Sorry to hear about your dad. Mine just passed away from that nasty crap few months back. I really enjoy your videos. They bring back such good memories. We had older smaller equipment growing up. It’s just nice to know there’s guys like u out there still farming because u love it. Not going corporate massive farms. Keep up the good work!
Man when it rains it pours with the equipment break downs! Glad yall were able to get the rye chopped and baled!! I love your drive, and motivation!! So enjoy following your journey!! So sorry to hear about your Dad, I hope things are going well as possible for him and the whole family!! Look fwd to seeing whats next, and my apologies for being late!! 😁😁👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌾🌾🍺🍺🍻🍻🗽🗽
Sure was a struggle 😬🤣. We chopped a little bit of hay and that went well so far. Dad starts treatment next week, we'll keep our fingers crossed. Thanks will
Some days are nothing but a struggle. Don't mind riding the struggle bus once in a while, but when I have to drive the damn thing every day that gets old. Sorry to hear about your dad. Good friends that help out when needed are worth their weight in gold. Really tells you, their character.
The nh tedder we had came with tine holders, a plastic piece that connected both teeth together. In 24 years never broke a tine but brone and lost all 24 tine holders.
Yea welcome to my world Mat we are starting Hay around here we still got tons of guys still have planting to get done it’s always a struggle stay true and believe in your journey 🍻🍻🍻🍻🥃🥃
Reminds me of my mom's cancer experiences and taking card of dad. At least you can get help, I think many farming areas are like that. Of course it's not farming unles something is breaking down!
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I heard some interesting observations by some highly published UK experts. They noticed innate immunity starts to drop at 55 and is almost zero by the time we are 70. However the TB vaccine boosts innate immunity and the people that got it didn't get cancer or c-o_vid. However you can only take the TB (BCG) vaccine twice in a life time. It has to be delivered in between the layers of skin where it leaves a mark at the back of the arm or shoulder. The video is on Dr John Campbells channel titled "T cells, cancer and immunity"
Sorry to hear about your Dad. Hopefully by the time you see this I have my corn in the ground . There was 1.5 inches of rain here on Sunday and more east of here.
Thanks. Well hopefully you got your corn in. We've got about 30 acres to go and alot of hay to put up. Got just over an inch of rain yesterday, more storms coming. Better than a drought though. 👍🍻🍻🍻
🤣🤣Somehow I figured that was what you were going to try to do this afternoon 😉 At least they are in the ground now to fix fence and spray between rains. Good luck 👍
You sure had some bad luck sorry to hear about your Dad's cancer I will pr a y for him I have been battling cancer for over 2 years now so I know what he is going threw.
Sorry to hear about your dad. Unfortunately that c word is becoming too common. Best of luck to your family, rye looks to be yielding quite well. That's a positive
Choppers should be engineered with a powerful magnet that could collect any steel or iron before it reaches the chopper blades. It's not just the blades that matter; it's all the hardware disease the metal can cause in the cattle. I'd be scared to feed that forage to the cattle.
I had the same thing happen to me last mowing. It would have been no problem to fix when I was 42, but at 72 it's a big pain in the ass just to lay down on the ground and struggle to get the belt back on properly and then get back up off the ground again. Airing up a low tire ain't so bad if you've got air handy.

Thanks. And sorry for your loss too. I have no interest in the go big or go home theory, gotta do it because you love it. Thanks for watching
Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he is going to be okay
Thanks. We're hoping for the best 🤞🤞
When one thing takes a crap, everything does. That cancer sucks, hopefully it was caught early enough and your Dad has a speedy recovery.🍻🍻🍻🍻
It's been a fight 🤬. We're hoping for the best, but it sounds like he's got a long hard road ahead. Thanks 🍻 🍻🍻

The newer choppers have a set up like that, it will stop the feed rolls when it picks up anything metal. I'm hoping to upgrade to one someday
I work in repairing tractors and agricultural machinery. I am looking for a job opportunity
Where are you located? Should be quite a demand for someone with your skills depending on what part of the country and the local economy.
Best of luck
Need 1 very good chopper
Doesn't seem to matter how new they are, them choppers are always high maintenance
@@hartungdairyfarm0713 true that
My day started out good till the lawnmower thru its belt. Then a flat on the mower. It's awful.
I had the same thing happen to me last mowing. Lol. Sometimes you just can't win
Maybe you got the bugs out of everything but that's not my luck ether payers for your dad
Yep I doubt it lol. Thank you
