going to be mature, have experience, and have more knowledge than an elementary/middle schooler. Can’t timestamp because it’s the premiere but know it’s near the end for this part 😂
I totally loved this reaction and you guys did not disappoint ❤❤❤. Especially Brandon, I've been waiting since season 1 when he said Arya was his favorite character. I just knew he would love it. I'm so glad he stuck it out, especially after season 3. I enjoyed the heated debate at the end too. A reason I really love you guys videos because you give such interesting discussions at the end. I'm team Adison on this one, Jon should stay at number 1 spot. Don't get me wrong, I love Arya too, and Get Back Must Be Had, however she's mostly about revenge. That is not a number 1 spot character imo. Great reaction as always ❤❤❤
Love that this episode has the feeling of absolute desperation and despair. You feel the characters sweating and freezing at the same time. That’s crazy.
I appreciate Aryas moment to kill the Night King. Great reaction. However, its actually false that she was originally planned to kill the Night King. Even Maisie Williams (actress of Arya) herself along with most of the main cast expected Jon to be the one to do it. The showrunners merely took a plot point from an earlier season and used that as a convenient excuse for her to do it to subvert expectations due to Jon being too predictable of a choice. It just so happened to make sense at the time and since Arya was in many peoples top 3-5 characters, that particular decision happened to work out relatively speaking. If i was to do it differently I would have had Jon fighting the Night King in an epic 1v1 and have the Night King overwhelm and exhaust Jon physically and then have Arya swoop in as Jon and Bran are about to be slain by the Night King.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was going to explain it but then I saw your comment while I was scrolling. I was ticked off that Dan & Dave made it Arya just to subvert expectations. Kit Harrington was absolutely wrecked over it at the table read. Arya's moment was satisfying but like you said they could've shown us an epic 1v1 before bringing her into the fight. The two best Stark fighters against the Night King would've made better use of Arya's training as a Faceless Man and Jon's role as the Prince Who Was Promised. Instead he got to yell at a dragon. Very anticlimactic and one of many disappointing moments for me from this season.
Right and he had the audacity to brag about it after the episode! So much wrong with these idiot writers, but I blame Martin for not finishing the books.
Thank you!! How in the hell was Arya “made” or “destined” to kill the night king? That doesn’t make sense. Jon having so many confrontations with the night king, he should have been the one. I don’t care if it’s too predictable. In my opinion, very annoying that Arya did it just because everyone thinks she’s the coolest character ever. I’m gonna get hate for this but I think she’s overrated
Yeah no disrespect idk what first girl was talking about lol I watched this show way too many times the whole story line points to Jon vs the night king. Also very upsetting it was just 1 episode all the hype and build up just for 1 big battle it should’ve lasted a whole season tbh
ahhhh arya comin in hot is the best shit ever i was so excited when i saw this episode was comin i knew yall were gonna flip out u did not dissapoint lol

Yes indeed; Cee you Next Tuesday!! 😂❤️✌️🇨🇦
@kennyhudson9201 most people hate on it because it made no sense for her to be the one to kill him.
The show differs greatly from the books like that lol. She had no connection to the night king unlike Jon
who was brought back and prophecised to be the one to fight the night king ends up doing nothing.
Yes. Serio taught her that I believe way back in Season one
“CUZBAND” LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO That one is never leaving my vocab ever
Melissandre shouldn't have given Stannis' soldiers flaming swords either way. Technically speaking, a flaming sword is a bad idea in normal combat because you wouldn't be able to do burn damage effectively, but the heat could burn wounds to prevent bleeding and weaken the steel of the blade. It would also make the wielders easier to pick out and target on the battlefield.
"That had 5 Ikes in it!" 😂
Loved the reaction and how hype y’all were. It’s been a long journey up until now. 1:01:20 okay but let’s NOT forget it is supposed to be someone with Targaryen blood who kills the Night king. I know y’all watched HOTD and most GOT viewers (watched or read) so you know the long running prophecy. I will always think it was wrong to have Arya kill him for all they set up, ESPECIALLY with Melisandre, but I will maintain that I love my girl and am proud of her
Can’t compare Arya to little finger through their lifeSPAN, he has been an adult for many years and she has been a *legal* adult for 1-2. Of course a 40+ Peter is going to be mature, have experience, and have more knowledge than an elementary/middle schooler. Can’t timestamp because it’s the premiere but know it’s near the end for this part 😂
"A fish tank filled with whitewalker goldfish would be crazy"😂😂😂😂😂
I really needed this! Long week 🤣
Couldn't wait for that top tier Arya moment right there 😂😂 I'm so happy you did not get spoiled. EPIC REACTION. It was worth the wait you guys ❤❤❤❤
I agree
Not you calling the Night King, Snow Demon Dude and saying his drip is immaculate. 😂😂
Please do Vikings next

Watch the first episode again. It tells you a lot now you know what you know. Live what you young black men do. Keep making the community proud.
Brandon made good calls on the death list, at first at least 😅
I dont blame the Red Woman for Shereen. I blame the lord of light, he clearly exist, meaning he really told her to do that. We were angry at her because we didnt know if she was faking it.
jon is not a better character than arya HE NEVER could’ve survived what that LITTLE GIRL went through
The way danny grabs mormont amd turns him into a oncoming sword alwaysakese laugh
That’s not what happened. He pushed her out of the way.
Gutted I missed the live chat - looking forward to watching this! Have a great weekend guys 🫶
