      @@estellekoeI think it's more of, they waited until the last minute and now even if they rush, anything going wrong is going to make it worse. Because if you leave not at the last possible second together there on time you have extra time for unexpected things to make you take longer. But you're right that smaller numbers make time feel less

On the other hand, I managed to trip and fall into a career I enjoy where my oddball brain can be super helpful to me and my teammates. I'm 50 now and don't think I'll ever feel like an adult - we're all winging it in our own way. People who you might think "have it all together" are either merely good at tasks you find difficult, are faking it, and/or have other problems you can't see - get one of them to help you with the boring stuff. If a person is only impaired by their symptoms "sometimes" or "occasionally", and their difficulty is not clinically significant, a diagnosis of ADHD is not accurate.

I have always been quiet and not very talkative, which in little kids is seen as a virtue and they’re called “obedient” and “respectful”, but the truth for me is that I was quiet cause my brain was in a completely other location. • @foggy922
      @foggy922 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@abbyisyourcrush This is true. People often confuse the two.
      For example, in families where ADHD is present, individual traits of ADHD tend to be more common than ADHD itself. Most people in a family typically won't have ADHD, but many will have traits of it, then you have a minority with ADHD.
      ADHD is a polygenic disorder, meaning there are multiple and many genes involved, and each one contributes to individual traits differently. Hence, people can and often do have traits of ADHD without the disorder element.

    What helps me with focus when I’m completing tasks at home and I don’t want to take medicine is I have something playing in the background. No music but I have a tv show that I’ve already watched so I don’t get too distracted. I take small breaks between what I’m doing. It typically takes me an hour just to do one chore but this really helps spread up the process! NOTE: This may not work with everyone!! Don’t stress out (try not to) if it doesn’t work right away! It takes time to get used to.
