Man this episode HITS. I had a good, but difficult, day today. Nov of last year, my 1996 jeep Cherokee 4x4 was stolen in another state. But thanks to the love of my family, today, I have a "new" 1996 jeep Cherokee 4x4. We drove all day to get it and bring it back from Oklahoma. The difficult part of today was realizing the transmission needed work, and I shouldn't have driven it back home. I had been freaking out pretty much the whole drive home because of the transmission and the alignment. I use weed to calm myself down when I get too worked up, because me being worked up isn't going to solve anything. And hearing all of the stories about weed, while smoking the last of what I had, had me full belly laughing. Thank you, all of you, for the laughs and the tears.
I had a particularly good harvest one year, and baked 4oz of the best bud into a batch of brownies. These were nothing to trifle with. In the 70s there were no gummies or commercial edibles. If you wanted edibles you had to make your own. My neighbor came over, and I offered him a half of a brownie. In 5 minutes nothing had happened, so he ate the other half and a full brownie on top of that for good measure while I was out of the room. When I saw the pan and asked who had eaten a brownie and a half, my friend said they weren't working so he ate more. He lived less then 100 ft away from my place, but he had to sleep on my floor that night because he couldn't make it home. I had to feed his dog. Amateurs must be supervised around edibles.
Back in 06-07 when I was an RSO at a Tacoma shooting range we had a lady who rented a 357 revolver and no scoped a headshot. I came in for the noon shift, clocked in, and went to inspect the ranges. A couple of guys were shooting a saiga 12 in the right side range, cool. I looked in the left range and saw a purse on the lane table, so I thought "that's weird". Went through the double doors and found a woman lying on the ground with a gaping bright pink frothy head wound. Her letter to her daughter was next to her purse. Cops came by later, gave my statement, and went home for the day.
After my dad was recovering from from a stroke and some of the shit care he got a few good people inspired my new favorite phrase "passion vs paycheck"

59:05 I know that vid and to be honest I think one of the possible solutions to people acting like this that leads to an arrest would be to have the drunk watch the footage in it's entirety when they're sober, then tell them that the situation could've been avoided a number of ways. TL:DR bring back shaming people
Talking about street EMS, I bandaged a gigantic shin avulsion on an elderly lady at a Walmart with disposable baby diapers. She mistakenly walked up to the exit door instead of the entrance just as someone else was coming out. When the automatic doors swung outward, they smacked into the front of the buggy she was pushing. It knocked her off balance and as she's falling backwards, she had a death grip on the buggy and drug it backwards up both her shins. Old people skin being the consistency of tissue paper it mangled the shit out of them.
My mother is elderly and that alone could be a death sentence - slowly. They don’t walk the same again - the pain after alters their body. The surgery or drugs - all other factors can lead to a whole different life. You are so right about their skin and then their muscles and bones. Getting old sucks. Oh what my mother would do to simply dance again. That alone would make her want to soar with the clouds. Thank you for being out there and caring.
I bandaged up my fingertip I had almost sliced off with rags from the paint booth and plastic wrap lol the entire thing ended up bloody cause it reopened later in the work day cause I wasn't about to stop working just for that lol the shop foreman said it looked like my finger was a tampon cause of how thivk and red the wrapping was lmao

