Just because she has these symptoms doesn't mean you have ADHD, ADHD can be seen in many different ways, just because you have the symptoms doesn't mean you have it, but yea you should check for it.
@@abbyisyourcrush This is true. People often confuse the two. For example, in families where ADHD is present, individual traits of ADHD tend to be more common than ADHD itself. Most people in a family typically won't have ADHD, but many will have traits of it, then you have a minority with ADHD. ADHD is a polygenic disorder, meaning there are multiple and many genes involved, and each one contributes to individual traits differently. Hence, people can and often do have traits of ADHD without the disorder element.

@@Poland4life 8. No I was diagnosed at 12 and I'm 15 now. I'd word things wayyyy differently
@@mirandafrazier5221 your English and your pfp.
@@Poland4life That's my younger sister when she was a toddler. That was in the 2010's-2015's. She's now 12
@@Poland4life I also failed English, Thank you very much
The answering questions before they are finished asking is very real and can be so infuriating. My bf does it all the time and he'll KEEP guessing the answer before I can finish a sentence and it makes me want to scream...
Pls be patient with him I also have this problem and it’s not easy! ❤
The fact that my name is also Olivia and just newly diagnosed ADHD…I am so glad I found your account. You’re making me feel so seen and I thank you so much!❤
Literally what just happened to me! 😅 I feel so understood! Your Videos are amazing! Thank you so much!
I relate to this HARD..... I arrived to be assessed for adhd a full day late..... Thought I was meant to be there on that day, instead of the previous..... Needless to say, they saw me, assessed me and diagnosed me with adhd 😅
I have just perfectly demonstrated scrolling paralysis and time blindness, it’s 12:30 in the Morning, I have scrolled through all your shorts, I only meant to watch a couple, it was 11:00 pm when I started watching
WHY IS THIS AN ACTUAL CONVERSATION I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE TIMES
This is so true. With ADHD, when you try to look for stuff by remembering, it honestly gets harder to find it
Yeah the talking excessively, being easily distracted, and losing things are my main symptoms or the ones most noticeable. But I also am very inflexible and need organization yet I’m very disorganized. Worst symptom in my opinion to have is talking, it sucks, I wish I could just be able to keep everything in my head instead of blurting it all out. I feel so dumb sometimes
yo yiuh
yo tyytd

You know, I never thought there was a way to describe that the main symptoms of ADHD in one video but no, you pretty much covered it
I haven’t been diagnosed with ADHD and this is literally me every second of the day. XD
Wow thanks for all the likes this is the most likes and comments I’ve ever had on a comment xD
Maybe look into getting a diagnosis lol
@@rosepuppy1984 I agree but please do not self diagnose. It causes more harm then good.
@@unseasonedsalad which was why I said look into getting diagnosed
Me too
I literally have the issue that I am always 5 to 15 minutes late to nearly everything. All of these apply to me and if I ever have "free" time, my mind bounces around and cannot think of anything to focus on.
It is to the point that my boss basically diagnosed me of ADHD with everything but the name:
-hyper fixation of tasks.
-random bouncing between tasks
-no sense of importance of tasks
-inability to show up on time
-over talking due to a need to talk about a topic if it comes up
-many many more
It would be better if she said "i'm gonna go.... wait where am i going again?"
I just wached all your shorts and as someone who has ADHD they were really helpful😊
Oh my word! Yes!! I’ve lived all of my life like this! 😅 I finally found this little oral dissolvable strip that has helped so so much!!! All plants! Total game changer!!
As a person with ADHD, I support this message
I'm scared that it's so accurate... I need to check it for sure tho-
Same, I can relate to some of their videos, but I don’t want to jump to conclusions yet!
“yeah but thats not until- oh my god its in 10 minutes.” the most relatable sentence i think ive ever heard
I think you just saved my life I thought I was going insane 😂 I finally found a way to explain myself to my family ❤
Wow you are so accurate. It brings tears in my eyes seeing this because my ex girlfriend used to talk exactly like this.
I wish I had more awareness about mental health issues when I met her, so I could help her.
It makes me feel bad that we are not together anymore and I can’t help her.
If I knew this earlier things would have been different today
God Bless You
THAT IS LITERALLY ME- Other than the losing track of time thing. I do lose track of time, but I have anxiety and I have a literal fear of being late so I'm always early lol
I do everything, but for the first one, I don't forget important tasks, I set timers do I don't forget 😂 always way to early and never late😏
Seriously tho my siblings used to hate me “interrupting” when I just blurted out an answer.
