Beginning amateur luthier in Texas here. I wish I had a tone wood supplier like this near me! All the wood suppliers here are geared towards hobby builders that make furniture and such. Plenty of hardwoods and exotics, but no spruce or suitable pieces of maple. 🙁 So my only real option is ordering online and hoping that the spruce and maple billets are a good tonal match.
I choose this to also attract a non musician, modern, young audience and follow the typical vlog style. Was torn between classical music and this rythm, maybe next time I will try something else. It's a journey and my first vlog 🤗
