I'm back to Vlogging after 4 years! I have not been doing my video diaries since the pandemic hits but now I'm back!
Brief summary:
Si Ian and I went for our holiday in Seoul, South Korea for 8D7N from 05 May to 13 May 2023 and we definitely fell in love with this country! We loved the ambiance and the food, oh my gosh, the food! In this video, we shared our first day in Seoul where we explored Myeong-dong shopping street, welcome you to our Airbnb in Namsan, and the place where we munched on delicious street food!
More detailed description:
Flying to Incheon Airport and then traveling to Seoul by Airport bus was no joke. It took us roughly 8 hours. We didn’t really sleep on the plane because at 12.00am they served food, so we ate! 🤣 Then there was multiple turbulence in the flight! 🤢 We had our first meal in Korea at this bakery called "Our Bakery", and had some hiccups with the tickets we purchased because we'd forgotten to change our watch/phone time to the Korean time zone! Upon arriving at Chungmuro station, we walked to the Airbnb under the rain and tried our best not to freeze to death 🥶 We stayed at a café called "Everything Store" for a while (because luggage storage service is at 11.00am and check-in is at 2.00pm) which was right downstairs our Airbnb, and when the rain stopped, we made our way to Myeongdong street and had my very first Corndog, yum. We then visited Myeongdong Cathedral and brought back some pastries from this bakery called "Le Pain" 🫶🏻 Finally, checked in to our Airbnb at around 4.00pm, crashed, and got up to eat our dinner in Myeongdong Street from 6.00pm 🤭

How was it getting there? Google maps unfortunately don’t show the correct street so wonder how it was navigating to find the location 😅 thank you for the vlog!

@@jennice01 Hello Jennice! Thanks for your comment! We used Naver map or kakao map alternative to google maps 😊 it’s also good to use kakao T (taxi) for going around alternative to grab ride, super cheap - you can either choose to pay by cash or card (but you will need a local mobile number to register ur card). Papago for translation, but most of them speaks english so not to worry!!! 😍 enjoy your trip to S.Korea!!!
