Adams Falls Hike near Grand Lake, Colorado

This was our second hike of the day, so we did a quick jaunt up to Adams Falls to see the raging runoff. Man was that awesome and so powerful! Probably the craziest waterfall I have visited so far, with it being cut into the hillside like it is, making for a treacherous viewing experience and nearly impossible for photography with it's current flow. Well worth the extra effort after a longer morning hike.

Those are some violent falls. Not the ones you want to slip and fall into. Looks like a meat grinder down in those rocks.

@@elevatedarchives Plus being able to drop down and walk right up to the wet/slick edge. Freakin thing drops right off.