The thing with Frames Per Second Leon isn't that "we have become accustomed to this standard" but rather the standard is what it is because those FPS rates are what's most pleasing to the human brain for the different circumstances. It's not something we even consciously think about or are even aware of. It's just the human brain being itself. And the thing with BPM in music is that 92 bpm is the neutral range, it's not too slow, it's not too fast, it's just right there in the middle, the perfect goldilocks zone for an enjoyable beat you just groove to without realizing it.
My 1/2 gram story... yes, 500mg's. My buddie's ex-fiancé is a big pothead in SoCal. At the time, she was his fiancé. She made chocolate balls that were 1 gram a piece. She knows her fiancé, my best friend, is a pothead also, but also has to function for work. So, his tolerance wasn't as high as hers. As for me, she knew I smoked a few times per year, and generally don't eat edibles. So, to protect us, she said, "I eat a whole chocolate at a time. I recommend you two only eat half each." I lost 4 days of my life. Night one was just high-tunneled to the Andromeda Galaxy. The next day was just stoned sitting in a chair useless. Night 2 was continuing stoned, but now in the lying position. Day 2 was stoned and pot-hungover. Then the next two days were just stupid me until I could function on Tuesday! We ate them Friday night.
Keeping up with the unsubscribe podcast is like watching a life long season of trailer park boys. Y'all are amazing individuals that makes a family/community wholesome.
38:38 I had a couple of buddies that both went to combat medic school and they talked about hooking their friends up with IVs at the end of a hard night of drinking 🤣😂. My only response was "well, that's definitely not the WORST use of my tax dollars...at all; at least y'all were hydrated the next day" lol
Was a german airborne recon. We got trained as combat first responder Bravo and were all certified for IV. The medical department always sent fresh bags when they knew a party was approaching. 😅 We stored them in the fridge, which medically is worse but was really refreshing.
1:29:00 I like it when multiple creators make videos on the same story. Sometimes they find things the others missed, or make a connection the others wouldn't because of their unique background, and they all typically have a different way of presenting the story as well.
🎉600k🎉 I wish I had more time to listen to these uninterrupted. I want your guys analytics to be on point for that algorithm. Boy am I glad you guys talked about life insurance and real estate
Having worked in the MMJ industry for a short while, 100mg for someone who can’t handle a diluted double of tequila is a recipe for a time. Whether good or bad is very subjective 😂 A lot of people don’t realize you need to wait up to an hour and a half, possibly longer if it’s your first time! Already love the episode, love y’all!! ❤
I'm an attorney in NY, and I've worked both sides of foreclosures for about ten years, and the pre 2008 loan applications were WILD. You'd see guys making $60k a month who were getting loans but were so leveraged that they didn't have money for dinner.
Always love seeing Leon Lush on the show. Says the things that other people don't like to say and says it with a smile. I loved seeing the friendship between him and Eli just blossom it's way through. On the topic of the THC, reminds me of a friend of a friend who would drink a can of Monster almost every 2-3 hours while also smoking more weed than any human being probably should. But doing so made him the most normal human on the planet. It was an odd combination that just worked for him.
My neighbor is a Vietnam POW, and spent about 1-2 months on a riverboat going to his final prison destination when he was rescued. Lucky man, but still PTSD inducing. The entire nam experience, but the ship invasion and abduction didn't help. However, he, TOO, became an emt and did that job for the rest of his employed life IN NEW JERSEY as well, after his fairly long stint in the NHRA in the 70s and early 80s. He hates percussive fireworks, but says being a paramedic for 20 or so years makes up MOST of his PTSD. So take care of yourself, Bud. It's no joke. He did some cool shit creating young EMTs clubs and doing sports medicine for kid sports, but yeah. You can only gather up body parts strewn across a highway at accident scenes and the like so many times before you start taking it home with you (proverbially lol) Takes a special kind to do that job. He moved here to Vegas and worked on golf carts till he retired. You're a badass in my book, bro. Good onya.
My brother told me... When he was going through field medic school, his class would give each other IVs after they got back from drinking to rehydrate. Apparently the instructors left them kits, cause if you can hit a vein while drunk, you can hit one while hanging upside down from a seatbelt in a hummer.
I'd love to come down and hang out with everyone from unsub one of these days. From Nick, Donut, Eli, Brandon, Trout, and HLC. You guys are absolutely hilarious, And have kept me entertained for the last year and a half, religiously. Counting on episode 200, yall must do something a little wild and spectacular,

I love that at 50:16-50:18 you can STILL HEAR NICK even though the "Fucking" is censored he's loud enough to make the room echo. It's fucking hilarious to me
Knowing my luck I will actually slip and fall on a shampoo bottle, and each emt along the way will do that side look to one another and just say "sure thing buddy."
I went to Michigan in 2014 to visit a friend in college and Michigan had just legalized weed, my second night there he lays four big cookies down on the table and says I could have one. They were all packaged in clear packaging with a store tag to seal it. I ate one, one of the best cookies I've ever had, so I just took another one and ate it. He came out of the bathroom and stopped dead in his tracks and asked, "How many did you eat?" I said two. Then he asked, "Which pile did you get the second one?" I pointed, and he immediately went into damage control. Turns out, two were normal store bought bakery cookies and the other two were 200 MILLIGRAM POT COOKIES. They were the size of a DVD, and that night I became one with the universe. I don't remember when in the journey it happened but I talked to who I can only assume was god and he told me to enjoy myself and that I'll be okay. After I came out of it, two days later, I just looked at him and asked why anyone smokes weed when they could just do THAT. Edibles are amazing, and I've never done it since.
What a great episode to come out the day my EMT cert class starts. I've yet to watch it. I wonder how this will make me feel about my future. EDIT: Honestly, that made me feel pretty good about going to be an EMT, improvised butt plugs aside.
Same. I can’t sit there and watch or listen at regular speed. Comments on one NM LEO who has a lisp are usually “I can’t understand a word he or she says” I’m listening and retaining at 1.5 and higher and I just laugh. 😂

Rarely do I get to taste the salty goodness of Unsub 20 minutes after its posted. Its usually a day old with trillions of views.
Please get Ian from Forgotten Weapons in the show he said he’ll do it!!!
Ohhhh....Ian doing a Forgotten Weapons episode on the AK50 as a bonus for the appearance! Or any of Brandon's other guns that he hadn't alr3sdy done a video on 😅
Perfect timing, my favorite podcast to listen to at work, making the 1st 2 hours of this 12 hour shift go wayyyyy quicker.

