Not a graphic designer, but I love seeing the thought process behind the concept. I’m a writer and a neurodivergent person so I see things from a different perspective, and it creates a different connection with the audience
I assume you are very busy already, but nevertheless I would like to leave my request for longer videos. 45 to 90 minutes would be wonderful, just reviewing logos for example would be fine. I find these videos very inspiring and I like to do (design) work while having them running on the notebook next to me. Thank you, looking forward to all new videos from you, no matter the length.
Great video, Will Paterson. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on showcasing the design process in portfolios are invaluable. How do you recommend balancing visual appeal with informative content to best attract potential clients?
Im curious a out the business side of design work. How often do you land "big fish" vs smaller projects? Is there a balance or as a designer do you just take what you can get?
Hellini just started out as a graphic designer and im new to this portfolio thing. How is it made? Is there an app or it or website. If you have a video on it id love to watch 😊
Sir I want to start my logo design and Brand identity design journey please can you make a video on how to become one.what should we learn first then second and so on What are the basic fundamental principles should we learn and so other things please
Are you an advocate for full process books being linked with our projects? Or is showing behind the scenes such as the sketches or process photos within the project page enough?

WHY WHY ARE TEXT STILL SO SMALL ON 99% OF WEBSITES???? ALL THAT FLUFF DOESNOT MATTER - ONCE YOU VIEW ON MOBLE ITS ALL BLOCKS IN A ROW! AND ALL THOSE ANIMATIONS DOES MAKE YOU SEASICK - LESS IS TOTALLY MORE ON WEBSITES! FEW WORDS - BIG WORDS AND THEN IMAGES .... AND OF COURSE GUIDANCE TO MOVE DOWN AND ONWARDS!
As someone who has hired designers and looked through many portfolios, I have to disagree that people will spend time look at the process. Designers love to see the sketches and process but not sure those hiring will take the time. Just my thought. ✌🏼
Depends on who's hiring. If the person hiring is an HR who has been given a couple of pointers to watch out for, they won't look at it. But if the person hiring is a designer themselves, they'll appreciate it more. Hence why Will suggested *have more visuals upfront and then do a separate in-depth page with the case study and the process.*

@@jackieblue6116 but what is your impression if there is one vs there is not?
@@bsu5574exactly it's like terms of agreement pages or manuals, nobody reads them but it gives the impression of authority and professionalism