Hey Olivia, I actually came here to find a video on sensitivity to physical touch and almost went through all your videos. May be you could do one if you ever run out of ideas 😅 I'd be elated!
I love how u make me a lot more comfortable having ADHD!
⚠️REMINDER⚠️
~just because you have all of these symptoms doesn’t mean you automatically have ADHD~
And if you have none of them it doesn't mean you don't have ADHD, best to ask psychiatrists👍
Number three hit me hard. I never understood why my former friend would talk to much and then I started talking so much and turns out we both have ADHD TvT
Now I struggle with interrupting like she did. Now I understand her. I feel bad for judging her so much.
Your friend started talking to much so then you started talking tok much. Your friend started interrupting so you started interrupting meaning these things only started after you met your friend lol.
@@yah-mums-best-friend No, that friend was from elementary school. My interruptions started quite a few years after we parted
"yeah it's not until- oh my god it's in 10 minutes" holy moly-
multiple. sets. of. keys. are. life. changing.
This is a great Shorts. All is very recognisable. And I set timers too, so (too) early as well.
You just described my whole life
I always find things when i am looking for something else.
Me: does all these things all the time
My family: no way will we get you looked at by a doctor, you can't have ADHD!
My research and paranoia: *are you sure about that*
Update: I was diagnosed with adhd. I WAS RIGHT-
SAME
Watched your recent stye short, then all of your shorts from newest to oldest, and that’s why I’m commenting now…Love your humor and style!!!
Watching your videos almost every day is makinge question if i have adhd becouse i experience almost everything you say on a daily basis.
this is valid
Your first
Omg this 100% me and I haven’t been diagnosed with ADHD. 😂🤣😬
People with ADHD
👇
they all wanted to give you thumbs up but then got distra
“But that isn’t until, omg it’s in ten minutes” got me, it’s so relatable
This is so clever to show the symptoms in a day to day conversation
this is me 😅🙃😭
but i dont have ADHD, just other stuff
(well, i mean the ADHD has never been ruled out, Im just counting it as so until I get more therapy to sort through my issues.)
It’s possible I have ADHD
Love your infinity-heart! Positive poly representation ftw!
I feel like you are spying on me with my cell phone or something and you make these videos based on my life's interactions and actions. Keep the great content coming!
Why are these so relatable 😂
Most recent time this happened with an appointment - Wednesday...
True ! I spent a long time looking for my keys today 😅 I love your necklace
This is the video that made me look into ADHD. Now i am officially diagnosed. Thank you Olivia love you girlie❤
Have not been diagnosed with ADHD but the more I see videos like this the more I worry I have it because I have done all of these things within the past week
Hell yeah! Time perception, lack of organisational skills etc is a constant battle for me. You can teach yourself to be organised, keep important events in your phone calendar
Fair play, this is very well done!
Blurting out answers before questions are finished is something that perfectly describes me.
Just watched all your shorts in one sitting. Yup, I've got it.
Omg u are such a great actress
Me going all the way to the first vid realising i have been watching her this long❤😂
The talking part got choked out of me by my parents. I always got stuff like "SHUT UP" or "You've been talking for hours when will you quit".
Girl with ADHD here, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve lost my glasses. They are somewhere in my house but don’t know where I last took them off to scratch my nose or to rub my eyes or clean them etc. Looking for my glasses without my glasses is another level of difficulty.
This is me I don't think I have ADHD but I find this so relatable
I loose my socks all the time 😂 „Aaa, I need to go!!! Wait, where are my socks?“ 😅
Never before has a shirt been so relatable-
This is the most accurate one so far
I do all of this and rhe more I watch your videos and relate the more i get convinced i might have ADHD
Ok have you been watching me!!! Cos this is scarlily accurate
As someone with adhd I agree with these points and feel seen thank you it can be a struggle but I wouldn't change it cause it's apart of who I am even though I sometimes feel embarrassed about it
Talking excessively & being distracted easily are pretty hard to overcome especially when hanging out with close friends
BRO THIS WHOLE SHORT IS SO TRUE XD
I don’t know if I have ADHD but I’ve been looking into the symptoms and I have most of them so than,s for the tips!
I nearly missed my bus this morning I got distracted all morning and realised I still needed to brush my teeth, clean my ears (piercing), do my makeup, put on shoes and do my skincare right when I realised it was too late to do any of those things 😅
I need a diagnosis because YOU HAVE DESCRIBED MY LIFE
Have a box in which u drop keys etc . Keep a spare of EVERYTHING. MY walls r plastered with notes & reminders. You're not alone. Keep it up everyone!