My dad was a WWII and Korean War fighter pilot vet! He flew the bent wing Corsair! He was my hero!! RIP daddy ❤😂 I love all y’all on unsub and I totally enjoy you separately! ❤
The Ali quote was awesome, the Ali quote was awesome!😂😂
"What does your wife do?"
"Me."
Now trying to get the tea out of my sinuses.
Best way to start my day off
Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Anthony at the Boston show. Had been following him for a while, so that was one hell of an experience to top off the show, which was an out of body experience in itself.
I recommend you two only eat half each."
I lost 4 days of my life.
That wasn’t weed man😂
20:21 EMTBadge502 & Leon Lush synchronized drinks; So cute!!
We be magical 😌
Man I love Saturdays
It’s my new Saturday morning cartoons, adult version.
Facts. Diesel creek, scrappy industries, and this are what my Saturday mornings have become.
I work in an ER. We have a doc we call “The Claw”. They always get the foreign object out.
😂😂😂😂😂
Please tell me all the nurses greet him as "The Claw" in unison like the aliens from _Toy Story._ 😆
@@danielseelye6005 we do, all of the time! 🤣
Keeping up with the unsubscribe podcast is like watching a life long season of trailer park boys. Y'all are amazing individuals that makes a family/community wholesome.

I had a couple of buddies that both went to combat medic school and they talked about hooking their friends up with IVs at the end of a hard night of drinking 🤣😂.
We stored them in the fridge, which medically is worse but was really refreshing.
That and some sweet oxygen. Damn sure wished many times I still had that neighbor 😂
1:29:00 I like it when multiple creators make videos on the same story. Sometimes they find things the others missed, or make a connection the others wouldn't because of their unique background, and they all typically have a different way of presenting the story as well.
Everyone glosses over and focuses on different aspects of every story and when it comes to history especially, different viewpoints are invaluable
It's like watching two different porn companies film the same girl. Each video might go down a different rabbit hole on the same subject.
Best way to start my Saturday morning, thank you gentlemen!
Brandon Herrera for atf director
fun fact about toxoplasmosis: turns out people that die in motorbike accidents have a higher than baseline chance of testing positive for it.
I wanna know wtf pitbulls are infecting owners with
Doesn't it make the infected less avoidant to danger?

Boy am I glad you guys talked about life insurance and real estate
I absolutely love when Nic just busts out laughing 😂 it’s my fave thing
My weekend is complete now. Thanks boys❤
You guys should get a banner made for the live tour that looks like the background of the unsub set and you can hang it behind you guys on stage
Having worked in the MMJ industry for a short while, 100mg for someone who can’t handle a diluted double of tequila is a recipe for a time. Whether good or bad is very subjective 😂
A lot of people don’t realize you need to wait up to an hour and a half, possibly longer if it’s your first time!
Already love the episode, love y’all!! ❤
I get this for my birthday!?!?!?!?!?!?
Hell yes!!!!!!
Thank u yall! U made my birthday!!!!!!!

I'm so happy to see Leon on the podcast.
Good onya.
Outstanding episode gentlemen 👍
Roanoke Gaming needs to be on the podcast if you want to learn about parasites. And angler fish.
Zach Hazard would be cool too. Him and Brandon could go on some wild tangents
Counting on episode 200, yall must do something a little wild and spectacular,
46 seconds ago posted and I’m working rn shiiii gonna be a nice drive home thank you boys 🫡
This content is so content that I'm now content with my own contentment. Truly the content of all content 😅
Uh oh the amount of cards incoming is gonna be a treat. N good on ya for doing the donations to the local food banks when I was younger my family got massive help from our food bank and they’re definitely something that’s always needing help whenever poss for those less fortunate families and people
I live 45 minutes from y’all. I’ll bring my own gear and be the GunTube medic
Bring the liveshow to Florida!!! We love you boys!! Share the laughter!
Thank God for a new ep. that lead was looking mighty tasty
Any way you guys could do a USO-type tour? I’m stationed in Yuma and I haven’t been able to go to any of your live shows.
True crime is one where they all tell the same stories but I listen to them all because you get a different perspective from each telling of it!
What a great episode to come out the day my EMT cert class starts. I've yet to watch it. I wonder how this will make me feel about my future.
EDIT: Honestly, that made me feel pretty good about going to be an EMT, improvised butt plugs aside.
Bro, I used to see the moose when we see them up here with brain warm it’s crazy. They’ll follow a car 60 miles an hour down the highway.
If 92 bpm cadence is the sweet spot, what does it say about my brain that I watch most videos and listen to podcasts at 1.5 speed?😂
Same. I can’t sit there and watch or listen at regular speed. Comments on one NM LEO who has a lisp are usually “I can’t understand a word he or she says” I’m listening and retaining at 1.5 and higher and I just laugh. 😂
ADHD. It may be bat shit crazy but it’s my theory that those types of brains oscillate at a faster speed than other humans. It’s going fast enough to keep your attention
Oooooooo this is an episode I’ve been waiting for!
51:51 y’all laugh but I legit do sleep to nick’s videos
Amazing video and guests, also congrats on 600k🎉
Wait till the guys find out they are selling 1,000 mg gummies! 😂
Or that for people who use to help with chronic pain sometimes eat 500mg when the pain flares up lol
Wait until they come across joey Diaz stories of eating 2k while flying
@@jonathanheredia2200shit if you have a tolerance or just don't metabolize edibles well that isn't that crazy, I took 3000 mg once and just ended up a bit sleepy on the ride up to oregon
Thanks you guys, always fun.
Love you guys and everything you do. Looking forward to a range day with y'all someday.
